Pleased with Whistle & Wag and our pet after 13 years passed away and it was our first ever claim .. honestly they have dealt with it well.
My only point is that they sent over the condolence letter with a dog on the picture which made me feel it was a generic more focusing on dogs than cats .. could do with no pic or at least one relating to your pet.
Other than that good service highly recommend

Good price, easy claims, excellent communication
For the age of my cat the price was really good, the claims process was easy and I loved the ability to check where my claim was upto, the breakdown of the claim was absolutely perfect, I've never had such detail from a company before, only thing I will say is the maximum policy limit for blood tests seems low compared to what vets charge nowadays.

Excellent pet insurance…
From the initial easy contact regarding the claim for my beloved cat illness, medical condition and passing i experienced kindness and compassion whilst provided professional and friendly advice.
The whole procedure was handled with great respect and was completed with speed and no delays.
I would certainly recommend Whistle and Wagg and felt the monthly payments were certainly far less than expected.

Only downside is that you have to pay a 16% premium uplift to cover take home medicine but I suppose you cant have it all :)

No Co-payment
One of the few companies that don't charge a co-payment once your pet reaches a certain age. I don't agree with this as any pet can have an accident and some pets never see a vet so the assumption they will need more vet care as they are older is unfair, the NHs don't made you pay more when you become older.
Reviews are all positive so hopefully all will be good.

One of the best customer experiences I've had
I must admit I was dubious about using an online only insurance company when I signed up a few years ago. I did so however, as their cover was more comprehensive and the price was far more competitive than my previous 'well known' company.
Unfortunately I've had to rely on Whistle and Wag twice with my pet dog needing 2 procedures on 2 occasions.
All it took was to log a claim online and keep them upto date with goings on throughout both procedures, which consisted of simply supplying receipts and a couple of short emails.
I can't believe how quickly the whole procedure on both occasions were handled. Any emails I sent through making a ticket online were answered within the hour. No more sitting on hold for a phone call to be answered, no worrying they haven't understood me as it's all in electronic format and to top it off even the emails at the end of the process have been personal and with thought.
I honestly can't imagine using anyone else for my dogs, I'm so confident they are in good hands with Whistle and Wag.
