I ordered some casual Mary janes on 15th July and have waited almost 3 weeks to receive them, They were definitely not worth the wait.... They arrived in a plastic bag with no receipt or note, they were squashed as a result and they are far from what I expected. They aren't leather from what I can tell, some sort of coated cardboard with some sort of foam sole and the chemical smell is overwhelming. I'm so disappointed - I paid £59.99 and they are just terrible. According to the website I now have to return them at my own cost (£20) plus a restocking fee (£15) will be deducted from the refund which will leave me with £24. I'm really saddened that there are companies out there that think that this sort of quality is acceptable at all. I wouldn't recommend at all!

I wouldn’t even give them one star.
The company is a sham - sending products that are nothing like their photos or descriptions.
The shoes I ordered were supposed to be leather, but were clearly cheap plastic and the sling backs didn’t buckle up.
Don’t buy anything from this company - they are ripping off UK customers and probably worldwide.
They are conning us.

I received my shoes after 11 days and was devastating it is not really good, I can’t even buckle it. Very very poor quality and it’s not a cheap shoes. I need to return it. I am not happy for what I have paid.

To be honest, I was very afraid of not getting my shoes at all or them being not like in the photo, and I am very happy to tell you that I did receive them and they are just BEAUTIFUL!

Plus the leather is SO SOFT!

I truly love my shoes and will order another pair (different style)

My only suggestion to other customers is, if your feet is a bit on the big side (i.e. I am a size 5 but my feet are wide) go one size up.

Mine fit perfectly and because the leather is so soft, is not a problem, but in other styles I might not be that lucky hence suggesting to go a size up.

But like I said, they are just beautiful!

One more thing, don't let the packaging ruin your experience.

The truth is that the shoes arrive in a very basic packaging (basically bubble wrapped in a plastic bag) but the quality of the shoes is not impacted by this so, don't let this spoil it for you!

Do not fall for the beautiful images of shoes this company portray on their website…or the fact that they say it’s easy shipping and returns to the UK for a full refund! I did and it’s taken me ages to sort it out. The shoes arrived looking NOTHING like their portrayal…they weren’t leather, the pattern wasn’t the same and they were made of a cheap composition in an awful colour and didn’t fit. I immediately contacted them via email to say they were defective and I required a full refund. I spent numerous days back and forth with emails with someone who claimed to be called ‘Anna’ but whom I’m not even sure was a real person. I say that because they didn’t seem to comprehend what I was asking for in my emails, despite reiterating the same thing over and over again. They tried to offer store credit (why would I buy again having been fooled the first time?), demanded that I return them at my expense (I found out the company wasn’t even in the UK) and constantly pretended they didn’t understand what I was asking for. In the end, thankfully, I had bought them on my credit card for protection with a new company I hadn’t dealt with before, I had to go through my bank who dealt with it, gave me my money and then, hilariously, I received an email from the company saying they’d given me the full refund. They hadn’t. Enough said. PLEASE DO NOT BUY FROM THEM!

I bought a pair of sandals and what came didn't match what I ordered (shoes should have had a back and they didn't) and were in the wrong size. Didn't realise I was ordering from a Chinese company as that information is well hidden.
Customer service have given me the run around, their policy states that if an incorrect item is delivered that they will pay for returnn but this is a lie. Stay clear.

The shoes didn’t arrive in a box, looked cheap with glue clearly visible on the seams and I don’t even think it’s genuine leather!!

I bought a few pairs of shoes, I must say they’re very comfortable!
The only problem is the buckles is tricky to put on looks very fragile.. it’s it snap then the whole shoe will be ruined.

The shoes are 2 sizes smaller than a normal one. Obviously not attempting the return as they are in China. The quality seems okay to me. Nice soft leather.

Spent over £100 on shoes (didn't research the brand before hand silly me!) and when they arrived, they came in a plastic bag, no box, invoice, or branding. The stench from that horrible plastic smell was unimaginable, and the "leather" was very thin and soft, so even if it is real leather (the leather mark was nowhere to be seen) I doubt it will last more than a month or two of wear. I have asked for a return but after reading these reviews, I feel I've now fallen for a cleverly worded bluff, and lost over a hundred pounds. Don't be like me! For a company that says they only ship to the UK, they should at least work with a UK warehouse to provide local returns.

*Update: The company have not offered a refund despite them replying to this review that they have.
I don’t consider buying another pair at half price a refund!

The shoes looked as advertised but were too small.
They didn’t smell like leather and were not branded as leather.
I requested a return and was offered a replacement pair and to keep the shoes if I paid a further €12.
I requested a refund again and was offered 50% off a replacement pair and a 10% refund.
The shoes cost £58 so I do not want a £5.80 refund and to pay for more shoes!

Do not buy any item from this company. I did not do any due diligence and made a purchase after seeing an item on instagram. The shoes took ages to arrive and were poorly made and the smell of plastic when unwrapped was incredible. I doubt these item were made of leather. I am currently in an ongoing contract to try and get an address to get a return agreed. I get offers to get a part refund and a big discount of future purchases. It’s quite annoying. As this company is based overseas in China if you buy from the UK you consumer protection rights are non existent. Whilst my purchase was only £70 it’s still super annoying to have fallen victim to a scam operation that selling poor quality products and will resist offering any refund. It would cost a fortune to take legal action in China to be able to recover my money. I normally avoid purchasing items from Chinese shops so can only blame stupidity at being duped via instagram.

This is yet another fraudulent retail company advertising on Facebook, that should be banned. They con you into believing that you’re buying good quality leather shoes at sale prices, but they’re cheap fakes. We all deserve a full refund, and the company should either be honest about their products or cease trading. What happened to consumer rights?

Straight in the bin & nearly £100 wasted 😡

Very disappointed. I have waited for 14 days to receive my parcel. As people mentioned before, there was no box, just wrapped in plastic bag. No brand name printed on the shoes, and just nothing like on their website.

DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY! I ordered a pair of shoes which are too narrow for my feet. In addition they look nothing like the photos online. I have asked to return the shoes and a refund and they only send standard emails offering me another pair cheaper. I don’t want another pair, I would like my money back. This company is a scam.

UPDATE - 25 July:
I received the below reply three days ago and have not received the promised details for the return and refund, just another email to offer me a ‘deal’ of a 20% partial refund. I have no idea what that is about. I have stated clearly that I want a full refund and return the goods. BE VERY CAREFUL BEFORE ORDERING FROM THIS COMPANY!!!!!!

UPDATE 8 August;
Still no communication from this company, despite the below promise and numerous emails. They still send me promotional emails so still operating. PLEASE DO NOT ORDER FROM THIS COMPANY!!!!!

The sandals were too big for the size, they had a large pearl on the heel that was not shown in the photographs and they were not leather. I have tried to contact the company regarding retuning them, but you can only email them. As of yet, I have had no response. This company is not what they appear on the website!!!!

I really should have known better. On Instagram the shoes looked elegant, good quality and stylish. What appeared from China 22 days after ordering was a cheap plastic approximation of the style and totally unwearable. On reading the Ts and Cs I can now understand this is a purchase scam and a case of buyer beware. Please do not be caught out as I was and waste your money on such a dreadful product that is being advertised in such way to make you believe you will recieve what you have viewed whilst the T and Cs tell you a completely different story. The company has covered themselves so customers have very little comeback. The shoes I received will go into the bin unworn and the experience has reinforced a valuable lesson; if the price seems too good to be true it should ring alarm bells and always read the Policy/Ts and Cs. Dear Readers..I was that gullible fool!

Update - You will see below that I have received a response from wearchloe.com similar to their response to other dissatisfied customers below. This is a mere platitude to make it seem that they respond to customers. I can confirm that, unlike their claim below, I have not been 'reached out directly' and I am guessing that I will not hear from them personally. As I surmised previously, this is a well crafted 'scam' business and the only way one can be saved from losing money on a purchase that is so extremely different to what was pictured and promised in their adverts, is not to engage in it in the first place. I repeat, I should have known better and now have to take the loss on the chin. I hope my review will stop others making the same mistake.

I wish i had read all of these comments here before I bought something from them. I have had a very bad experiance buying a pair of sandals from them. My size is 3.5 UK but they sent me size 4 UK which now is too big for me. Emailed them to return but they just answered sorry sorry to hear this that bla bla but didnt tell me the address to send the shoes back. According to their website you need to email to get a return address / return number before trying to send anything back. There website also states returns would be free if its their mistake. Tried emailing them serveral times but they just ignore me now. So glad UK have really good consumer rights as if the continue to ignore responding I will openup a dispute with my bank to get my money back. Dont recommend buying anything from them.

Shoes are made of plastic and ugly. They come in a plastic bag. No box.

I am trying to send the shoes back and they don’t want to send me the address. They keep offering me 20% and keep the shoes that I will never wear in my life. I am not interested.

please, be aware and don’t order anything even if they look very nice in the picture.
