Hello, I am very sorry for the trouble and for the silence from our side. A number that never gets a text should refund itself, but clearly something went wrong. Send a quick note to support@veritel.io and mention this review. I will credit 5 dollars to your balance and check the failed attempt myself.

I confirm the bad reviews
I confirm the bad reviews: contrarily to what they claim, the numbers are not private and can be used for the same service by someone else.
Do not trust them.

Thank you for pointing this out. We do not resell numbers, yet carriers sometimes recycle them after a long gap. If you ever get a message saying an account already exists, forward it to support@veritel.io and we will replace or refund that purchase immediately. Let me know your username and I will add 5 dollars so you can test a brand-new line on us.

Can work or cannot work. (MUST READ)
1. It's a paid service, and you have a minimum deposit of $2.50.
2. I used a Germany gold star phone number to get a number to activate a google account for $1.88.
THE REST:
- It's a good site if you actually use the gold star countries, which actually work 90% of the time.
- The silver ones have a low chance of actually working, and the ones with no stars have basically 0 chance of working. (which they basically tell you on their site)
- You have 15 minutes to use a phone number for your chosen purpose. And if a number doesn't work, you can just get your money back into your Veritel account by clicking on the “x” next to the phone number after 2 minutes.
- For actual refunds though, once you deposit money you can't refund it as they don't respond to email (and support[at]veritel.io doesn't exist) or their chat on their own website.
- TOS, Privacy Policy and Legal links don't work because *cough* *cough* reasons.

DO NOT BUY HERE
DO NOT BUY HERE! They are scammers. The numbers are not private, multiple people using the same number. They are liars and don't provide refunds. STAY AWAY!

I understand why you feel that way. A number that fails to get a code should refund you automatically. If you were charged after a blank attempt, please email support@veritel.io with the order reference. I will process the refund myself, place 5 dollars in credit on your account, and investigate the recycled line so it does not happen twice.

Don’t use this service!!
Don’t use this service!!
There’s a good chance it won’t work for what you want (despite what the website says), and once you’ve paid, it’s apparently impossible to get your money back: I’ve emailed them, used their online chat — but they completely ghosted me.

Being ignored is the worst service experience and I am sorry we let you down. Numbers that stay blank should trigger a refund, but glitches do happen. Drop me a line at support@veritel.io with your ticket ID. I will reimburse you and add 5 dollars to your balance so you can try our services again!

We fixed that mail server error last year but you should not have hit a dead address. The correct inbox is support@veritel.io. Forward the bounce notice plus your order number and I will refund anything that failed, then add 5 dollars so you can try again under better conditions.

SCAM DO NOT BUY!
SCAM! This site doesn't work. The phone numbers don't work, and neither do the links for Terms of Service, Privacy, Policy, and Legal.
Also, I can't refund my money it's just pathetic.

Hi, thank you for pointing this out. We were likely testing a new layout that week and a few links slipped past our checks. They are all working again and the Quick Refund button is visible on every number in use. Your number also gets automatically refunded if it isn't used within the 15 minutes. If you still need your money back, email support@veritel.io with your order number. I will process the refund personally and add 5 dollars of credit so you can see the service working as it should.

Those strange characters mean the upstream service sent us a text that didn't match their usual format. That of-course isn't a reason for you to lose your credit, it is our fault.
We now use AI for "other" services, so you can rest assured you wont experience the same issue again.
Please email support@veritel.io with the message details and I will reimburse you and place 5 dollars on your balance for a clean retry. Thanks for flagging the bug and sorry for the late response.

We failed twice here, once on the text and once on the response. I am truly sorry. Send the order info to support@veritel.io and I will refund it and add 5 dollars to your wallet. If a recycled number ever slips through again we will replace it on the spot.

You deserved a prompt answer months ago and I regret the delay. If none of the numbers produced a text you should not have been billed. If you were, email support@veritel.io and I will fix it. I will also add 5 dollars so you can test a fresh batch free of risk. Your feedback helps us tighten our screening of recycled lines.

DO NOT BUY FOR ANY REASON
I have tried for the last 2 hours, but every possible number doesn't work at all. I have tried over and over again but it's clearly useless. This made me question whether the service is legitimate. So I bought another number, and used my own personal phone to send a message to it and it couldn't even recieve my message. Lastly, there's not even an option to refund the money or even anywhere that talks about getting your money ANYWHERE in the site. You are genuinely better off going to a shop, buying a new pay as you go sim and recieve the messages there, never mind, anything is better because this service doesn't even work at all.
TL:DR Phone numbers don't work, and you can't even recieve messages if you want to.

I understand the frustration. Our numbers can be refunded after 2 minutes if no text arrives, but that clearly failed for you. Email us at support@veritel.io with your order numbers. I will return every cent and add 5 dollars so you can see the service under normal conditions, or simply close the account if you prefer. Either way you will not be left out of pocket.
I also want to point out that sending a message from your personal number will NOT work. We filter all inbound sms to ensure it is only used for the service paid for. The number would have received your sms, but we would not have shown it on the dashboard.

A simple solution for solopreneurs.
Starting a business with limited resources is hard. Really hard. Especially by signing up on platforms that require a US number. Veritel just solved that. I was skeptical at first because I'm not used to this kind of tool. But the Dany (Support) guided me through the setup.
Sounds cheesy but this tool helped me a lot. Hope this gets big!

Hey Chris, thanks for the kind words! We're glad you're liking the service.
Credibility due to Stripe
Much better than other companies I've tried. I’ve had a higher success rate here and it’s easy to deposit credit because they use Stripe. The other sites always use unheard-of platforms to take my money.

Services work as expected
Found this site from reddit. I would give it 4.5 stars just because sometimes I need to order 2-3 numbers for one to work, though you get a full refund automatically for what doesnt work.
