My fussy 16 Yr old Sib Husky took to the chicken mince at first feed and enjoyed her meal. No funny smells, packed in a keep cold case and well frozen on delivery all was a pleasant first buy from Pawsitive.
My only quibble here is I ordered my Frozen Chicken Mince from "Pawsitive" and received it from "Middleton Raw Dog Foods" why I ask so untill the query is resolved I will look elsewhere.

Disappointment 😞, I ordered a 2.5kg bag of chicken to check if my dogs liked the food, delivered quickly email updates- great. I then decide to order an 18kg bag, that was 4 days ago (delivery states 2-3 days) absolutely nothing - I've emailed - no response.
To give a comparison to another small business - I've ordered a dog related product from a company called fettle, there is also a delay to their delivery, I've had a comprehensive email from them stating the reason for the delay, a revised timeline and a apology for not living up to their usual standards, this is what customer service should look like.
What really makes me cross is that there are leaflets and repeated emails about the importance of transitioning your dog carefully to this food, then when you're trying to follow their guidelines and transition your dog onto it they're not delivering what you need!!! I have now had to feed my dog less of this food as I'm going to run out and will unlikely stick with a company that can't deliver on time. We've been with butternut box for 2 years for our dogs and they've never missed a delivery, maybe I should just stick with them.
Update - I was assured a dispatch today after an email exchange, it's now 9pm and it hasn't happened, I've emailed to cancel my order. I'm disappointed as this dog food seemed good but good dog food needs to come with a reliable supplier.

Where can I even begin?!

We have been through all the types of food on the market, from normal wet, to vet backed kibble and even fresh made, but nothing has compared to Wild.

Our whippet has a sensitive stomach, and has been a real puzzle when it comes to his food. On popular fresh brands, it was costing us a fortune to feed him, and he was loosing a concerning amount of weight. On vet kibble, his weight was managed but the outcome wasn’t quite where I wanted. I had been toying with trying him on a raw diet, but it’s far from conventional for us, with the small freezer space we have, and the amount we travel. Wild has been a game changer.

I was over the moon to find a food that has all the benefits of raw feeding, but in a much more convenient form. Our boy devours his meals everyday, and has never looked better for it. His coat is immaculate, his eyes are glossy, his breath and dental hygiene have improved massively, and best of all, his energy levels are consistent and he’s starting to show some absolutely fantastic muscle growth. He has never looked better and is even regularly stopped by strangers!

We have also been beyond impressed with the customer service this company provides too. They are so quick to get back in touch, even checking on how his transition went, and are always so kind and helpful. You can really see how much they care about their clientele.

The only complaint as such that I have is that he does drink significantly more since his diet change. I would assume this is due to the type of food. Although, we have no real concerns with this as he isn’t showing any signs of dehydration, and is simply drinking more than his usual camel approach. Just something worth noting!

I do hope this review does the brand justice. We are so grateful to have found such a fantastic company, and fantastic food. After a lot of health anxiety in regard to our whippet, it is so refreshing to feel reassured that he is getting the best of the best, and at his optimal health.

My 2 dogs love the food. Good quality food at reasonable price, excellent customer service. Fast delivery.

It’s no surprise that dogs can’t talk and yet in a way, they do.
For instance my three year old Staffie had grown tired of his ‘core diet’ and despite efforts to get him interested in many different alternatives he still showed disinterest.
UNTIL: Bug Bakes and Wild Pet Foods .
He’s talking now, with his mouth full and he truly can’t get enough.
He is fully fit and healthy again, his coat, his eyes, his all-round condition and demeanour are totally different.
HE TALKS NOW! and he says WILD PET FOOD and BUG BAKES are the absolute BEST 🥳

My dogs didn't enjoy this food. I found it impossible to cancel the repeat order and the customer service was the worst experience I have ever had.

My dog won’t touch this however I dress it up. I can mix it with roast chicken and he’ll pick it out. I am stuck with a large amount. On top of that, delivery was very poor. My money cam out of my account immediately but an incomplete delivery arrived after over 2 weeks. The rest arrived more than a month after ordering. Lots of conciliatory emails but no substance to product or service.

I liked the thought of cold press dog food and all the great reviews.
Sadly this did not agree with my two high energy Hungarian Vizsla’s, they started to loose weight with using the feeding guidelines on packaging, emailed Wild and they replied feed them more, so in the end feeding them the same as a 45kg dog and still not putting on weight, instead large smelly poos and for the first time since pup waking me up to go outside in the night for wees and poos.
Probably is a good food but no good for my high energy dogs that walk for miles every day.

Love the smaller packs, easier to manage and use for treats...
Bug bakes came on time and dogs love it

We started changing over to Wild food a month or so ago. Our dog has taken to it with enthusiasm (well, he is a lab, so will eat pretty much anything of course!). No problems with the gradual changeover from his original food to the Wild food - we followed the plan they suggest.
We spent a lot of time researching dog food, and would have seriously considered raw food, if it suited our life style more (we travel a lot). The Wild dog food ticked a lot of boxes in terms of nutrition, processing, sourcing ethics etc.
We were prepared for long leadtimes based on other reviews, but our order turned up within 3 days.
We also love that there are a several varieties: beef, chicken, fish - so that we can feed our dog a varied diet.
We, and our dog, are very happy.

It's taken a little while but BugBakes have been great for our pup's gut health.

We've been using them for about 9 months and before we started his poops were quite sloppy, squitty and just yuck. Now they are much easier to pick up (still yuck, obviously).

He's always been a happy boy so it's hard to tell if he's in better health over all.

We use his regular food as 2/3 of the bowl, with Bug Bakes on top as the last 1/3. He likes them more than the regular kibble!

Be persistent and consistent. They are more expensive than regular food, but worth it.

Expensive but worth every penny!
I’m vegan so wanted to see if my dog could be vegan too, unfortunately all the fully vegan brands didn’t work and gave him soft poos do I thought the next best thing was bug bakes! After seeing it reviewed well on “all about dog food” we gave it a try and now I’m sure it will be his food for life! His poos are amazing now and he absolutely lives his food also there’s no nasty smell unlike with some dog food! Ross is very helpful and I wish him all the best with his fantastic product! It would have been five star had the choice of Carrier been better.
The delivery of the first order was messed up by the Delivery company. The ease of ordering, communication from Wild, response to the problem was excellent and I look forward to a long association with Wild.

My pooch is really enjoying Wild. Her coat is shiny, her tummy is settled, she absolutely wolfs it down, and loves snuffling for it in her kong.
I’m happy with the product and the service. It seems that Wild are getting famous and doing so well their products can be a little out of stock so I need to be a bit more organised with my ordering - not last minute- but they are super helpful at suggesting alternative flavours and getting delivery out quickly as soon as her preferred chicken comes into stock. Price is excellent.

Excellent dog food. Our pup demolishes his dinner! He is a very happy and healthy pup.
Customer service is also top notch.

I came across Wild Pet Food because I was finding it difficult to get hold of my dogs usual food and theirs seemed closest. I thought I would have gone back to the other food when I could get it but I much prefer the quality of Wild and love the fact it is UK produced. The dogs love it to.

We got a call from our credit card company and charges were starting to show up months later when we hadn't ordered.we are checking now to verify.

Great ingredients used BUT the kibble pieces are just waaay too small and for a bigger dog this is a problem..it was getting stuck between teeth n gums that’s the only downfall here…..also my 1st delivery took nearly 3 weeks to turn up..but I get it this is a new buisness so we’d expect bumps in the road..the owner mailed me directly couldn’t apologise enough

Not happy with this company. Brought dog food and paid £128 which they did not send. No updates or any information regarding when it will be delivered. Then received an email saying they do not have it - so sold an item they don't have. Now having to chase a refund. They should not be allowed to advertise stock they don't actually have.

Very disappointed with this company I ordered , I send emails because I had no update and no one replied to me so I cancel with proof that my order was no fulfilled or shipped , hoping they will be not playing with me like they did with other customers, I knwo my right as a customer so they will have to cancel and refund me .
And they excuses won’t make any difference , they ignore my emails , Facebook or instagram message or post so I am
Done with them.

The director contacted me to apologised and to make things right , I have been very honest with him and he has been comprehensive , if all the employees was taking of every customer in that way that would be great but this issue as been out of their control as the only employee who is dealing with customer service was off sick . I am happy to let another chance to this small business as I thing this is very important to buy local.
