The company was reliable
The company was reliable, delivering on the day requested and picking up on the day requested. It would have been helpful to be given a time slot.
The four stars (and not 5) are because there is no flexibility in the price for having the skip for less than 7 days and it is quite expensive for small jobs. We only needed it for 2 days. The staff were pleasant to deal with.

Poor customer service
Called for a quote and advice on what size of skip would be suitable for the waste we had. Despite describing what we needed the skip for, at no point were we told there would be a significant additional charge for this. On collection on the skip (which was 4 days late and caused disruption) we were hit with another bill in excess of £250. Would not use again.

Hi, as discussed, our team are very clear when making bookings about the waste and always check what waste will be going in the skip. If you had mentioned prohibited items we would have been able to advise that they could not go in the skip and looked at other options for you.
Our terms and conditions state that we endeavour to collect skips on the dates requested but may take 3-5 days to complete the collections. These along with the list of prohibited items is sent upon booking via email which you received. 💙

Unacceptable Customer Experience
It’s been an interesting experience interacting with your customer care team — though unfortunately, not in a positive way. The approach felt far from supportive, and I didn’t see much willingness to resolve a genuine customer issue. There seemed to be no flexibility or second chances offered, which is disappointing.
As a result, I’ve chosen to mirror that same level of understanding in my response. I’ll no longer require Waste Online’s services at a national level.

Hi Robert, I am sorry you felt we weren't supportive. We do provide as much information upfront as possible regarding prohibited items to avoid any additional charges and as explained unfortunately items were found in the skip that are not permitted and disposal of these had to be paid for 💙
Refused to collect the skip as it was a…
Refused to collect the skip as it was a bit overfilled and returned to base. Didn't even call me on arrival to see if i would remove some waste. They then charged me £150 for wasted collection Journey, which is far too excessive.

Efficient and courteous
From my initial contact with WasteOnline to the skip being collected today, the whole experience was made easy and stress free. We had to make a couple of amendments to the delivery and collection days, which were handled efficiently and without fuss. I would highly recommend WasteOnline.

Helpful in the extreme
I knew nothing about hiring a skip. The company talked me through the process, advised on what I could or couldn’t put in it. Delivery was on the date promised and in the place it needed to be. Within 2 hours we had filled the first 12 yard skip so rang to request early pickup and delivery of second one. Again he couldn’t have been more helpful. 2nd skip arrived on time promised and other removed. We finished with that one early so requested early collection. Again on the day promised, no mess left behind. I cannot recommend this company highly enough. Their service has been superb
