The company name leads you to believe they are London-based, and their website states they are London-based. The clothing comes from China, which is fine if they were upfront about that and explained the potential delivery timeframe. However, they claim 2-day delivery; the dress came way too late for my event. The item quality is very basic and doesn't reflect the images on their site. The dress shows a boned corset style, but this isn't the case. It's one layer of fabric and low quality.

You're not getting what you pay for, and the company isn't what it seems.

Took 3 weeks to deliver even though it said 3-5 days delivery. When emailed about this they said its a busy time of year not that it is being shipped from another country.
Colour and dress are cheap looking and nothing like what they have sold.
Returning the item is near on impossible. They offer a 10% refund.... you get more money back paying the return fee of £20-£30. AVOID this scam of a company.

I ordered two dresses and after seeing these reviews it is no surprise that the order arrived and looked nothing like advertised . They also only sent me one of the dresses I ordered. How did other people go about getting a full refund as they are claiming I need to pay £30 to return the one dress they sent and won’t be issued a refund for both dresses.

Shocking brand says London but comes from china, if I knew that I wouldn’t pay £40 for a single dress came and didn’t fit whatsoever my bum cheeks literally were on show and the boob area was terrible quality, tried to get a refund multiple times then in the end got told that it would cost me near £30 for a return label and take a month before they would process a refund. Shit brand. Shit clothing

DO NOT DO IT! Seriously don’t! I thought it was a UK company with the name and the price but it’s worse than SHEIN quality with higher prices attached. My dress was see through, there was no structured bodice. You can see my genitals through the material. Customer services are piss poor too. Offering me £4.50 back out of £45! Returns are not free either. Took them a week before it was even shipped and only after I emailed for tracking did they ship it which is when I found out it was made and shipped from china.

I ordered two dresses from Valentina London after seeing they advertised 3–5 day delivery. Unfortunately, one of the dresses arrived around two weeks later, after the event I had purchased it for.
The quality of both dresses was disappointing and did not meet my expectations. Neither dress has been worn and both remain in their original packaging.
When I requested a return, I discovered I would have to pay £20–£30 to return the items to China, despite the company branding itself as "Valentina London." I was not aware at the time of purchase that returns were handled overseas.
Customer service repeatedly offered only a 20% refund and refused to provide a prepaid return label or any reasonable alternative, even though the delayed delivery meant one dress was no longer usable for its intended purpose.
Overall, I was disappointed with both the product quality and the after-sales service. Based on my experience, I would not purchase from this company again.

I advised everyone not to order from this website they are scams I have bought for my daughter a prom dress when you see it on their website it looks stunning when we received the material s super low quality also their is a lot of fluffy bit comes on my skin straight away start etching the dress see through like a net. the funny from the back the corset they put a white shoe laces with open ends the dress are gold.
Tried to refund it they they keep offering 5% off I refused after the 7th email they gave me the address is in China you have to pay £30 to £40 to return went to post office the address don't exist.
I lost over £90. I truly advise do not buy from this website unless you want throw your money.

Arguing back and forth over a month now trying to get a refund and all they offer is for me to return the dress or 15% refund then said 20% then 25%. Absolute joke of customer service save your time & money order from club L or something at least you know you’ll get better!!

Extremely poor quality item and looks nothing like the picture. I’m annoyed I bought on impulse and didn’t check reviews first. It’s shipped from China so I hold no hopes of being able to return it for a refund. It will likely be thrown straight in the bin, as it is not wearable at all.

The quality of the dress was nothing like what was advertised on the website. The product I received looked completely different from the photos, and I was extremely disappointed.

To make matters worse, the dress arrived well after the maximum delivery timeframe they advertised. I bought it specifically for my prom, and because it arrived so late, I couldn’t even wear it. The entire experience caused me unnecessary stress trying to find a last-minute replacement.

Despite the dress being misrepresented and arriving far too late, the company has refused to provide a full refund. Instead, they offered only a 15% refund and expect me to pay £20–£30 to return an item that was not as described.

This has been one of the worst online shopping experiences I’ve had. Poor quality, unreliable shipping, and terrible customer service. Save yourself the disappointment and shop elsewhere.

Avoid at all costs. If I could give less of a star I would, absolutely shocking company. The don’t give a full refund they will offer 10% then say we don’t normally offer this but we will give 15% refund. I have been in conversation with them since last week regarding the quality of the dress. £45 for something that is see through and poorly made, there is no structure to the dress. I got told to order a bigger size as that’s the issue as to why it’s see through. They have now told me to send the dress back to china and I’ll the receive a 20% refund. Save your money and buy better quality from a proper uk company you will have better luck returning and getting a refund if it’s not right for you or something happens to it. They have emailed me to say that if I send it back to china for £30 I will receive my £45 refund but that will also take a few weeks to be back in my bank. Pleaseeeee save your money and buy else where

The dress looks nothing like the picture and took two weeks to arrive. I emailed for assistance with a return and they offered a 10% refund on a £45 dress I will never wear!! Terrible quality and customer service.

Do not buy from this company. Bought a dress which hadn’t been sewn properly. Got in touch with the company and was offered a 10% refund. Eventually was offered 20% and if I returned it I had to pay the shipping costs which was £20-£30

This company are awful, the returns is awful, they refuse to deal with you even when the product is faulty. They offer 10% refund and keep the item!!!! No good when its not sewn properly either... do NOT use them

Awful!!! Do not buy, ordered a dress it was nothing like the picture tried to return, kept ignoring my request to return offering me 10% then saying it will cost me £20-£30 to return, then when I finally got a return address after 30+ emails they aren’t based in London like their website suggests they are in-fact based in China

Absolutely awful experience. The outfit that arrived was a complete joke and looked nothing like the photos advertised. The quality is unbelievably poor—cheap material, terrible finish, and not something I would ever wear. It felt misleading from the moment I opened the package.

I contacted customer service expecting a full refund because the item was clearly not as described. Instead, they refused to give me a full refund and only offered me 10% back, while telling me to keep the item because returning it would cost too much. That’s not an acceptable solution when the product is so bad.

I feel like I wasted my money. The pictures on the website are very misleading, and the actual outfit is nowhere near the quality shown. I would not recommend buying from this company. Save your money and shop somewhere that stands behind the quality of its products.
