Had a good experience with finding a Photographer, it was quick and easy, I had a little problem with logging in, but contacted the office, and they dealt with it straight away, the whole experience was easy and did not feel stressed

I was initially invited by Weddissimo to join as a photographer/videographer and was told it was an invite-only platform. The onboarding involved video calls plus hours uploading a large portfolio of photos and videos for my profile.
After completing the full process where I shared my pricing (2000-6000), and after spending hours designing my. Profile there, without any branding or watermarks, I was rejected because "my pricing is over £1000 and I claimed I was less than that". Weddissimo later apologised and explained there had been a mistake in how my pricing was initially assumed or entered, but unfortunately this meant several hours of setup work ended up being wasted. It also became clear their marketplace is mainly aimed at the lower end of the wedding market, which simply isn’t the right fit for my business.
It was also a shame that many of the key downsides only became clear during the later video call stages of the onboarding. This included the commission structure, the fact that couples pay the platform and suppliers are paid their portion only after the wedding is delivered, and that I wouldn’t be able to display my business name or branding on my profile.
The directory is somewhat focused on preventing couples and suppliers from communicating before booking and paying through the platform to avoid commission bypassing. Suppliers are required to advertise without their business name or identifiable credentials, which feels unusual, and the platform clearly takes strong steps to ensure their commission is protected above all.
Overall, the david and the team were polite to give a call and apologise for the experience, but the process and positioning of the platform were not the right fit for me.

It's was so easy to navigate the Web site. Had loads of options for what we needed for our big day. Easy to communicate with our photographer. Great site definitely recommend wedissimo.com

I booked and paid a £200+ deposit - to get a text message saying I’ll need to cancel as they had another booking…. Poor first experience!

We used Wedissimo to find a photographer. There's huge choice and we think we've found an awesome photographer who'll do a great job on the day.

Plenty of choice for our wedding photographer, their fees and service clearly laid out. Booked a call with him through Wedissimo the following Week, had a video call with him, sorted.

Not easy to use and more difficult to book in my experience. The call booking is good but unable to send pictures to make up artist to show them what you want.

Very helpful platform and found what I was looking for quickly and the provider responded quickly. Had some trouble booking initially as I was out of the geographical radius, however this was quickly sorted. Would recommend

We couldn’t be happier with our experience with Lee as our wedding photographer. From start to finish, he was absolutely fantastic.
Communication with him was always quick and easy, and in the lead up to the day he was so flexible with timings and really worked around us. On the morning of the wedding he arrived punctually, was friendly and chatty, and instantly put everyone at ease.
When it came to the photos, Lee was brilliant at giving clear direction – from fixing a bit of hair to guiding us through poses – all while keeping things relaxed and fun. We weren’t the easiest bunch to organise (with delays and a bit of chaos thrown in), but Lee took control when needed, managing the crowd with ease and still keeping the atmosphere light. He was amazing with our baby too, who wasn’t feeling the best on the day, and somehow managed to capture gorgeous moments and even a few smiles.
The candid shots are every bit as stunning as the posed ones. Lee blended in so seamlessly throughout the ceremony and reception that we often forgot he was there, yet he managed to capture so many beautiful, natural moments we’ll treasure forever. He couldn’t do enough for us – anything I asked, he did – and despite working tirelessly all day, he stayed upbeat, calm and cheerful from start to finish.
We had our photos back within a week, which was incredible, and they’re everything we could have hoped for and more. They brought us so much joy after the wedding – every detail, every smile, every laugh has been captured perfectly. The quality of the photos and the service are exceptional, and we’ll always be grateful for the memories Lee has given us.
If you’re looking for someone professional, talented, and a genuine pleasure to have around on your wedding day, we couldn’t recommend Lee highly enough.
