The service was fine but as the purpose…
The service was fine but as the purpose of the purchase was to try and reduce my plastic waste I was horrified to discover apparently non recyclable or compostable packaging. I have tried to clarify with the company concerned but difficult to find contact details, I have now revised my review as I have had feedback that the packaging is fully compostable and this was mentioned in the accompaning leaflet.

Great products, Poor service
This site offers a wonderful range of ethical/sustainable products. However their customer service is really poor, and for some reason my order was split into four deliveries which is exactly the wasteful inefficiency I was aiming to avoid.
I'm now looking at the individual brands themselves to order directly from, and so far this is a much better experience, with people that actually value my business.

We have searched under the email address you supplied on your order and we are unable to find any communication from you regarding your order, so we are unable to investigate currently why you have found our customer service poor. I will email you regarding this to find out more and we are sorry for any inconvenience caused. The reason for the items being sent separately, is because we do not carry any stock ourselves. We are an online platform for 250+ independent eco-conscious and vegan brands who dispatch the orders directly from their end. So if you order from more than one brand, you will receive more than one parcel. Each parcel is also packaged in eco-conscious plastic-free packaging. It does state under the Delivery dropdown on each product listing - 'Please note if you order from more than one brand expect to receive separate delivery packages'. Kind regards, Ginny.
Good product, bad delivery and customer service
I love the product (multi-surfice spray and refills) but it took about 3 weeks to arrive and customer service were not very helpful, I had to chase them a lot over email and Facebook, and they provided no compensation.
Update 17.05.2021: Thank you for your reply and for the voucher. Its good to know you take on board and care about customer feedback.

The brand informed us that a few of their orders were held up by Royal Mail, for which we sincerely apologise. Unfortunately there can sometimes be some unforeseen delays with Royal Mail, but the majority of orders do reach our customers in good time. Ordered a biodegradable phone case…
Ordered a biodegradable phone case after i couldn’t one in any stores, was worried about ordering online as wasn’t sure on the quality and how the case would hold up, but the quality itself is fantastic and it is just like any other phone case! super bendable and definitely shock resistant as i have dropped my phone a ridiculous amount of times since buying this case, and both the case and my phone are still in perfect condition without a scratch!

Unhelpful customer service and not so "eco-friendly" platform
1. I got a face mask from Wearth London and waited for about 3 weeks. During this time I contacted customer service asking for a tracking number so I would know when my parcel was likely to arrive (in both the order confirmation email and "order dispatched" email there was no tracking information at all), while customer service told me they would ask the brand for more info, they didn't get back to me ever and didn't even reply to my later followup emails.
2. What I question about this business platform is that they are an eco-friendly platform, but at the same time they work with non-local brands. Therefore when items are purchased and sent, they actually produce more carbon footprint, which to me is very contradictory to the "eco-friendliness". For example the mask I bought was sent from Ireland and I'm in Scotland (I mistakenly thought the brand also had their warehouse in the UK since Wearth London alleges that they sell products by UK brands). I would prefer items that are made and sold nearer to me to avoid more carbon footprints being produced during shipment.
3. The actually mask I received is lovely and feels very natural. It leaves my skin soft and smooth. I also like the cotton pouch and the glass jar that came with the mask. However, using the mask twice a week causes itch and pimples on my skin so I can't really use it that frequently as stated in the instructions.
For the first two reasons, I probably wouldn't purchase things from Wearth London again and wouldn't recommend it.

Thank you for your feedback. I have investigated your query and I can see that you emailed us initially on 15th April and that we responded the same day. You then emailed again in response to our email asking for tracking or a delivery date. I can see that our Customer Service Assistant checked with the brand that day, but did not respond to your email at that point as she was waiting to hear back from the brand, thinking that they would respond to her next day. We are sorry for the delay in getting back to you, I can see that she did finally respond on 22nd April and that you acknowledged this. We are also very sorry that your seaweed face mask arrived late. You placed the order on 9th April and it was dispatched on 12th April from Ireland. We sincerely apologise for any inconvenience caused by the postal delay. In response to the second part of your review, all our brands are independent UK brands other than the brand you ordered from, who is an Irish beauty product maker who sources her ingredients locally. I can confirm that all of our deliveries are carbon neutral. It does state on the product listing that the item has been handmade in Ireland. Kind regards, Ginny.
