memorable experience
I really enjoyed the US College Experience day. The event was well organised and everyone was really nice and friendly. I was quite suprised quite a lot of people came for different sports, showing that they're passionate about it. I did find it shocking I was the only person doing track and field hoping for at least 5 people doing it and also wished we were allowed to keep the t-shirt. Overall I really enjoyed as it let me see what it would look like as an international student athlete.

Regarding the number of athletes on the day, unfortunately we had late drop-outs on the day which we cannot control but we appreciate that this led to a sub-optimal experience and will take this feedback on for future events. As the Experience Days are free of charge, unfortunately we are not able to provide athletes with kit to take home. However, we'd be happy to send you one of our Varsity Nine apparel t-shirts as a gesture of goodwill! Had a great time during the combine…
Had a great time during the combine assessment. Although different to what I expected, still thought it was a great way to test physical strengths and find any potential weaknesses. The rugby session was definitely the highlight of the experience for me. Being able to show off skills and play with a wide range of new people was both really useful and entertaining.

The coaches were great in every aspect
The coaches were great in every aspect, providing great information about the event and an in depth analysis of the day, the activities in the event were challenging in a good way. Overall it was a very enjoyable experience and i hope to carry on with this programme

Worst than last year.
Planning and communication is so poor. Last year was run so well but since moving out of Milton Keynes it’s poor. Students allowed to have poor discipline. Coaches have their favourites and don’t treat everyone the same. Promises of what would be happening this season have still not been honoured.

Our decision to move locations was made with the best interests of our student-athletes in mind, ensuring they have access to high-quality facilities that support their development both on and off the pitch. We’ve received positive feedback from students and parents about the new location and remain committed to delivering the highest quality experience for all student athletes.
We take discipline and fairness very seriously, and our coaches are held to the highest standards to ensure that every student-athlete is treated equally and given the opportunity to develop. We do not condone favouritism and continuously monitor our coaching standards to ensure a positive and inclusive atmosphere for all.
We also recognise that effective planning and communication are key to ensuring a smooth and well-structured experience for both student-athletes and parents. Our staff are committed to ensuring that all students and parents receive the information they need in a timely and transparent manner.

My time in Australia

My experience on the varsity nine…
My experience on the varsity nine Australia trip was really really positive, I highly enjoyed it. It has taught me about life experiences, different standards of football and all in all taught me about different cultures. The staff were all polite and helpful at all times and provided a positive environment. The players were all welcoming and helped each other when needed and had a great time on our down time travelling the city and beaches. I couldn’t recommend this tour enough due to how positive it was for me and how well it went.
