Receiving multiple spam calls all with numbers associated with Wavecrest Ltd, some of which have been reactivated recently.

Suspect this will get the usual auto-generated reply:

"Thank you for bringing this to our attention. Wavecrest Networks Ltd is a genuine telecommunications company, registered with OFCOM. Wavecrest is not making these calls, and take misuse of these numbers extremely seriously."

Well, you don't take misuse seriously, as you are happy dolling out numbers to scammers to pretend they are where they are not so long as you get paid, over and over again impacting thousands and thousands of people some of whom are out of pocket. Fraud and spam enablers.

How about a little report to OFCOM? Enjoy.

Here's a number 03300010362, if you can be bothered to do anything (we all know you don't care) as a "genuine" telecommunications company should be doing.

Numbers registered to this company are being used to provide consistent nuisance calls. For example 02030975227 was a female trying to sell business energy who then proceeded to shout at me when I politely asked to be removed from the database. I see the replies that you are not personally responsible, but you have a duty to ensure your products are being used without harassment, the emphasis sits with you as a company, not us receiving the calls to notify you via your website etc.

Had a fake text from Santander telling me I had a transaction on hold for a large amount and to call 020 3097 0205 if it wasnt me, figured out after a couple mins this was a scam with them pretending to be Santander and using this companys services to provide their call service to then scam people and harvest login and personal details, be very of any number provided by this company.

I've received (and blocked) many calls from this UK number. What a pathetic waste of time.

Constant calls, callers are rude and pushy. Have asked several times for them to remove my details but they never do. It’s various numbers too so even a number block doesn’t work

Irritating company enabling scammers to harass individuals who are on the Telephone Preference service - this company should be shut down!

Call from 0330 001 0598, registered to Wavecrest. Networks Limited. Male was very aggressive, called me a liar when I insisted I didn’t have an Aviva Life Insurance policy. An obvious scam and a nasty one at that. Clearly Wavecrest aren’t interested in staying within the law when they sell lines.

Clearly you’re providing phone numbers for scammers. 18 calls in 2 days, 17 of them are linked to Wavecrest. WTF?

I have blocked over 20 numbers. I’m getting calls from Liverpool and Birmingham. I have countlessly asked you to take my records off. You have legally got hold of my records which I have not consented to. This is harassment now.

Constant bombardment of calls from numbers of theirs. No messages left. No texts received. No emails either.

Leave a voicemail and I would be a lot more likely to answer. At this point it’s just unwanted spam.

scammers, constant calls, will try to rinse you for your data, in our case offering a new electricity meter (supposedly from the company we are registered with). Ironic as google search will tell you they're offering 'fraud prevention services'

Constantly getting Spam calls from various Liverpool numbers. You need to get on to Ofcom and get this sorted. Sick and tired of it.

Scammers. Received a text from FCA. Apparently my details were identified in an Action Fraud report. I need to call 03300013044 which is Wavecrest Networks….. I don’t think so. I’m going to report this company to Ofcom.

The Binance scam call I got from WAVECREST NETWORKS LIMITED number 020 3097 1068 was amazing!

I received awful service from Nazma from what I thought was Tesco international calling- turned out to be operated by Wavecrest. This makes a lot of sense now as I couldn’t understand how Tesco can be so ignorant about customer goodwill and treat customers with such pettiness. In any case it’s still Tesco’s issue if they are allowing a company with zero customer service credentials to represent them. I’ve written to Tesco to let them know how bad my experience is. This has affected my goodwill across the whole brand. Honestly- it’s better for Tesco if they move out of international calling rather than damage their goodwill like this!

UPDATE- Wavecrest asked for more information and moved to have this review removed IMMEDIATELY before even allowing time for this evidence. If only they were so concerned about serving customers properly (and Tesco’s goodwill) as they are about stifling customers’ honest reviews. Also, not sure why they are denying this, I've often had reviewed companies ask for details but almost never had my review flagged by them as "defamatory" and removed temporarily. This is the email o received from Trustpilot(copied and pasted):
“ We have checked and we can see that the review is now back online which means tat (cis) after assessment we found that your review does not contravene our guidelines for the flagged reason.”

It certainly leaves a bad taste in the mouth.

I don’t like to be called without a reason and from unknown numbers but a number +44 20 8638 2879 associated to this company is calling me after every other day. I don’t know whether our has been sold out to such companies who then unleash their call centres upon us.

Number: 03300013508‬ seems to be associated with scams. It is is apparently operated by Wavecrest. I met a girl on a dating site who wanted me to send her money for a plane ticket to visit me. Twice she phoned me, the second time was from this number.

In relation to the reply from Wavecrest, this number was first associated with spamming activities two years ago, and this is clearly continuing. I am not confident that this will be looked at timeously, if at all...
