WELL WORTH the PEACE of MIND!
We have been using Whistle products for at least 6 or 7 years.
GPS: The Whistle GPS has instantly alerted us when Miki, our Shiba Inu, decides to run off on many occasions. During the pursuit, a map pops up on my cell leading us directly to her. Once, at dusk during rush hour, Miki took off and was running toward a busy street. Because of Miki’s Whistle we able get to her quickly..just before she ran into traffic.
WEEKLY REPORTS: We always enjoyed seeing the information on the Weekly Wellness Report. But when we noticed our Goldendoodle, Charlie, started behaving differently, (needy, mopey, not finishing her food, nothing huge, but concerning,) the Wellness Report contained objective data that validated our concern. We took this information to our Vet who found it helpful not only in identifying Charlie’s stress levels, activity and sleep patterns, but also when and how her usual patterns changed. Whistle truly communicates for our dogs when they can’t speak for themselves.
Have there been glitches? Yes, there have been some hiccups, but the customer service at Whistle has always been excellent. They really do care about our dogs and our ability to care for them.

Occasionally my dog likes to go run by himself. Whistle is a great tool to track him and bring him home. The only issue I have had is it can take a little time to come out of battery save mode so that I can start the find my pet mode. I will say I am always just behind him until he starts to tire out so I can then catch up to him. Over-all the Whistle has been the best tool I have to retrieve him on numerous occasions.
I love the Whistle
I love the Whistle. Not only does it help ease my worry about my Beagle getting lost if he gets out of the yard, but the information I get daily about his activity and health is useful. Happy I bought one, I have it for about 3 years.
The GPS doesn’t work!
The GPS doesn’t work!! I’ve called customer service several times, and after 25 minutes on hold, they were no help at all when I was trying to track my dog. Total waste of money!
Excellent product
I love this product. Very informative and useful information with regard to wellness and activity. Most importantly, it will help me find her if she were to get out or lost.
Whistle has been a fail
Whistle has been a fail. When Sugar disappears from view around our home, we just have to hope she reappears at the front door at some point. Whistle is caught unaware she is off the home grid. Most if the time we get no notification. Certainly location, if and when it kicks on, is incorrect. This is just a co titration of numerous fails reported.. We have reset the tracker, received a new tracker, followed the suggestions given. It is simply Whistle. It is a poor system and, frankly, does not do the one task I pay for--locating my dog. I do not care about reminders, how much she slept, her scratching habits, etc. And that is good since Whistle reports it has not received enough data for a report--despite her being inside and clearly within range of wifi. When I push that button "Find My Pet", I expect Whistle to come to life. Alas, the tracker is the sleeping object--not the dog.
ZERO CUSTOMER SERVICE
My dog’s device was damaged, I wanted to talk to a rep before purchasing a replacement. Can not speak to a live person, also chat was closed because they don’t hv anyone to reply. What if my dog were lost & I needed help. This whole idea of false security mks me so angry. Zero customer service which is unacceptable when my dog and his life are involved. Shame on these people who are in the business of pet protection. I will be purchasing a Fi brand gps to actually protect my dog in the event he gets loose. Whistle and this company are worthless.
Overall pretty good device
We bought a whistle years ago because our dog ran away while we were out of town and she was missing for a week. We found her but didn't want to have to go through that again and the tracker gives us extra peace of mind. Now she's older and we don't use it for her anymore but for our new puppy. Fortunately we've never been in a situation where we need to use it for a missing dog but it is great for peace of mind-especially if we are on vacation. I don't really care about the exercise reports and health stuff but once in a while we look at that stuff and it can be helpful to see. Overall it's a great device-only complaint is it does have to be replaced every two or three years because it will start having issues or stop working and they are pricey and the prices keep going up-they're now well over a hundred bucks. So over time that adds up and you pay a monthly fee on top of that. My husband actually thinks it's crazy that we're paying for it when it's a pretty slim chance our dog will run away again but the one time she did was pretty awful so to me it's worth it.

Very disappointed -had to wait 4o min for them to answer call and because you have not negotiated a deal with ATT it is going to cost $100 to upgrade one of the 4 whistles I have. Your product is great but your customer service is terrible. Brian Coleman
I love this tracker
I love this tracker. It is very comforting to know I can see where my dog is at all times. Especially if we are not home and the dog walking is taking care of him. The battery life is great
Whistle is perfect for my senior dog
Whistle is perfect for my senior dog. At 15 years old he needs his exercise, but it really does help to monitor how much. Whistle keeps track of sleep, licking and itching too which also helps with taking care of my senior pup. I recommend Whistle for any age dog though.

The Whistle is amazing!
We have had the Whistle for our German Shepherd and for our Husky for almost a year now. The Husky is a master escape artist, and it has saved her life more than once. The data that the Whistle reports on their overall health is incredibly helpful. I have been so impressed with it and highly recommend it.

I bought three of these for my dogs and it alerted me to my dogs sever itching so I took them to the vets and now working on the issue.
Cannot trust this device
Cannot trust this device. Many issues and going back and forth with nothing ever resolved. I don’t trust my Whistle will work if something happens to my dog. Always asks for my email and they email me and tell me to reset, make sure it’s charged, says my internet is the problem. Poor customer service and stuck with an expensive plastic box that I doubt will work if my dog ever gets lost!
