This site is a scam. As mentioned by one of the reviewers, when I was in the goodreads page, Vodsync came up and among other detailsasked my my credit card details. I felt suspicious and searched about them and I am glad that I did and found them to be scammers. I am not sure how they got in to Goodreads author claim page? I have also informed Goodreads.

Scam company that embeds links users mistake for the link they are looking for. Creates a subscription on your card and no apparent way to cancel.

My wife was working on a short trial subscription to the Dallas Morning News when the website shifted the payment application to vodsync.com. The DMN apparently is embarassed that this happened, and is refusing to communicate further on the matter. Our credit card company (USAA) immediately suspended our account believing this low reliability service had scammed us already.

I had written a book of fiction and went to place it on Goodreads ( a book website) but during the process of doing so - found myself directed to Vodsync who asked for my credit card information. Initially I gave it - then became suspicious and cancelled my entry + put a hold on my credit card. I was pleased to find these other bad reviews on Trust pilot to be reassured that Vodsync is not to be trusted. How I got to them from Goodreads is a mystery to me? Any future reviewers of Vodsync - let me know via this site please!

VODSYNC are scammers but I was in the middle of signing up for Easy Park, which is apparently a 5 star company, when my application changed to VODSYNC!
This is how the scammers got me! Beware!

I have never joined this website however a popup appears on my screen which I am unable to delete. Please help

Ich habe mich bei OneFootball.com registriert, dort war dann ein Button von vodsync.com, ich dachte, über vodsync läuft die Bezahlung. Ich habe mich bei vodsync.com registriert und meine Kreditkartendaten eingegeben. Es kam nicht wie dort geschrieben eine Bestätigungsmail, auch nicht im Mail-Spam Ordner. Auf der Internetseite von vodsync steht ganz unten, nach 5 Tagen werden Euro 59,99 abgebucht. Ich wollte den 5-Tages Trial Account kündigen, geht jedoch nicht, da ich mich nicht einloggen kann. Die Kündigung an die E-Mail info ät vodsync.com geht nicht, da diese Adresse nicht existiert, obwohl diese ganz unten auf der Internetseite steht. Ich habe dann umgehend bei meinem Kreditkartenanbieter die Karte sperren lassen. Tja, jetzt kostet mich eine neue Kreditkarte Euro 5,50 für solch einen unseriösen Mist

I had previously received emails from vodsync.com stating my subscription was due. I had never subscribed to such garbage and tagged all of their emails as Scams. Then this Dec. I received an SMS from my CC provider stating suspicious activity on my card 59.99USD to "vodallhere" Essex GB. I reported this as an unauthorised transaction, and subsequently had to cancel my credit card (which you know is such a pain in the arse too reestablish genuine transaction).
This Fraud is by Vodsync.com or hp.vodsync.com or hp.vigilpc.com, they are all linked in some way. I could not get to any support page as links were broken or you had to subscribe. There was no unsubscribe link facility as provided by legit sites. I have never subscribed to this Vodsync garbage site and don't know how they got my email address and CC details.

My dad received an e-mail from hp.vodsync.com claiming that his free trial was about to expire and to click on a link to cancel it.

The link asked for his payment info, which he provided. Now we blocked the card pre-emptively.

Immediately I realised I had been scammed, I emailed
them, this duly was returned to me within minutes saying Mail Delivery Failed, or something like that. The email states you can cancel your subscription anytime but this obviously isn’t the case as today they have taken £50.09 from my credit card.😡 . The got round this by saying if you don’t cancel your subscription (which I wasn’t aware I had subscribed to) your card would be charged with £59.99 per month!! Their email also said the charge to my credit card would read “hp.vodsync.com” when in face it’s appearing on my account as “digifunhub44808175.
I’m so angry at myself for getting caught out but I’m even angrier at these scammers! My card company has noted that no more payments are to come off my card and I’m hoping I get the £50.09 refunded. More stress has followed when speaking to the very helpful Credit Card Fraud employee, she said to continue watching my card statement as these “merchants” have been known to change their name and still try to steal from people’s accounts.

100% rotten, me a retired person on limited means, has had taken from me a weeks food money May you rot with the devil.

Troede jeg skulle abbonere på en sprogordbog og så havde jeg pludselig tilknyttet mit kort til dette firma i stedet og kunne ikke komme ud af det eller i kontakt med dem, når man skrev sit navn for at afmelde abbonementet sagde den bare at man havde skrevet forkert navn. Har straks spærret mit kort, håber det er nok for at komme ud af kløerne på dem igen.

I'd never heard of Vodsync until just now - so I googled it, I discovered quickly through Trust Pilot, considerable evidence of VodSync being a fraudulent scam, another 'subscription' website.
Today's email from Vodsync, advised me of an [unauthorised] credit card (cc) payment of 59.99EUR one week ago, with subsequent payments to be made on 24th monthly. I contacted my cc organisation, they already had Vodsync on their 'bad guy' records.
Their advice to me was to reply to today's email requesting reimbursement of my 59.99EUR; they also stopped Vodsync from taking further payments from my cc account.

Fupfirma.. gik i en butik i lufthavnen. Ville købe en trøje og betale via en app og pludselig havde jeg betalt til dette. Aner ikke hvad det er men spærre mit kort. De burde politianmelde 449 kr. Føj

Totalt snyd, var i tidsnød ved parkering foran Skejby Hospital og scannede en QR-kode. Og i løbet kort tid havde jeg betalt 550 kr. ! Skyndte mig at spærre mit kort.

Scannede en Qr-kode i Gina Tricot for at blive medlem og betale gennem medlemsklubben, min ven som havde telefonen imens jeg prøvede tøj opdagede ikke at han var kommet ind på Vodsync og godkendte betalingen på de 59€, da han ikke havde set hvad prisen var men blot troede det var en del af det jeg købte.
Gina Tricot ville pille alle deres Qr-koder ned da det åbenbart er noget der er i omløb

Oplevede i dag da jeg skulle parkere i Burg at ved download af betalings app Pay by Phone, skiftede det lige pludseligt til Vodsync som indkasserede 59 euros, uden mulighed for at stoppe det eller kl talte dem. Ren bedrageri

Jeg dummede mig også, da jeg skulle scanne en qr kode på en ladestander..... De har dog ikke trukket penge endnu, men når de gør laver jeg en indsigelse i min bank. Det er noget svineri.
