I understand that this is partly my…
I understand that this is partly my fault, as it was my first time having an MOT and service done this way. My car was collected from my home, and about an hour later I received a call saying that repairs were needed.
I was then told the cost would be £1,700. When I said that was too expensive, I was immediately offered a payment plan instead of a clear explanation of the work. Shortly after, I was told the total had actually increased to £2,130 because the service had not been included initially.
I was not clearly informed whether these repairs were necessary for the car to pass the MOT, and I also wasn’t asked about my existing warranty, which could have covered some of the costs.
Overall, this felt like a very opportunistic approach, focused on getting as much money as possible from the customer rather than providing transparent and honest service.
For this reason, I am giving a zero-star rating.

We found the car we where looking for and they made the experience good and where not pushy. There was no problem to small for them to sort out, The manager was very helpful and the sales man kysar was very helpful in keeping us informed.

Excellent Service
Dan was brilliant from start to finish. He offered me a test drive and went through all the information very clearly. I felt like he listened to what I needed and my budget and gave me good advice. I am very happy with the car I have purchased.

Friendly and didn't what they promised
The sales team were friendly, knew their stuff and didn't try to sell us products we didn't want. They found us the car we wanted in Darlington (300 miles away) and delivered it down south at no cost in perfect condition. Would soundly recommend them.

Great experience
Bought a car through Vertu Peugeot Oxford with Daniel Whiting in September. He helped us with a second-hand car purchase and was very knowledgable, friendly, and efficient.
We identified a small issue with the gear stick after purchase and Daniel didn't hesitate to get us booked in the following week to get it sorted for free through their in house garage. Since then it has performed well with no issues.
The service here is fantastic, the prices are competitive, and we will certainly be back in the future.

Vertu motor Oxford, absolutely terrible. This is the worse garage I have ever known. Customer services is appalling and absolutely no care for customers at any point.

Good morning John
I am sorry for how you have felt through your process of getting your car fixed through us.
As it was a recovery we didn’t have time planned in the diary for your car so we fitted it in around our already pre-booked customers.
The vehicle come in due to a non start. Being a 2018 plate we carried out as many tests as time would allow to find it was a snapped timing chain. We did explain the part for this car was on back order with no available date from Peugeot.
Once the part arrived we fitted it withing 8 hours. When we had completed the work we then found compression issues with the injectors. This was unseen from not being able to start the car when it arrived.
As a good will and no cost to yourself we filled the cylinders to get the car mobile so you were able to take to we buy any car. We did explain this issue however, you declined all additional work including safety related repairs.
We do try and exceed customer expectations with everything we do. Once again I apologise this was not the case with your interaction with us.

Every member of staff I spoke to was super helpful. The sales person I dealt with was Sherazad. He was so patient and professional. The process of buying a car was very simple, with a lot of the paperwork being done electronically on the mobile phone. I was very impressed.
