New Mini Purchase
We bought a new Mini from Vertu Exeter. Charlotte, the sales person, was excellent - she answered all our questions, guided us through the options and was never pushy. Very knowledgeable and friendly. The handover was also very good - she went through all the important features and gave us plenty of time to absorb the information. This is our fourth Mini and we have been very pleased with all of them.

Make sure you shop around
Very disappointing, we have bought 2 MINIs from Vertu Exeter in the last 4 years. We went to look for another and got told we were £2000 in negative equity plus were told MINI was now becoming a premium product so it is expensive as if we could then not afford one ! We then went to another MINI dealership in Plymouth and had £500 equity in the car so we have bought a new MINI from the Plymouth dealership. Wish I had gone to them first so always pays to shoparound….

I had an outstanding experience purchasing my Approved Used MINI from Vertu MINI Marsh Barton. I had been searching for a red MINI with white bonnet stripes for quite some time, so I was thrilled when I found exactly what I was looking for at Marsh Barton. It also had a full MINI service history, the option to extend the warranty from one year to three years for extra peace of mind, and an affordable MINI service plan to help keep that full service history going.
From the very beginning, Myers was fantastic. He was friendly, knowledgeable and genuinely enthusiastic, making the whole process feel relaxed and enjoyable. We were part exchanging my old Toyota RAV4, a car I was very attached to. A number of other dealerships had been dismissive because of its age, but Myers treated both me and the car with complete respect and professionalism, which meant a great deal to me.
Communication throughout was excellent. Myers even sent us a personalised video explaining the next steps, and within a matter of days we were collecting the car. The handover was a wonderful experience. My MINI was waiting under a reveal cover for me to unveil, and there was even a personalised plaque with my name on it. It made collecting the car feel genuinely special.
The MINI itself is absolutely beautiful and I love driving it. It has everything I wanted, including Apple CarPlay, and every journey reminds me why I chose it. I work alongside lots of doctors and nurses in the community, and cars are always a topic of conversation. I’ve already recommended two colleagues who are looking for a new car to go and see Myers at Vertu MINI Marsh Barton.
I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Myers and the whole team. The service was first class from beginning to end, and although I hope to enjoy my MINI for many years to come, I know exactly where I’ll be going when it’s eventually time for my next one.

Poor Customer Service
My Mini went in for its first service with Vertu on 29 July. All went okay until it was time to pick up the vehicle. After checking in I was left to wait for nearly 30 minutes before anyone saw me, for what should be a super-quick process, i.e. check the paperwork, make the payment, collect the keys. The person who was dealing with me simply disappeared from their desk and there was no one on the main desk to ask. To be fair, apologies were made and I was eventually seen to but (and here's why I'm writing a review on TrustPilot) I was asked not to say anything negative in the feedback form, a form that I was never sent to fill in. So here we are: two stars on TrustPilot.
