I was quoted by a salesperson named Christopher for long distance moving from Tampa FL to Madison AL of $3,091 which was very reasonable. He was told many times that we had a 16 foot pod in the driveway that needed to be unloaded and that there were other things in the garage that needed to go into the 24ft moving van. I was deceived from the minute the salesperson told me that there would be three helpers and only two showed up. I had put a deposit of 1,143 down in good faith not knowing I was being lied to.

When the actual movers showed up they knew nothing about the 16 ft pod and stated that the $3,091 was for a 695 cu ft space and all of my HHG was 1400 cubic ft.

I was diagnosed with cancer two months ago and nearly had a heart attack when the price quoted went from $3,091 to $5700. Every time we call USA movers now to get this straightened out, they tell us they can’t help us because I signed a contract with them. I signed a contract for $3,091 not $5,700. They are nothing but brokers and the moving company Eli Moving and Srorage is no better. We had no choice but to go with these people as my husband had to be in Madison AL that Sunday and it was too late to shop for cheaper rates.

This is a travesty of justice. We can’t afford $5700 for a long distance move when we were quoted $3091 to begin with and now they are threatening to charge us more. . My cancer treatments cost over $10,000 a treatment.

Please do your homework and at least stay away from these two moving companies as both will steal your money and hold your HHG hostage because you signed a bad contract.

I hope there is some kind of justice that will right this wrong against us especially when Eli Moving and Storage was told that we signed a contract for $3,091 and was forced to sign another contract for an additional $2,660 as when we tried to get help from US Moving Group they pretended to not know Eli Moving and Storage and no one would would rectify or take ownership of their error.

This company is a scam, do not use they just still deposits. I was starting a new job soon and needed to move from NC to Ga really quickly. Contacted this company originally spoke to Jay. got an estimate of about 2200.00 deposit 800 dollars or so which I believed to be reasonable. In the agreement I had up to three days before my move to cancel and my deposit would be returned. great fine, I think. we do an initial inventory no alarms, she informs me someone will contact me a few days before the movers get to me to do second inventory. (Just make sure I didn't miss anything from previous inventory). I was then transferred to Colin to finalize everything and that was that. A couple days later I get a call from another young lady (sorry can't remember her name) she is trying up charge me on insurance cost I informed her my current coverage was fine. After some light back and forth the conversation was over. A couple days later received expected second follow up inventory call. I added three things to my original inventory and was told I doubled my square footage of my original inventory and was requoted at 4500.00.I decided this was unreasonably high and decided to cancel and for them to return my deposit. I was told that they can't refund my deposit as more than three days had passed since I signed my contract. (Mind you it was told to me that if I canceled three days before my move, I could get A refund). Talk this rep and her supervisor supposably would not return deposit. what I was told that I could keep my original move quote since I had already paid my deposit I just may have to get rid of some of my stuff which is just nuts. I will be taking legal action and reported to the better business association. Do you your research is all Im am saying and if I can keep someone else from getting great.

I didn’t get past one phone call with this “company”. I decided to look up the reviews ahead of time and upon seeing them mentioned I wanted to do more research because the reviews weren’t great and I wanted to ensure I wouldn’t have any issues. The person I was speaking with immediately became angry and began saying how they wouldn’t want my business if that was the case and yelled bye repeatedly into the phone. I don’t usually leave reviews, but the level of unprofessionalism from just one phone call was astounding. Do not trust this place, anyone that gets that upset about someone doing research on their company is a scammer.

This company is a scam. Pleasant sales person asks all the right questions and is friendly, which makes you believe it is legit. I asked if the quote could be sent so I can think it over and the sales guy immediately got defensive and extremely pushy. He asked what was the delay? Why wouldn’t I just pay right now? Why wouldn’t I just do this? I began to get uncomfortable and said boldly “I am not going to give you my credit card information on this phone call”. He replied “FINE!!!!” And hung up.

The best moving group you’ll ever book! They were efficient, delicate, and the kindest people! Moved my stuff to its destination without a hassle and in perfect condition. Thank you guys!

Too bad you can’t leave a 0 star review. They’re liars, scammers, and thieves! Ended up paying more than 2x the initial quote, delivery was ‘delayed’ by over 2 weeks, items broken - including my bed, which also had missing parts, and many items missing. Monetarily, “missing” items worth over $3000; sentimental items “missing” are irreplaceable and priceless. Tried to file a claim through their insurance, but thanks to their incompetence, papers I needed weren’t sent to me and claim was denied. Thanks, Elizabeth, US Moving Group, and Lucrative Van Lines!

Quoted $2000, but ended up being charged over $5000.00! Liars, crooks and you can’t cancel because they keep your money. Then they show up an hour early and had to wait for the bank to open to get them cash and charged us $125 because they came early and we didn’t have cash ready. They would not start to unload till we had cash even though they were early! We told them we had A 10X20 storage unit. They should know how much space we need but kept upping the price. Do not use them. A lot of our stuff was damaged and broken!!

Got scammed, they shouldn't be in business. Provided a quotation which was severely undervalued, entered into an agreement and then attempted to raise the price by over 4X the original. Couldn't cancel without paying a hefty fine. No service, no adjustment, just straight theft.

US Moving Group reached out to me after I submitted my information for a move from MPLS to ATL. I paid a $677 retainer for an intricate list of items to move, movers who would break down certain items/transport to ATL/reconstruct said items/place it all in my home. I opted for this service as it allowed me to not need to travel back to MPLS & they offered a discount as they were already en-route to ATL. I would then owe $500 day of pick up & another $500 day of delivery.

On Oct 20th, the moving company, Lucrative Van Lines LLC, who US Moving Group contracted, failed to call me for my 6PM quality control appt where we were to review and instead called my MPLS contact to pressure up-sale the move.

The day of the move arrived & 1 hr before the 2hr window they allotted, Lucrative called to say they'd be 1-2hrs late. This left a small window of time for him to allow Lucrative in before needing to leave. Upon arrival, Lucrative said they couldn't fit everything in & demanded I pay $1175 instead of the $500 I owed. I only had 5min to consider as they were so late. I ended up proceeding with payment & contacting US MG to get it sorted out after. They not only didn't bring my dining table, but didn't break down materials, so my contact had to do so for them.

I contacted US MG to bring up my experience. At first I received no response as my rep was no longer with the company and they did not have an auto response in place. I then called and spoke with a rep who said she would reach out to Lucrative and get me more infor within 2 days. I never received a call back and my delivery date came on Oct 31st.

I was stuck out of town with a flat tire at the time, so my friend agreed to let Lucrative in that morning in the window they gave of 8-10AM. Once again, they were late, showing up at around 11:15AM instead. I received a call that I was again being price gouged and needed to pay $875 instead of the $500 I had on contract. They said I signed a contract agreeing to this which I disputed immediately. Apparently they had asked my contact in MPLS to sign a contract regarding this payment despite NEVER calling me, sending me a copy or otherwise. I now had 30min window of time my friend in ATL could stay to make this decision and was told if I didn't pay it, they'd take my belongings, store them & charge me an additional storage & redelivery fee on top of the $875, so without having any choice in the matter, I paid again hoping US Moving Group would assist once I got in contact.

My friend contacted me to let me know that Lucrative did not bring any help, it was just one guy & he was asking for help moving. I called the rep to tell him that's not what I paid for and my friend was only there to open the door & lock it behind him. I asked him if he brought help & asked him to confirm that he would not be using my friend for manual labor. He said he absolutely did bring help & the only thing he needed my friend for was to keep an eye out & make sure he didn't bump into anything as he pulled things into the home. I found out after that there were no other reps there & my friend had to help him move all the furniture. Not only that, but Lucrative did not set up the day-bed or closet storage in the contract.

I contacted US MG again & was told they would do nothing even though I was clear on my MPLS contact being there only to open/close the door & Lucrative went behind my back to have him sign a contract locking me in the agreement. They said there was nothing they could do about differences in their contract vs Lucratives & if I wanted, I could look into a small claims case in court.

Not only are they actively misrepresenting services offered, but they are unwilling to follow up on breaches of contract. As a business owner myself, anyone I contract out is a reflection of me and my company, but this is not the quality stance they take. My first cheerful sales call turned into a whirlwind of bad customer service and deliberate scams, so I highly recommend avoiding this company and any subcontractors they broker services to.

Scam. Taking advantage of honest hardworking people. They get you on the phone with a pleasant salesperson. They give reasonable estimate. Then Fredrick calls a few days later to break the news that you need to pay thousands more to fill the entire cubic feet of the truck. Don’t ever give them payment other than a Credit Card with 5% fee added in so you can dispute their fraudulent charges. Horrible experience. I feel sick.

I can’t express strongly enough do not use this broker. They contract inexperienced movers. They broke things on pickup and then took my truck to a warehouse, unloaded it and put it on more than one truck. On delivery a lot of my stuff was missing. I have been fighting with them to get my things. Do not even consider using them. It has been the worst moving experience I have ever had!

SCAM ALERT! SCAM ALERT! SCAM ALERT!!! There should be a zero star option. This is not a legitimate moving company, please don't let them steal your money like they did to me. It's a group of scammers operation as a business. They collected my $589.00 and no one showed up to pickup my things from 9/13 - 9/15. And they are refusing to refund my deposit. Please don't add to your stress working with them.

This company is a broker and none of the money you pay them actually goes toward your move. And their fee is based on the estimated cubit footage you'll need for the move, when it should be a standard fee for their service. All they do is get a list of your items, give you an estimate of cubic footage and arrange for a moving company. So I paid $3K for that? I wouldn't recommend this company if they gave me back my $3K.

My husband & I were working on helping our daughter & move back home, to escape an abusive marriage. My husband looked online & found a site that claims to match you with a moving container, & a “mover from US Moving Group called back. Strangely enough, it was cheaper for them to pack up my daughters home, drive it from Wa. to La. than it was to get a Uhaul & do it ourselves. Also, the caller claimed that it was convenient because he had a job in a small city, only 1 hr away from where we lived, on the same day of arrival. They’re based in Florida. That was the 1st set of red flags.

“Dylan” was very pushy about getting us to hurry up & send him a deposit & 1st half of the payment, but my husband asked him to wait while I researched them. I found that they just registered in May 2023 & they had no Google reviews, but I found several reviews scattered across the internet, saying they’ll steal your money & your belongings, then change their name after a few months of bad reviews. My husband decided to just hang up, that’s when his phone started ringing off the hook, about 10 calls in a row from a Florida number then one from a local number.

I answered it & heard “Hi, this is Dylan, I was speaking with your husband & we were disconnected”. I said “oh, we’ve decided to go with getting a uhaul” he immediately & sharply said “can I ask why?” & I said “Dylan, why are you calling me from a Louisiana number, after repeated calls from a Florida number” & he said “oh, we use a dialing system that shows a number local to our customers when we’re calling them”. That was another huge red flag ! He asked again “mwhy you are cancelling” and I said “I found some concerning info online” then he repeatedly asked “can I ask what site?” & I would say “thank you anyway Dylan” & he’d repeat it again, harshly, until I said “it’s ok Dylan, we’re just using a Uhaul” & he laughed & said “ok, ha ha ha, well… La Cucuraucha, you dumb b**ch !” and he hung up on me.

Once the shock & confusion washed over me, it dawned on me that either: he thought our very French-Cajun last name was Spanish or he looked up my husbands facebook & is too dumb to realize that not all dark skinned people come from the same place. Either way, the “owner” is a scammer & a racist !

File Complaints with the FMCSA! Write Congressional Representatives, Contact your sate’s Attorney General! Posting here is great but these are professional convicts that came out of the local penitentiary! They just do this all day everyday. Unless you take the steps above. They will continue to just file articles of dissolution with the Secretary of State in Florida and Incorporate a in a similar name. Follow the clues!

RUN FAR AND FAST!! This company is a scam, I put down a deposit then cancelled the money in the time allowed by the contract. It has been 60 days and I have not received a refund and get nothing but the run around.

This company is A FRAUD, they will take your money and your stuff. They re-name the business every month to get new fake reviews to keep the scam going. DO NOT USE. Look then up on BBB. They will send out a truck from a company in NJ who is running a separate scam who will steal your items. Called moving and packing Relocation Specialists from Hawthorne, NJ. This company is criminal

If I could give 0 stars, I would.
Please do yourself a favor and do not use this moving company. They are fraudulent to say the least. It was written in my contract that I had 2 days to cancel the order and I did this within 1 day after reading horror stories about this company online. I have still have not received my 1000 refund from this company after a month. I am currently working with the fraud department of my bank on this matter, but save yourself the money and the headache.
P.S. If you can’t already tell, all the 5 star reviews for this “company” online are being written by their “workers”. Don’t be deceived.

DO NOT USE. This company will take your deposit, and then send a company from NJ who does not have insurance or a license to come take your stuff. And they do not deliver your stuff. US Moving Co regularly changes their ip address and name to reset their reviews after each round of scams they pull off. We are out 2k with no service and had to start over the day before our move out day. This company is a fraud!!
