Very poor fake scam should be shut down. Waste of time and energy dealing with fake scams. Bogus product no delivery fake delivery setup and dishonest staff writing emails with fake tracking numbers. Avoid this business.

The recent updates to this video hosting have solved most of the problems seen in previous reviews. Also, the added functionality like in-player interactivity is fantastic and not available in any competitors that I'm aware of. Anyone who gave this less than five-stars should come back and check it out now!

Used it - Great product created. Better than Wistia and other platforms I've used previously.

UPDATE (March 2026): I am happy to report that Voomly has completely resolved the issues mentioned below. After sharing my experience, their team reached out to me personally. They were incredibly empathetic, acknowledged the initial breakdown in communication, and issued the refund I had requested.

It is clear to me now that they value customer satisfaction more than I originally thought. I’m retracting my "scam" label—Voomly proved they are a legitimate business willing to make things right for their users

Voomly.com, a purported online service offering promising features and tools, turned out to be a nightmarish experience. It's crucial to share my ordeal to alert potential users and prevent them from falling into the same trap.

Unwanted Upselling:
My journey with Voomly.com began with an enticing offer that lured me into signing up. However, it quickly became apparent that their primary goal was relentless upselling. They continuously pushed additional features and packages, making it impossible to enjoy the service without feeling like a cash cow. It's frustrating to be trapped in a never-ending cycle of upgrades when all you want is the product you initially signed up for.

Deceptive Refund Policy:
When I initially signed up, a significant amount, ranging from $250 to $300, was deducted from my credit card. Voomly.com mentioned a 30-day refund policy, but life got busy, and I couldn't find time to evaluate their service within this timeframe. After four months, I realized that the service was not suitable for my needs and decided to request a refund.

Abysmal Customer Service:
I reached out to their customer support, explaining my circumstances and politely requesting a refund. To my dismay, the response was swift and discouraging: "Not possible." This utter lack of empathy and unwillingness to consider individual situations was appalling. I even offered to accept a partial refund, willing to forfeit up to 10% as a penalty for not adhering to the initial 30-day refund window. But my pleas fell on deaf ears.

A Widespread Problem:
I soon discovered that I was not alone in my misery. A quick search of reviews exposed a slew of customers who had faced similar ordeals with Voomly.com. Their blatant disregard for customer satisfaction and the sheer number of complaints raised serious concerns.

In conclusion, Voomly.com appears to be nothing more than a scam. Their deceptive practices, relentless upselling, and dreadful customer service make it a business to avoid at all costs. I implore you to read reviews and do thorough research before making any decisions related to Voomly.com or any similar services. I feel scammed. Easy to sign-up and use free trial and money gets deducted after 14th day. That's where hardship starts. I tried canceling subscription, didn't work. I was redirected to 3 websites. And it still didn't work. They keep dummy "cancel subscription" buttons that do not work.

No refunds whatsoever. False advertising and aggressive upselling and hidden profiles make the whole thing look like a scam product.

It's mind-boggling the lengths some of these online service providers can go to defraud people.

SCAM!!! They refuse to cancel my membership

Voomly refuse me to cancel my account. They blocked me on Facebook and Messanger. I have a video showing how their system refuse me to cancel my account or downgrade it. And now they refuse me a refund.

It's a damn scam, don't buy it or use it, the product is ok, but it offers a lot and gives little in return. Their billing practices are abusive because even though you cancel your subscription and delete your card, they continue to charge you and the charges continue to arrive on the card.

So this is interesting. I actually use several of their products, doodly, toonly, and people builder. The products are ok, but what I can't stand about the company is their billing practices. For example. On doodly, they only charge $69 for the program with a lifetime license. Not bad? until you try to check out and they start pushing hard for 'upgrades' such as adding more people or adding color to the program. Each and every upgrade is an additional $69 more. The built in packs are limited, and every additional pack is, you guessed it, another $69 or so. if that was not bad enough, when I purchase another product called 'people builder' (decent for what it does), they force you to a trial of voomly cloud. You cannot buy this product without getting the trial. The trial then automatically converts to $50/per month on something I never wanted. Now, I remembered (at the last minute, since voomly will not remind you) that I needed to cancel that trial, but the company is counting on your not reading the fine print and charging you for a product I didn't want, that was forced upon me. These are very deceptive business practices that I have never appreciated. So although the product themselves are decent (although more limited than they claim, and if you want full functionality, you will have to pay several times what the 'amazing' price is) the way they try to nickel and dime you and force you into products you don't want, although not illegal, is highly negative. I don't recommend this company, even though I use their products... How sad is that.

I had very high expectations regarding voomly, unfortunately its very poor at tracking users events so its far away from being an goto in the marketingspace - found a way better solution then voomly. Second thing wich is unnecessary is that you have to upload the same video (which takes way too long) for every player you create again and again (for a/b testing) instead of simply duplicate the video inside the dashboard. But the reason that really turned me off was how they treat their own customers: I wanted to cancel voomly by clicking the cancel button in the dashboard you get redirected (remember after clicking CANCLE) you get redirect to a page that offers thousands new plans - it even sais upgrade plan in the url so I thought the Button is linked wrong. These Guys know exactly how important message-match is (reasuring that you are on the right path to cancel) they confuse people on purpose. Contacted the support via a very very poor chat messenger calling for help with cancelation and explained the issue with the button. The only thing I got back where automated emails calling me Hello Kontakt - because my email starts with kontakt@.....com. No cancelation took place, I just got charged again and decided to do a screenrecording of the whole thing trying to cancel when I realized at the very bottom left very subtil and in light grey they have something a box saying downgrade, clicked on it, now I am redirected to a second profile manager with a next "security layer" where I could finally stop the plan. They do everything to make it hard for you to get out, and charge you another month. I definitely know what such people are to me. You always get in easy but its hard to get out. That sais alot about the company (poor mindset) and how they view their customers - they just want your money thats all. Zero Stars!!!

Voomly is advertised as a platform for selling and providing online courses. It's affordable if you find a lifetime deal (enterprise) -Standard is cheaper but limited. The software is mostly easy to use and the video quality is good, but it's when you get into student content detail that problems arise. 'Interactive' and 'Chapter' videos are just sales funnels repurposed and cannot be used directly in course material without strange workaround. The certificate function is primitive and barely works. This online software has all the hallmarks of video hosting and selling software re-purposed for a learning platform and sadly it doesn't yet live up to the marketing claims.
