Was seen by a lovely GP with specialist menopause knowledge who had looked at my info beforehand and gave me some very helpful advice and answered all my questions. Highly recommend this service to any woman who is perimenopausal and has questions about HRT.

Alva listened to me when my own surgery wouldn’t. They gave me the help I needed and made a big difference.

I was pleasantly surprised to find a way around what I perceived was an obstructive, unsympathetic GP. I was disappointed that I couldn't get a prescription off the back of the consultation, but it encouraged me to pursue an appointment with a new GP and I got the help I needed. To be honest,with hindsight, I found the interactions with the support staff at Alva more supportive and sympathetic than the actual Alva doctor.

I have gained some very useful information and was able to view my treatment plan very quickly ….have had some lovely emails ….still unsure weather to start hrt as I’m 54 and feel I mite be over the worse ? However all very informative indeed

A brilliant web site. Living in an area where there are no menopause specialists and having GP’s that are closed off to pretty much everything to do with the menopause ( it’s all in our head apparently) this was a god send!!! I have been able access doctors who specialise in well woman and menopause, plus the treatment needed to get my life back on track. Something the NHS has failed me and many other women on. I cannot recommend ALVA enough. Don’t suffer in silence ladies and don’t take no as an answer from your GP.

Professional and more importantly they listened and prescribed accordingly rather than just because something is the cheapest option!

Read their very informative website, completed the consultation form, and received an immediate response with an immediate online consultation arranged some 2 days later. The consultation was positive, factual, and explanatory for the first time since my first hot flush I felt listened to!
I cannot recommend Alva enough for their continuing help and excellent communication.
