Camera worked great for the first six months. After that constant problems with going offline. They didn’t even respond when I asked for a replacement.

Unable to add base station. Followed instructions, it took my base station offline. Had to delete and then add it back.

Not a good camera system combined with video abilities.
Very slow?/no to respond to pressing bell button, not sensing presence of someone, not alerting till person has been and gone. Very delayed alert /notifications .

Wish I could give them 0 stars!!! The camera stopped working after only 6 months and trying to deal with the customer service is pointless. They won't replace the junk camera that stopped working. Don't waste your money on their junk cameras!!!

Google Vico Home Smart tried to charge $216.37 on my debit card, for services that I did not ordered. Thankfully, my bank saw this as a fraud charge and did not pay it.

Junk. Among many other issues (the app is atrocious), it is next to impossible to set up sharing. It denies good credit cards. On one attempt to set up sharing with my wife it did accept a card and then my bank contacted us to report fraud (we were charged by some place called "Sportsbowl" - and sharing is supposedly free in any case). This will probably end up in the trash.

This now has been trashed. Their Customer Service Department was unresponsive. STAY AWAY from VicoHome if you are installing a camera bird feeder. This is by far the worst experience I have ever had online - and judging from other comments I am far from alone.

Battery failed on my outdoor solar camera. Vico doesn't even carry replacement batteries. That means it is just a worthless piece of junk. All they could say is I'm sorry. $70 camera to the trash.

I have a lot of missed activity. The cameras lag bad. Plus you pay $4.99 a month for cloud storage, but that is only for one camera. The more cameras you have, the more you are going to pay.

Camera did not work. App is confusing. Canceled script 2 weeks into trial via the app on chat (because there's no phone number to call). Then 2 weeks later my bank account is charged for a full YEAR of service! I had already Uninstaller app. Had to install again just to go through the cancelation process again. This time I screenshot the conversation.

I brought two cameras in August worst thing I could have done—the first day I started having trouble with one of them wouldn’t come on—But the other one was working fine so two days go by I tried it again and it started working well for about 10 minutes— so I emailed the support team all they did was tell me to try this try that and let them know—so I did still didn’t work so I let them know and they said try this one last thing and if this doesn’t work we will give you your refund—well didn’t work didn’t get know refund and now the other one doesn’t work-they both won’t come on and the thing is I paid I think my wife paid $94:$96 for the year September 11 for a year(wow go figure) I mean they were really pleasant nice when I emailed them but nothing—really up set really up set about all what happened—if you want good cameras and I hate to say this because I’m not like them who you will never see don’t get these because there terrible

For 3 months I've been attempting to get the camera (given to me on Christmas, 2024) fixed. It will not charge. Customer service (?) and I just keep going in circles. The camera will not charge. Other than that it seems to be working. But for how long? These reviews resemble my experience.

I purchased two cameras in January of 2025 and purchased a Vicohome monitoring year long subscription. By May, one camera wasn't working. When I asked for Vicohome's help, I was told to "rebind" them. I did what they said. The inoperative camera still did not work and then both cameras were no longer attached to the subscription. I tried for weeks to get help or a refund but was absolutely ghosted by Vicohome's customer service. I am very disappointed in Vicohome's not standing behind their product. Stay away from this company,

Bird feeder camera, worked fine until I had to change my broadband password. Impossible to read the barcode and impossible to dismantle the birdfeeder. According to the user guide you can reset the password without using the QRcode scanner, but it doesn't tell you how! been emailing Vico for two weeks - " We have received your feedback and registered it as a ticket (ID: 1973512). Our support team is currently reviewing your concerns and will follow up with you as soon as possible...... We value your input and are here to assist. What a joke!!!

This app. is crap. The vicohome security camera app. First of all it only records what it wants to when it wants to and shuts off in 15 seconds.
Besides that it notifies you of vehicles leaving even when no vehicles have moved for 3 days. I get at least 99 notifications every day and at least 90 of them are wrong. I have contacted customer service 100s of times to correct these issues and they do absolutely nothing.
They tell you to do exactly what you've been doing since day 1 and nothing ever changes. It is garbage!! NO worse then garbage it's sewage. It has referred to me as a vehicle leaving it has sent me notifications at 2, 3 and 4 AM telling me someone is wandering around my property. Which is scary as hell the first 50 times. But now I don't pay any attention to it because it's ALWAYS WRONG. And for 59.99 annually you would expect it to be right once in a while.
*Do yourself a favor and don't download this unless you are wanting to pay for something you won't get. You will only get frustrated and have no peace of mind. Save your 59.99 and download a different app. Cause this one is sewage.

Does not record everything. Absolutely no customer service.

The camera does not record porcupine or cat activity at night.

Got this as gift last spring. Worked for the summer season. Attempted to setup this spring for the hummers!! Won’t connect battery dead. Keep emailing tech support. It’s a joke. Keep telling me to redo what their emails continually say. Won’t resound to when I say need to replace it. Don’t buy waste of money mkney

Camera is a waste of time and money. Doesn't connect half the time, misses major movement right in front of it and the app is awful. Buy something different as these cameras just aren't worth all the hassle.

Good camera, until you need service. My camera was vandalized, Spent 3 days trying to cancel service. No one to talk to. Finally a website to chat with. A waste of time. Asked questions I could not answer.
