The bedroom wardrobe is great it is my second one of this kind.
The guy who assembled it was very good and precise.
What let you down was this fee for carrying the flat packed boxes up 12 stairs in my small house. I was working away and my wife rang me to say that they wanted £20 'CASH' to carry them up the stairs.
It is a bedroom wardrobe where do you think it is going to go.
I told my wife to pay with a card and get a VAT receipt.
Of course this didn't happen and the huge boxes sat in the hallway for ten days until the assembly guy could come. When the guy came to assemble it I still had to pay £25 for him to take the bits upstairs.
I am sorry but this wasn't a £175 IKEA Wardrobe. It was nearly a thousand pounds, I can't believe that your guys couldn't just carry it up a small flight of stairs in our little terraced house. NOT GOOD!

Very prompt service, delivered when requested. Product quality is excellent and easy to assemble. Finished product looks great, lovely finish, a very stable wardrobe.

It turns out that I must pay £75 for a new contractor to view the wardrobe. That was their final offer. No ifs no buts, take it or leave it. I queried why I should have to pay, and was told, them's the terms or we close the case. 'Thank you for your understanding' And that was that! I don't think I've acted unreasonably. I provided WD with plenty of photographic evidence the wardrobe was faulty and/or poorly assembled. With the manufacturer also unwilling to accept responsibility, their policy of making the customer pay £75 for a 2nd opinion has worked. I'm sure I won't be the last to experience this form of customer service, and hope it acts as a salutary lesson for anyone else who's purchase isn't what they expected or deserved!

Brilliant service.Ordered bedroom set. Delivered within a week by 2 lovely delivery men who carried upstairs for us. Paid for assembley and that was done a week later. Assembler were polite, quiet and even took their shoes off! Would definitely recommend

Very poor after care have sent numerous emails had 1 reply have sent photos of the broken plastic handle which broke the same day was fitted, the cushioned strip on side of sliding doors is coming of, very flimsy back panel, the wardrobe looks the part but poor quality.i stick by my review but since writing it I had an apology for the company not getting back to me regarding my problems,they have now been sorted the guys came out and replaced and mended my issues ,

Communication excellent and time scales followed even with me moving delivery date back . I found the instructions hard to follow suggest a sticker on parts with it's ID on it as that was the biggest battle

Brilliant wardrobe delivery and installation was very good

Delivered very quickly by helpful and courteous driver. Wardrobe was undamaged and quite straightforward to assemble.

our 3 wardrobes arrived on time after I chased delivery date. Each wardrobe had 6 boxes only difficulty delivery driver not helpful husband had to stack boxes outside our home then get them inside.
Make sure If you are putting them together yourself you read through instructions first, but they are fairly clear to understand.
Once up they are study with great inside storage space. The addition of soft close drawers works well for our needs, the drawers are ample depth so plenty of space.
Only downside is the length of hanging space for longer dresses, however shirts, trousers and suits all hang well.
The shelving points are great for handbags, t-shirts etc and surprisingly spacious allowing further storage solutions.
Lighting is not a standard plug so you will need an adaptor (shaver style) if you want to have functioning lighting.
For the price we paid exceptionally pleased with the quality and look of the wardrobes so would highly recommend, just be mindful that they take time to put together if you use the build yourself option.

5 Stars all the way for my experience with Wardrobe Direct. Good quality Petra wardrobe. All queries excellently handled very quickly. The fitting team excellently handled the fitting. Overall a very good experience. Would certainly use again.

I recently purchased two items from this company, including a chest of drawers that has a very strong chemical smell. Even after more than a week, the smell is still present, making it completely unsuitable for storing clothes and potentially posing a health risk. The odor was so bad that it caused me an allergic reaction, and I am unable to use the product at all.
Despite raising my concerns with the company, they have ignored my complaints and have not offered any resolution. I would advise others to be very cautious when purchasing from this company, especially if you are sensitive to strong odors or chemicals.

Wardrobe is of exceptional quality and was erected by extremely professional installers. Having seen them at work do not consider trying erecting this yourself unless you are an extremely capable DIYer.

We are delighted with the look of this wardrobe which has finished off our bedroom to a T.

Easy to order delivered and installed great service clean and tidy guys and wardrobes are good quality i am very pleased.

I brought a wardrobe from Wardrobe Direct back in July, when it was delivered it had been damaged in transit so fair enough so was offered replacement (min 2 to 3 weeks for replacement!)
I declined replacement and asked to return & have a refund, simple enough you would think.
I finally got a refund this week so 8/10/24 & that was me having to contact them weekly for 2 month!
Customer service & after care is a joke!!!!!!

From delivery to assembly everything went smoothly. The wardrobes are of good quality and I am very pleased with them.
