I ordered 3 dresses. They took nearly 3 weeks to arrive - too late for my holiday. They weren’t sent from London. This company is based in China so the London shop is a lie. The quality of the material is extremely poor. The worst quality I’ve ever bought. So bad that I agree with another review: “fit for the bin”. I asked for a full refund. They advised me that it would cost me 40 pounds to post to China so instead they negotiated a % of the total cost. I received 37.5% so I’ve wasted £70. Do not buy from this business. Instagram (Meta) should never allow them to advertise their products on their platform.

SCAM. Avoid at all costs. All the reviews here are true and the item I received was awful. I am accepting a partial refund from them...time will tell if it arrives. Please do avoid at all costs. The material on the dress I ordered was akin to a thick carrier bag. The sleeves were designed for a giraffe and overall an awful shapeless dress

I had a really disappointing experience with this company. My order took weeks to arrive with no tracking available, so I had pretty much given up on it ever turning up.

When it finally did arrive, the quality was extremely poor. The material felt very cheap and nothing like what was advertised.

I then looked into returning it, only to find out it has to be sent back to China at a cost of around $30, which is almost as much as the dress itself, and with no guarantee on how long the refund process will take.

Also worth noting, despite having “London” in the company name, this is clearly not a UK-based business.

Please take note of all the comments made about this website, its products, and its treatment of customers. A total scam, indeed fraudulent. Never been a London shop, who are the two women photographed supposedly in a London boutique, never been a London distribution outlet. Lots of apologetic emails when requested to return some of my purchase (now returning everything as can't possibly wear any of the dresses now fully appreciate their trading methods) but do not believe they are "sorry, empathetic, disappointed, feeling my frustration" or care a jot. Please beware and buy elsewhere.

I have just received the Collette dress and paid £49.95. The quality is appalling. The material is cheap and colours nothing like advertised. The dress is nothing like advertised. I am trying to get a refund. So disappointed

Everything that everyone else says about this brand is completely true. Velzara is SHAM and none of the items look anything like they did on Instagram/their website. My order did eventually arrive almost four weeks after I placed it, but I was expecting some lovely cotton dresses instead I received a bag of nylon rubbish. I have certainly learnt my lesson about falling for nice looking Instagram ads. Avoid at all costs.

I ordered a dress which looked lovely on their website.It arrived eventually and was horrible and awful material .Cannot get a refund unless I send it back to China .The company is called Velzara London so why can you not send it back to London .Will give me a 10% refund and I will just throw the dress away Do not go near the website .

it’s a scam and I wish I’d read Trust Pilot before ordering. Everything in the other comments is true. The material is cheap and nasty and I’ve been given a host of reasons why they may not return a full refund even if I pay a fortune to post it back.

Goods are of inferior quality and getting a refund is almost impossible. Although it’s called Velzara London any goods that you want to return have to be returned to CHINA and at the sender’s cost. This is tantamount to a scam and the company should be avoided at all costs.

If I was able to give no stars then I would. Wishy-washy colours, very thin fabric and not well made. Return process made extremely difficult and only advised how expensive it was to return and that it would take weeks to return to China, if indeed it managed to arrive safely. I will never order from this company again and I suggest you don’t either.

I wish I had read these first! Unfortunately I saw them after I had ordered, 3 dresses in a 3xl which cost £98. They have arrived and the fabric is lovely and the dresses I am sure will look great on but unfortunately the sizing is abysmal. A 3xl was supposedly a uk 18, I would suggest it is nearer a 12, can't even get the dresses over my head! So disappointed because the returns policy does not cover sizing and is at my cost. I am not prepared to waste more money 🙃 just AVOID!

Following on from my previous scathing review. This company will make returning their garbage products near impossible and will offer 10% refund! Avoid at all costs !!!!!

Ordered leather bag and received plastic bag instead material pu fake leather,not even what I ordered. Avoid this website .Shop isn't in London its im China.Too send the rubbish goods back costs 25 pound ..Avoid Avoid

Please do not use this company, the goods are inferior and you have to send back to China, goods then sent back, so on top of a £125 order, £35 spent to send back to China, loads of emails to try to get refund but no joy, absolute scam

This company is awful. In fact I don’t even think they exist.
I purchased items believing they were from the uk and in London as the website said UK based.
The items arrived- awful quality and not accurately sized.
Tried to return to be told I had to send to China-I had no choice as I had spent £150 and they were only willing to give me 10 percent back and keep the clothes- that there was no way I was ever going to wear! Then offered me 20 percent discount if I purchased with them again! It felt like I was speaking to a brick wall.
I spent £35 returning and thought that was it all dealt with.
A month later the money has still not been returned but the parcel is in China.
I follow it with parcel monkey- who have been great- to discover it is now stuck in Chinese customs as I presume the address they gave me was fake!
So I am now 185 out of pocket and am having to take this to the fraud team.

Wish I read the reviews before. This company is an absolute scam. Bought 1 dress, and they charged me for 2. Tried to cancel less than an hour after ordering, the £72 was already taken out of my account and they said it couldn’t be cancelled. I then had to spent £25 to post them back to China, 8 weeks later they’re saying they still haven’t recieved them even though it’s by Royal Mail tracked. Currently going through CAB, trading standards and small claims court to get my money back! DO NOT BUY FROM THEM!!!

Poor quality and awful refund process. This company is based in China but you can get easily fooled thinking it is in UK or following UK standards in customer care. The company offered 10% of original price (5 GBP) for refund and advised that returning the item to China will cost me 30 GBP. Please don't think you are dealing with a london based shop.

Please please please evyone try to avoid this seller , if you can call a seller. I order my goods 4 weeks ago, until now no parcel. Communication is rubbish,, keep sending me links to track my parcel, but nothings there. Final email it's more shocking from Evri company, stating can't locate my address.
Scamp , just go around.
