Soo very disappointing
Soo very disappointing. My first and last time ordering from this company. I ordered silicone baking cups and a bathing suit. Said delivery time 6-9 days. I ordered on 3/29. There is no communication about your order is/ has been shipped. I received the baking cups on 4/6, very flimsy, base of baking cups very small. NO bathing suit. Separately shipped & not received until the 4/14th. The picture of the bathing suit is very deceiving. It looks like either white or cream in the description and I received it and its a yellow background do not care for it. Looks cheap. I will never order from this company again, so disappointing!!

I am writing regarding my recent order from SHEIN. I received very small package, but there was NO BOX and an empty PACKAGE. The item I ordered was a dresser, and there was nothing inside the small package when it arrived.
Don’t buy anything from this company…
Don’t buy anything from this company it’s a SCAM. You buy products from them and they deliver to your address take a picture of a product with your address. THEN TAKE IT BACK. When you contact them they say they can’t replace or refund your money because it was delivered and they will send you the picture of a package taken with your address. I even sent a Ring Camera video of the event. SHAME ON YOU SHEIN for stealing from your customers. I lost $328 for 14 Romwe jeans.
Poor customer service
Poor quality, item different from what is advertised and they will not allow you to return the items. Whenever you attempt to download pictures showing your reason for the return which I think is unprecedented - you have to show that they are too small, too long, different color, etc. which is crazy - nothing else happens. You are not allowed to submit or go any further and Shein makes sure you are not able to continue to return. I lost money and will open a complaint with my credit card company to recoup some of my funds. Beware of this company!!!!

Stay away from this marketplace platform. It is used as a fraudulent place to advertise false items that lead you to believe your receiving one thing vs what you will actually receive. When that happens, SHEIN has no contact phone number for a reason and they have Chinese robots that only use pre-populated email info to respond. Hear my best advice and STAY AWAY! Pay the extra $5-$10 US dollars and you’ll be glad you did in the long run!

SHEIN sucks overall
SHEIN sucks overall. I’ve purchased 3 things that I’ve actually loved. The other 25+ items ended up going to charity. Things that I actually want to purchase always seem to double or triple in price when I come back to buy them a week later after adding them to my wish list. When you add stuff to your cart, the price will be higher than what was actually shown in your search results. And when you add additional items to your cart, it raises the prices of both that item and all the other items in your cart. Which doesn’t make any sense. Usually you get a discount when you purchase more items as opposed to them jacking up the prices the way SHEIN does when you try to buy additional items. Most of their stuff that actually looks really decent is as expensive as department stores or other online stores at this point. $30-$40 for a sweater that doesn’t look super cheap is typical now. I don’t really recommend SHEIN unless you like being disappointed both when you get your items and when you go to your wishlist or cart to purchase them.

While I love SHEIN! Lately I’ve ordered 2piece outfits and received only half of them either the top of one or the bottom of the other. I can’t seem to get in touch with them. Is there a way to contact them regarding this issue??
This company is not trustworthy
This company is not trustworthy. While I did receive one of my items directly from shein, their policies for vendors and storefronts are not acceptable. Many of these vendors are obviously selling items they don't physically have in their warehouse. I placed an order for "local warehouse" and "quick ship" and the vendor put it in the "packing" phase until well after the estimated delivery date. I saw an announcement blaming the delay on flights and snow storms and it was all lies. The system would not let me cancel my order myself stating that it was already shipped but it was actually in the packing phase. I received no updates from the vendor on what was taking so long. Also I was supposed to receive 500 points for late delivery and never received ANY type of compensation for the inconvenience and lies, probably because they blamed it on nonexistent snow storms. Once I receive my refund I will delete my account. I have never had any problems with temu.
They sent me a used dirty dress
They sent me a used dress. Open it up smells like marijuana laundry detergent somebody's hair on it and dirt.
TERRIBLE SERVICE - They delivered to a “front desk” that doesn’t exist!!
I am extremely disappointed with SHEIN. I ordered a wooden guitar for my son’s Christmas gift, but it never arrived. Despite my Ring doorbell showing no delivery at the time they claimed, customer service insists it was "successfully delivered."
Their "proof" of delivery is a joke: they claim it was signed for by someone named "HYUN" at a "Front Desk." I live in a single-family detached home. We don't have a front desk, and no one by that name lives here. It’s obvious the driver delivered it to a random business or apartment complex, yet SHEIN refuses to take responsibility. Their support just repeats the same scripted response over and over. Avoid this company if you actually want to receive the items you pay for. This feels like a total scam.

I have never experienced a more manipulative and exhausting customer service process than with SHEIN.
I had $45.52 refunded into my SHEIN Wallet from a canceled order originally paid by credit card (confirmed by my bank transaction). Since then, SHEIN has refused to let me use, withdraw, or access my own money.
Here is what happens every single time:
• I try to place an order using wallet balance + points (total = $0)
• SHEIN forces me to add a credit card or PayPal anyway
• The order is then blocked by “risk control”
• Customer service asks for bank transaction screenshots for an order that was NOT paid by a bank
• Rinse and repeat. Over and over.
Senior representatives give contradictory answers:
• One says I can order
• Another says the account is restricted
• Another says the wallet funds came from a “game” (false — my bank has the transaction)
• Another says nothing can be done “per policy”
They constantly ask for screenshots and videos, then claim they are “insufficient”, without ever fixing the issue. It feels intentional — designed to make customers give up.
I filed:
• A bank dispute
• A BBB complaint
• A CFPB complaint
SHEIN still refuses to release or honor wallet funds they themselves refunded.
This is not a technical glitch.
This is money trapping and procedural stonewalling.
⚠️ WARNING to other shoppers:
If SHEIN refunds money into your wallet, you may never be able to use it again. There is no withdrawal option, no accountability, and customer service is an endless loop of scripted replies.
I will never shop here again — and I strongly advise others to think twice.

I went back and forth with them for a week and they said even though the items were shipped together, they came from different warehouses. OK, then where was the notification? They couldn't be bothered.

I wish i can give them zero , never trust what their costumer service tells you, it is been more than two weeks and I'm wasting my time with their costumer service agents and nothing resolved, they made me pay a shipping fee equal to the dress amount and they suppose to refund it but they didn't yet they refused to refund my money as the same way i paid they want to refund on different way on account i don't have it , i contact BBB but still same, and there's a chat open with 2 agents everyone tell me something different it's look like everyone in different company.. again don't trust this company be careful
Horrendous customer service
Horrendous customer service. I had a payment verification issue with a $300 order on Shein's end yet the payment was fully processed from my bank's end and the money was taken. I was advised to submit documentation proving that the payment was valid from my bank. I provided these images yet kept getting told by their automated system that the picture weren't sufficient. They were. So I reached out to their customer service five or six different times desperately seeking help. Everyone I spoke with was either clueless or kept telling me different things, or provided generic canned responses that would indicate they didn't actually read what my concern was. I already knew Shein had a bad reputation but I can't stand useless customer service that doesn't actually care about helping you. I ended up cancelling my order because after a WEEK of helpless representatives I got no resolution. First and last time I ever try to do business with them.
