I've been working with Jennie at Western Financial in Lethbridge for a while now, and I can’t say enough good things about her. She is incredibly knowledgeable, professional, and always goes above and beyond to make sure my insurance needs are taken care of. Whether it's answering questions, updating policies, or just offering solid advice, Jennie makes everything feel easy and stress-free. She truly cares about her clients, and it shows. Highly recommend her to anyone looking for top-notch service!

Will keep passing you off, putting you on hold & promising a call back when it comes to payments that you don’t owe. Consistent emails saying they’ll send you to collections, when I’ve called 3+ times and have spent over 8 hours on hold just for them to tell me they can’t resolve it and will have to have someone call me back then never do. GARBAGE company. Choose a smaller, locally owned company. I feel for their employees.

Do not use these criminals as a broker.

I moved from Alberta to Saskatchewan and cancelled my policy that was held by an insurance company called "Peace Hills."

I told the Western Financial Group (WFG) employee that I moved to SK and to make sure that Peace Hills didn't debit my bank account any further after my last payment. I gave them ONE MONTH notice to stop this transaction from happening.

But, just like all insurance companies, you can't trust them when it comes to money, and they debited my account on the day I told them not to and now one of my bi-weekly car payments is going to bounce and I'll have to pay two separate NSF fees.

Nobody at WFG, including Peace Hills, took responsibility for their mistake and the customer is left to suffer the financial consequences of their incompetency.

I am warning you. They, and their friends, will go into your bank account whenever they feel like it. And then they'll play dumb when you try to get your money back. This happened to me TWICE with these criminals.

DO NOT USE "WESTERN FINANCIAL GROUP" FOR ANY SERVICE.

If you want to be treated with utter contempt, ignored, kicked aside for 7 mo nths while you struggle to try and cope with catastrophic loss, then these jokers are the ones for you. Disgraceful and disgusting way to treat people.

Bait and switch, lack of transparency, hidden brokerage fees, misrepresentation, and pressure selling - the list of unethical practices from this company goes on and on. If this review site is meant for customers to share how confident they are in the business practices of these companies on here, then I would say I have zero confidence in Western Financial Group as a company, and I highly recommend, to all those considering purchasing insurance through them, that you do your research and avoid them at all cost in order to spare yourself of stress.

Dishonest and unethical.

We purchased broker in Kelowna because we had used them in the past when we lived in that city, I was looking for a cheaper alternative to our then insurance company through a credit union. I wanted to make sure my insurance coverage was covering my bicycles as this was a specifically listed item on our previous insurance that was costing us a large premium. "Ali" moved us over to one of their products for less money assuring me that as long as i was not" racing for money" i was fully covered anywhere in the world. Several years pass and after renewing I just wanted to add a 2nd bike, at which time i was informed that if i used the bike for its intended purpose it was not insured. Not only was the terms of the insurance quietly changed, they did not inform me of this change even though every year i made it quite clear that this was one of my concerns. essentially, i was told that i could park my bike in my house and look at it as a pretty wall display, but if i actually rode it, there was no insurance. This was essentially a bait and switch in order to get me to move insurance companies to their product. They have all the ethics of a Russian general.
