Regarding your comments about the postage costs in your reveiew, we would like to point out that the £0.29p you mentioned for the postage cost is in fact 29g in weight.
Royal Mail do not offer any services or postage £0.29p.
Your order was sent out by Royal Mail Large Letter, 29 grams on a Tracked 48hr service which costs £3.35. We charge £3.75+vat (£4.50 inc vat) which covers the post charge, the packaging and the time involved to process you order. Hopefully this helps clarify the postsage charge for you so you will be aware of it for future purchases.

Started using VEUk after being let down constantly by a certain Grimsby firm BS. Hi Glenn, thank you for your review. We do all we can to help our customers in all aspects of their orders, including shipping.
I spoke with you on the phone before shipping your order to advise that our free shipping is for Mainland UK only. We try to be as transparent as possible, our website also states this on the shipping option as you go through the checkout. Sadly anywhere we ship to that's offshore, costs more than a normal next day parcel to Mainland UK.
This includes Northern Ireland, the Scottish Highlands and Islands, Isle of Man, Jersey & Guernsey. We have no control over this, all couriers and postal services charge more for items crossing the water.
You accepted the shipping quote when we spoke. As discussed in our call, The normal shipping cost for a parcel to Northern Ireland up to 10kg is £14.00 plus vat. I managed to arrange for your parcel to be sent by courier at a reduced price of £7.50 plus vat which I thought I had done well for you. Larger and higher-value items are shipped by courier as they are fully tracked and insured to the value of the order. Please bear this in mind should you choose to order with us again in the future. Excellent Professional Service
After being badly let down by another company who shall remain nameless (Okay - it was Beedspeed), I ordered the part I needed from VE UK. It arrived very quickly, was well packaged, exactly as described and at a very fair price. Customer service was excellent. I was so impressed, VE were my first port of call when I needed more parts a week later. I will definitely order from them in future and can't recommend their service highly enough.
