My first 2 to 3 lessons with Wheelers were pure theory about the car's inner workings. I did no driving whatsoever in these early lessons. Instead, the instructor, Jeff, asked me various technical questions and drew numerous diagrams. These lessons were a waste of money.

In one lesson, Jeff told me that my sweat would damage the "steering wheel sensors". When I challenged this, I pointed out that he uses moist medical wipes to clean the car's contact points. Jeff denied that moisture from those wipes would cause damage to the "steering wheel sensors" but failed to elaborate.

Wheelers' response to my original review (on another platform) didn't fully address issues such as Jeff's:

- lies about the steering wheel sensors
- refusal to enter and wait in the apartment block if concerned about waiting on double yellows
- belittling manner and bullying
- failure to consider my neurodivergence

Jeff and Nese are fundamentally dishonest people. When Jeff refused to enter my apartment block, he insisted that we begin our lessons at the local grocery store, much farther than Nese's claim of it being "100 yards down the road".

The irony is that I caught Jeff parking on double yellow lines, violating The Highway Code that Jeff and Nese continually refer to. When I challenged Jeff about this on the spot, he became aggressive and started following me in his car whilst shouting insults. He had a pupil with him at the time, so not only did he violate The Highway Code during a lesson with that pupil, but he also behaved in an unprofessional and aggressive manner towards a member of the public, showing complete disregard for the comfort and wellbeing of his pupil.

Jeff was a bully during my lessons. He lied about many things. Nese pathetically threatened legal action against me as revenge for my reporting Wheelers and Jeff to the DVSA.

Do not learn to drive with Wheelers.
