Waggle is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to saving pets’ lives. Our crowdfunding platform serves as a trusted safety net for pet guardians and animal welfare organizations who need help funding essential veterinary treatment. We believe money should never stand between pets and their right to live long and healthy lives. Every year, however, more than a million companion animals are euthanized purely for financial reasons. Waggle’s mission is to significantly reduce this practice, which is referred to in the veterinary profession as economic euthanasia. To ensure every dollar raised supports this mission, Waggle’s platform is 100% donor-secure; we only ever transfer funds directly to veterinarians or certified 501(c)(3) organizations. By reducing economic euthanasia, we not only give at-risk animals a second chance; we ease the financial burden on veterinary practices, rescue organizations, animal control agencies, and community-based social service organizations. Waggle works in partnership with the public, animal welfare organizations, veterinary providers, media, and brands to raise critical funding and awareness. At the heart of our work are individuals facing impossible choices, and donors who step in to help when it matters most. Waggle exists to make those moments transparent, trustworthy, and life-saving.

Waggle makes it easy to do a hard thing - save pets that might otherwise be lost. As a lifetime dog advocate and ally, I worry about all those I can't adopt or help. Waggle's user-friendly systems engage me and involve me in ways that are reassuring and appropriate.

Very confusing about how to get payment…
Very confusing about how to get payment to vet. Also frustrating that there is a processing fee to send the vet a paper check because my vet does not give out bank information in order to set up the e-payment.

Difficult & Frustrating
It was very frustrating & difficult not being able to call someone directly & most vets dont know about waggle & lack of trust was a significant barrier/difficulty. I ended up starting a gofundme for molly, which was significantly easier to manage.
It was an interesting experience and I don’t think I will be working with waggle ever again.
Getting the payment to the back was extremely painful in a long process. It’s just not been program for me.

Because Waggle sends funds directly to veterinary hospitals, there are a few additional steps involved, such as confirming the hospital and receiving an invoice before payments can be issued. These safeguards help ensure that donations are used specifically for a pet’s medical care and help protect both donors and the animals the funds are meant to help.
We understand that some veterinary teams may not be familiar with Waggle at first, and we’re always happy to speak with clinics to explain how the process works and answer any questions they may have. We truly appreciate your feedback about the experience, as it helps us continue improving the platform.

Great with some room for improvements!
Waggle is a credible organization that can help you raise money for a pet in need. Setting up the page was easy, and all went well until it was time to transfer the donated money. Transferring the funds was time-consuming and required considerable patience. In the end, it took about 2 months from when I ended the campaign to when our vet could use the donated money. Email communications are answered quickly and professionally.

Waggle is a great organization
My dog Goose went to the vet for his regular check-up. When the vet looked under his upper lip, she found a growth about the size of a jawbreaker! She removed it and sent it in for examination. It came back malignant! X-rays showed another large growth in Goose's abdomen. Goose had surgery at Purdue University a week or so later. The larger growth was not malignant. The total bill was around 10,000 dollars. I've been a supporter of Waggle for years, so I contacted them for help. It took awhile, but Waggle came through! They covered 2000 dollars of Goose' bill. Part of the money was refunded on the credit card that I'd used to pay things off.

Great way to raise funds for your pet
Great way to raise funds for your pet. Easy to follow instructions and my vet got the funds in a timely matter. I love how they pay your vet directly. It helps others to feel secure in knowing where their donations are going. I will definitely use this again if I need to and support other pets in need on the site.
