Really Well Designed Wall Mounting

We are UK based. I purchased the Vidabox 'On Wall Slim Mount' to house a ipad mini using the POE+ connection option.
I have it wired to a network switch and the ipad acts as a home hub for a wide range of items. Using the POE+ means that the ipad is powered whilst in the wall unit and also means I can connect to the items such as our Reolink doorbell or security cameras. Then the ipad also has access to apps (music, heating etc) through wifi, turning the ipad into a real smart home solution.
The Vidabox unit was simple to install and fits directly onto the wall with no gap. You do need to ensure there is enough space behind the unit to fit the power box provided, but it's the same box used for a light switch and therefore really straightforward.
The ipad is connected to the power and slots into the back section of the frame. The fascia clips onto the front to provide a really sleek looking item. Highly recommend the Vidabox item and the POE+ route for connecting to tech.

Vorsicht bei Rückversand

Die Bestellte Wandhalterung wurde wie Bestellt und gut Verpackt geliefert.
Was gar nicht geht sind die Rücksendebedingungen.
Das Unternehmen wirbt auf der Homepage mit Texten wie:
"Easy Exchange Policy" und "30-Day Money Back Guarantee". Was man aber wissen sollte ist, dass das Paket zwar von einer deutschen Versandadresse geliefert wird, ein Rückversand aber nur in die USA akzeptiert wird. In meinem Fall handelt es sich um eine Wandhalterung im Wert von 69,99€ +Versand. Diese ist noch in Folie original verschweißt. Ich würde diese gerne zurückschicken, da die Oberfläche des Materials nicht wirklich meinen Vorstellungen entspricht. Nach mehreren versuchen mit der Firma überein zu kommen steht nun fest, dass ich das Produkt zwar zurück geben kann und auch das Geld wieder bekomme, aber nur dann, wenn ich das Produkt an eine Adresse in der USA versichert verschicke. Dieser Rückversand kostet rund 50€. Was nahezu der Wert des Produktes ist. Von daher solltet man sehr vorsichtig sein was man Bestellt.
