Prior to DAM – we had duplicate files were everywhere. Our employees had no ideas what assets were current or expired - so image and logo requests were constantly directed to the Creative Department cutting into valuable time for designing.

We reviewed three DAM Vendors and Widen stood out for a number of reasons which made the selection extremely easy for us. Their DAM interface is quick and easy to use, the reporting capabilities are robust, and the security allows a lot of flexibility. In addition - we love the Portals - which allows us to provide assets to our non-users.

By purchasing Widen’s DAM system, we have centralized our assets, and provided our users, controlled access to the most current files which, in turn, maximized our productivity and efficiencies.

In addition – our global offices are now connected with the most up-to-date materials they need, in any time zone, which has improved the current process.

You will find that Widen’s customer service is amazing. Their team will help guide you through all of your challenges to ensure you build a successful DAM. In addition, once your system is built – Widen continues to build a relationship with you - providing full support even after the on-boarding process is complete. They are dependable, accountable and extremely customer focused.

I'm not going to lie – implementing a DAM system can be grueling and a lot of work. But the beauty of a DAM is that it’s customizable and will grow along with your company to meet future needs …and Widen is more than willing to help you along the way.

We can't live without Widen's portal capabilities. The platform makes it easy to share assets with external users.

We are using Widen's DAM capabilities to streamline our monthly advertising campaign. We have been able to improve layout time on our monthly publication and stay current with vendor images. Before Widen, we had to deal with multiple assets such tools and replicating work month to month.

Widen is a service that is very integral to our operations here. We've been able to educate our sales force on how to use Widen's infrastructure to share & send images, pull resources, and get what they need.

Without the digital asset management that Widen provides, a significant amount of our day-to-day would be spent fetching and retrieving. Widen's product has enabled our team to elevate to new heights by focusing on new innovations and services, rather than lower tier tasks.

Why is Widen important to TC?
-Our DAM is used to house all our creative assets we produce through our photo studio whether that's video or stills. That way we have a library of assets for all the marketing team to pull from when creating marketing assets that go out in to the digital world in order to gain more customers.

What we used prior to Widen
-Everything was pretty much used before Widen came along. A lot of Dropbox, servers and peoples personal computers that housed all these assets. I think there was even some google drive folders at one point. None the less it was inefficient and not consistent.

Who benefits?
-Out marketing team benefits the most as they are the ones in there day in and day out grabbing assets to use for their projects. We hav also seen our stylist get in on the action by creating a portal for them to access the latest and greatest creative to share with their clients.

The DAM is essential for more than just assets.
-We mostly use widen to house all our assets but most recently, we have used the portal aspect and it has been a game changer for our stylist. Anything they need can be found in the Marketing portal for them to pull from and be more self sufficient in their day to day work.

Huge changes after Widen.
-Consistency and quick thinking since we now have a system in place that makes more sense than before. If there is something particular that needs to be built, our designers can go in and find what they need so much faster so they can delivery projects on time. No one has to be frustrated anymore finding assets or bugging their neighbor to help them find certain ones.

Integration in the future?
-We have not integrated Widen yet with any of our other platforms but there is discussion to see if we can do this with Workfront down the line.

What makes Widen so important?
-Knowing that Widen is our 1 stop shop for all assets and the search is much smaller now.

What's next?
-Keep growing and evolving the portal and our DAM to how we see fit to our business and how it's changing.

Wish list:
-I've said this before but I don't know if this will ever be a function but would love to be able to hover over an image on a certain type of clothing and have it show you exactly what brand it is. Right now we just list it in the metadata but sometimes there are so many different styles and accessories, it's hard to remember what is what.

-AMAZING... always prompt and willing to help

-So diverse in the type of companies that use Widen. Even if it's not in the same business space, I always learn something from everyone that uses Widen.

In the end.
-It just makes sense to have a DAM! Makes life so much simpler.

Widen has greatly improved our efficiency. We really like the ability to easily manage our large database of assets with specific rights and privileges. Widen's service and support is outstanding.

We've been testing Widen and hoping to make a change to that software in the near future. We have found everyone there to be incredibly helpful. Their analytics and support are without compare. The only thing holding us back is the template options. When that changes I am confident we will make a change. Also - their fall conference is amazing! Go if you can!

Widen is the perfect DAM solution for us. We are a small non-profit organization that needs to organize both our educational content and our marketing content, often in different ways. The Widen Media Collective has the flexibility that allows us to organize seemingly disparate content in a way that allows easy findability and access by all of our users. We use Widen as our central source of truth for all of our content, both internally with our employees and externally with our learners and collaborators - being able to keep all of our content organized and in one central location is no easy feat, and Widen has been instrumental in making that shift at our organization. Their customer support team is always quick to answer and very detailed in their explanations (a trait I really appreciate!) and I love my Customer Success Manager - my main point of contact for everything at Widen and someone I have a great relationship with.

Widen is heaven sent. Really. We were looking for a solution for file version control and an easy repository for audiovisual content to disseminate to our huge trainer community that didn't have a huge footprint. Many of the other options we had looked into would have required us to install a media server onsite that we would have to maintain. We already have a giant internal video server and we didn't see the need for another

We decided to go with Widen because of their years of business in the market as well as the only thing required of us was an internet connection! Easily the biggest selling point for us was no maintenance or housing of equipment on our parts. It's all software driven. Widen would take care of all upgrades, server maintenance, software upgrades, etc., on their end. Even the start up time and "hassle" was minimal. We had an account rep who guided us through the entire process and was able to help us out should we need. And you have the ability to customize your access portal so any clientele you have who might be accessing it are able to have a fairly branded experience.

We've been with Widen for about 5 or so years now, and any issues that have risen thus far have been fairly minimal and easily resolved. Would I recommend Widen to others? For sure.

Widen has been a great partner in getting our assets organized. They are extremely responsive with answering questions and with improving the functionality of the site. I highly recommend every organization to use Widen for Digital Asset Management.

This is a best in class digital asset mgt. system. I would recommend to anyone. Great business partners, user community and business partners.

Roughly six months ago, I accepted my new role as the Widen Collective Manager at an highly acclaimed local university. Loving a good puzzle, three solid months were spent JUST analyzing the Collective in its state and learning as much as I could about Widen. I watched all of the Widen University Videos and leaned on the Chat Team to gain insight on how to best take control of our database, and what (if any) improvements needed to be made. The Support Team is SOOOO over the moon amazing, they made me feel like my questions and concerns were valid no matter how silly I felt.

After this investigative work, I flew to Widen HQ in Madison, Wisconsin to present/validate all of my findings, hypotheses, and ask suggestions for improvement with Lexy 1:1. WHAT A BLAST! We got down into the nitty gritty together, had hypnotizing cinnamon rolls and lattes (she had tea) together, and I learned SO much about how to give our DAM the attention it deserved.

Upon my return home (along with some fun Powerpoint presentations), I brought my team up to speed with with my findings and am thrilled to say that all of the suggestions (thanks to Lexy's mastery and wisdom!) have been approved; and we are smoooooooth sailing now! Yeah buddy!

Does Widen offer a thoroughly wonderful Digital Asset Management tool? Absolutely! But they also have the most A-MAZ-ING support and customer service I have ever experienced in my career. A+++++++

Widen is a terrific Digital Asset Management (DAM) tool. We've been using it for several years and we depend on it to organize our marketing assets and distribute them to a global team. We store everything from brand assets, to design files, to stock imagery, to finished collateral, etc. And Widen makes it super easy to organize everything into collections and to control access to who can see what. It's made a huge difference in how our company manages all of our assets and the ease with which we can do that. I can't imagine going back to the way we used to do things.

Our company started with Widen some years ago. After a lengthy search, Widen was far and above the best choice for our needs. The Widen staff made it easy to set up our site, and were always there to answer questions. Our company has many distributors and representatives, as well as several international offices, the site has made it very easy for all those who need assets to be able to get them quickly instead of coming to me and asking for them, the site has saved me an immense amount of time.

I've been using Widen for over 5 years now and have always been very impressed with their innovation and with the level of attention they give their customers. I've had team meetings with them, one-on-one conversations, and everything in between. I've always ended up satisfied with their responses and explanations. I have never had difficulty navigating their site or issues finding the assets I was looking for. I also enjoy showing newer employees how they can use the site to assist our customers when they have specific product questions. Widen is a phenomenal tool for us. We have thousands and thousands of photos, digital advertising pieces, videos and more saved on the DAM. We are able to store all of our creative in one location and give access to our team and to the clients. We also allow partners to upload their own assets to the DAM to use for advertising. The metadata allows for easy searching and organizing. Very easy to use, and saves time. I would recommend Widen's DAM to anyone looking to organize their digital assets!
