Found our experience very smooth from start to finish especially with the help of the lovely Anthony who was an absolute star, he explained everything thoroughly and was very knowledgeable when it came to showing us all the technology in the car, overall was a great experience and we’re thrilled with our DS7 would highly recommend the Vertu at Crewe and a massive thankyou to Anthony.

I have recently just purchased a used car from Bristol street and was assisted by Anthony McIntyre at the Macon way site in Crewe. The car is at a brilliant standard and I found Anthony really patient and accommodating to our needs. Anthony showed us he had a lot of experience in selling cars and was open and honest with us at all times and used his expertise to find us the best suited car for our family.
Since making the purchase Anthony has remained really helpful and made regular contact with us to ensure we are satisfied.

Great sales process, some niggles with post sales but generally good.
UPDATE that the brake pad problem is being resolved. Battery issues remain.
Vertu Crewe sold me an MG with warranty in September 2025, the car was 2 years old.
The battery first drained in October 2023, 30 days after purchase. Frustrating phone call after phone call to Vertu Crewe, AA call-outs and AA refusal to tow to an MG Vertu in Beaconsfield meant I had to jump start, drive on a totally dead battery 1.5 hrs round the M25, only for MG Beaconsfield to replace the battery with a terrible quality battery which died in Feb 2026.
New, large battery fitted by the RAC died in June 2026. Paid £250 myself for a new one. It clearly is a parasitic draw problem. Nobody wants to investigate. I put that on MG, however, not Vertu.
NOW BEING RESOLVED thanks to Vertu Crewe: New problem presented in July 2026: was buying the car with incorrectly fitted brake pads.
Vertu has a lot of confusing service options, but other than that, once you find the right person to talk to, generally helpful despite ongoing issues. Vertu have proved helpful on getting this looked into and fixed.

Staff need to be honest not go back on there word. Told with the deal you get a full tank of fuel ( lie ). Told you get 12 months warranty got 3 months

Rusty doors in less than 3 years!!! Unacceptable
Not even had the van for 3 years, yet it already has rust on both the drivers door & the passenger door. Took it into Vertu Crewe to be told yes it’s covered under the warranty but we won’t pay to have the sign writing put back on?! How can you justify asking us to pay to have the sign writing put back on, through no fault of our own?! We didn’t know the van would rust in less than 3 years! That’s clearly bad workmanship/manufacturing. Completely unhelpful warranty department & after contacting head office, was told pretty much the same thing, despite me asking for a repair rather than a replacement door. As repairing the door would mean the sign writing wouldn’t need to be put back on, no customer service or negotiation for resolving the issue, pretty much ‘it is what it is, take what we offer or forget it’ wouldn’t recommend this garage or Vauxhall to anyone if this is how they deal with you after a sale!

Ben rang me up for a review on my…
Ben rang me up for a review on my current car, I went in on Tuesday and met with Ben. He was welcoming and talked me through the different options available. I looked at the Astra and took it for a test drive, loved the car but it's out of my reach at the moment. Instead I looked to upgrade my Mokka, Jeff found a good deal for a better Mokka however my heart is set on the Astra so I decided to wait until I can get this car. Jeff and Ben, can't thank you enough for all your help and understanding.

I had a great experience whilst buying…
I had a great experience whilst buying my new car. We were greeted warmly from the first visit, shown all options and not pressured. Anthony was very informative and helpful. Great service also from Geoff. Highly recommend these guys if you’re in the market for a new car. I’m not normally very good with dealing with people but they made it really easy and I felt at ease.
