I have been working with WHMCS Global for 10 years+, and I have to say that their expertise is exceptional. They always get the job done, and communicate well. I have nothing bad to say about this company, they definitely are experts with WHMCS.

Update (25th of April 2024)
After spending more and more time on this template, more bugs appear unfortunately. We managed to resolve most of them by ourselves. But the coding, or better said the scripting, is poorly done. Loaders are not responding/working correctly. CSS (fonts) issues here and there. We already had to spend many hours to get stuff fixed by ourselves.

Also WHMCS Global Services charge a lot of money for simple changes/customizations. We asked so far for two simple things; for one they asked 125 USD (10 - 12 hours work) and which we resolvd in less than 30 minutes (!) and our latest issue was with the cluttered/messy billing cycle choice in the product selection (it's a complete mess and doesn't work correctly with mobile browsers). For this last change (or better said to fix the script/template) they said it would be 16 - 20 hours of work (which would be around 175 USD)! Absurd...

We purchased the open source version for 280 USD so we can make our changes. And now they want to charge us almost the same amount for fixing (seperating) the billing cycle from the product selection, so the order form is more user friendly (as it was advertised).

They advertise their product (WHMCS One Step Checkout Order Form Template) and I quote: Coded to Perfection
Well I can tell you one thing; it's far from being perfectly coded. We experienced a ton of bugs. One bug was deal-breaking as the cart prices weren't updated correctly when you changed the billing cycle. And WHMCS stated that they never ever received this complaint from any other customer. Yeah right. It simply didn't work from the start! Period.

Also WHMCS advertises this and I quote again: Fast and UI/UX friendly. Well it's not fast. Cart updates are still slow... I am starting to regret we didn't purchase the Lagom version. That one seems way more professionaly developed and better coding, however the open source is way overpriced (when I looked it was 1249.95 USD). So the WHMCS version (One Step Checkout Order Form Template) didn't look that professional (by far), but we thought we could tinker/change it simply to the way we wanted it to work... In the end it's riddled with a lot of issues, bugs and other problems. We are now re-thinking of taking our losses and keep our old order form instead.

Sidenote; we ran a test with several customers and a whopping 90% (!!) thought the new order form (WHMCS One Step Checkout Order Form Template) was actually a step down from the one we currently use. Sigh. Also several had other issues with the form (bugs we didn't experience so far). So far this has been a very bumpy experience with WHMCS and their product. This will defintely be first and last product we purchase from them.

For the time being I will give it a rating of 3 stars, however I will update this depending on how things will work out in the end. I do not mind paying a little extra for increasing the performance and ironing out the buggy experience, however paying almost the exact same amount as we paid for the open source is absurd to say the least! Really disappointing.

Increased the review rating a bit, because they have asked politely. We decided to pay the full amount for the changes, as we need them. Still kinda absurd.

Update (25th of April)
We decided not to use the plugin because of several performance (and more importantly) security flaws. We respect the security of our customers and therefor decided to ditch this WHMCS addon. Money down the drain? Yes 100%, however the safety of our customers is more important!

Support was very responsive and provided me a documentation which has proved very helpful. Quick to have a meeting for clarity sake and be sure they are on track with your request. Currently about to order another customization request. I would definitely recommend.

The WHMCS module was not working with my setup, and I asked for a refund. It's been 4 months, still waiting for my money back. Not cool.
