I needed a Windows 7 64 bit computer and these guys came to my rescue - they really pulled out all the stops to help me out and supplied me with just what I needed and even though it was a bit tricky they came through with a great computer for me and delivered it in perfect condition and working perfectly in good time.
Suffice to say that I thoroughly recommend them for all your computer needs and they are really helpful and friendly and at a good price.

When refurbished laptop arrived I charged it up and on opening and switching on the screen was completely black. Tried several switching on and off, waiting until fully charged etc but screen completely dead. Item was returned and just over a week later it has arrived back in exactly the same condition without any comment or note of what if anything is supposed to have been done. Screen still completely lifeless although the actual item is working, making noises, confirming it is connected to internet and receiving. It came back today, Saturday afternoon and no-one is available to take any phone calls etc so will just have to wait until Monday. Is this a scam?? Did it, will it ever work?? Over 100 pounds is not out of the ordinary for this model second hand / reconditioned so not super cheap. Not unreasonable to expect it to work initially but for the second time in exactly the same condition???!!! Avoid this firm and it's technicians.

I have bought refurbished laptops from Val U several times over the years and always been a good experience.

This time though even better , having bought two I found one had a very dodgy battery .. spoke with excellent friendly and knowledgable staff over the phone twice.

Both occasions great service .. within a day I had a replacement battery at no cost to me

Brought a Laptop in Amazon from this Seller. It was bought under Amazon Renewal which guarantees buyers they are entitled to a replacement or refund within one year of purchase. I returned the item after a few months requesting a refund. This Seller refused saying it's been over 30 days. I pointed out that it's under Amazon Guarantee and he gave me a less than excellent product.
Kept refusing, so I had to put a Amazon claim in. If it wasn't for Amazon stepping in I am sure I would of lost out.

We had a server outage today and tried loads of suppliers who all said they couldn't get drives until tomorrow. I knew James@Valucomputers from his previous role with another supplier and thought I'd give him a call as he was always excellent to work with and very knowledgable. Within 10 mins he called me back with two suppliers who could do same day delivery. We had 3 server hard drives delivered within a 2 hour window direct to our customer at the other end of the country. What an asset to your company and amazing service.

Ordered a Dell Latitude D630 with windows XP as I needed to run old 16 bit amateur radio programmes.
The laptop came beautifully packed and in like new condition together with back up CD and driver discs, also a fully functional mains power supply with charger.
Zips through my old programmes. It would be a shame to try to run windows 10 on this older machine if XP does all you need. internet but nothing needing secutiy, word processing if wished etc.
Definitely a 5 star experience.

What I ordered was just what you described, it arrived quickly within the time given, I am very pleased with it.
