An epic and unforgettable adventure with Valhalla Travel, my tour with Valhalla Travel through the fjords was absolutely incredible

We have just come back from an around-the-world (RTW) trip that was organized through Valhalla Travel and we highly recommend Becky for her attention to detail, patience, and in-depth knowledge of locations. Time and time again she suggested wonderful activities that met or exceeded our needs and there was significant planning of over 500 tasks (excursions; flights, accommodation, etc). Over the last 6 years Becky has helped us organize trips to Morocco, Portugal, Italy, Greece and Bali. The itineraries were thoughtfully created especially for us, using a combination of accommodations, small group tours and day trips. All forms of transport were meticulously planned, car hire, train tickets, airline tickets and motor vehicle transfers all organized ahead of time. She managed our trips within our budget and when we got ourselves into a little pickle in Portugal she was immediately contactable on the phone even though it was in the middle of the night back in Australia... crisis averted! We are about to plan another trip to Mexico and South America and Becky at Valhalla travel is the only agent we would ever go to!

My daughter and I had a great holiday in Central America in January 2024. Becky made all of the bookings for flights, hotels and tours. She found a great selection of tours and hotels. We especially liked the resort at Punta Cana in the Dominican Republic.

Becky was very helpful with planning my holiday to Japan. Helped me with booking my accomodation, tours and the best route to take for my holiday. Was quick to reply when I was overseas when a tour got cancelled and helped with other possible tours to the same place. Would definitely use her services again

Becky gave me excellent travel advice, she was very proactive and always thinking ahead. Becky chose fantastic locations for hotels and apartments, which was a huge bonus for me in making the best use of my time. She was also very thoughtful about the travel scheduling to ensure that it was very easy travelling. I feel very spoiled to have had my 10 weeks of travel all planned out for me so well, I had an amazing trip with no hitches - but not only that, Becky’s thoughtful planning and her careful selection of local tours meant that I got much more out of my travel time than I would have otherwise.

Becky booked our family (3 adults and 1 teenager) holiday to Fiji including flights and accommodation and resort packages. Service was fantastic. She replied promptly and got us a great deal. This is the second time we have used Valhala Travel and we are very impressed with their professionalism. We highly recommend Becky and Valhalla travel for your next trip away.

Becky organised an amazing trip away for myself and 4 friends with 2 coming from Melbourne and 3 from the Gold Coast had us all meeting up in Dubai then travelling on to Turkey, Egypt and Jordan for a month.
She organised all flights, accommodation and tours and helped with necessary visas and travel insurance.

Becky provided excellent service in finding and booking flights for my European trip. And also in managing the bookings with three tour companies. She made sure all the bookings were correct, and when there seemed to be an flight disruption, promptly checked what was happening and advised me what to do. As I was travelling alone, it was fantastic to have this backup while I was away.

Once again Becky and Nick have been tremendous in assisting and booking our 2023 European holiday (as well as several other holidays/trips since first using their services for our 2019 European trip!). Their previous personal experience with Europe, combined with their extensive knowledge of hospitality providers within the tourism industry has been very valuable in ensuring we got the most of the 2-month timeframe we provided them! From flights, accommodation, activities, transfers, and private car rental – they can source out the best to meet our needs and value for money. Even with the 8-hour time difference, they were also swift to address any last-minute changes by the airline/hotel/tour provider – which means we don’t have to worry much as they are promptly sorting things out while we holidayed! We look forward to using Valhalla again for future holidays, and I recommend you also use them unless you feel like doing a lot more work than you need to! I’m only giving 5 Stars because 6 Stars is not an option.

After a lifetime of independent travel, I found that I needed support in the planning and implementation of my travel when I became a caregiver for my husband in 2010. My needs had changed. Travel plans for my respite breaks had to be kept short and Becky had the wisdom and experience to guide my choices. She also had the compassion and patience to adjust my plans to accord with my changing family circumstances.

Most importantly, Becky is a problem solver, as I found out when a tour operator cancelled my northern lights cruise four days before I flew out of Australia in November 2022. Becky spent days finding a successful resolution to that problem. I don’t know what I would have done if I’d done my own bookings.

Becky is a consumer advocate. She holds tour companies to their word. For example, I paid a single supplement for a tour in Croatia but found that I was consistently offered poor accommodation compared the couples on the tour. In brief, I’d paid more to get less. It’s difficult to deal with such matters on the road, so I contacted Becky, and she sorted the problem for me, securing better accommodation and a $600 discount on any subsequent tours with the operator should I choose to travel with them again.

Becky is personable, obliging and has a good sense of humour. Working with her is a fun and friendly experience. I strongly recommend turning to Becky and the staff at Valhalla Travel to facilitate the smooth operation of your travel plans

We had a few issues with the Qantas flight we were supposed to be booked on (the airline bumped us off the flight without warning), but Becky from Valhalla was on the phone and available straight away. Always helpful, willing to find a solution and customer focused. Kind Regards Konrad
