Purchased sandals from woodland official website Wanted to return order and get refund trying to contact customer care but no response from their side even though i had sent a mail but no response worst experience best thing to file a complaint in consumer forum

I am Pradeep. And I am not associated with Woodland Company by any bit. I work for an ad agency. I am sharing my experience. This site woodlandworldwide is genuine. I had placed the order for Cashew Brown Boots for Men. Order No. 4288263. by paying through card.

For 2 to 3 days, I entered the OR No. and there was only ‘Order Placed’ and ‘Order Confirmed’ and there was no date of delivery. Like everyone, I viewed the feedback for credibility from few sites. I read all the reviews and got shocked. In a dilemma whether to cancel the order or to wait for the delivery. I wrote a mail to the email address on 22nd October. There was no reply !

On 24th October, I received a WhatsApp message through Delhivery Limited saying we are unable to reach you for your delivery with shipment FO OGB No….. Again, I got upset because I didn't receive any call. I messaged back to the option 'I was available'. The next day i.e, Sunday 24th October I received the box.

All this while I was thinking like all others, I was cheated but it is not true. The site is genuine and you will receive your order. Don't go by reviews in all the sites. Send a mail and wait for minimum 6 to 7 days. My request is to avoid this anxiety, and stress 'Woodlands' should mention the delivery date and time, moment they receive the order.

Note: This feedback is only on the purchase process and delivery of the Boots. I haven't used the shoes so far because it's raining outside. I will share the product quality experience later.

My experience with Woodland’s online store has been absolutely horrible. I ordered through what I understood to be the official Woodland website, but the way my order and money were handled was extremely disappointing and frustrating.

Honestly, the entire experience felt like I had been cheated. Once the payment was made, getting proper support and resolution became a nightmare. Customer service was of no real help, and I was left feeling that my hard-earned money had simply gone down the drain.

How can a reputed brand operate an online store where customers have to struggle like this after making a genuine payment? An official website should provide trust, transparency, proper communication, and timely refunds, not leave customers chasing their own money.

⚠️ My strong advice: BE VERY CAREFUL before placing an online order. Think twice before paying.

I personally regret shopping through Woodland’s online store. Based on my experience, I would not recommend their online shopping service to anyone.

Woodland needs to seriously fix its online customer service and refund system. Customers deserve much better treatment.

This company is a scam. They said they were going out of business so it was a close out sale. I bought some items. A month later they charged my credit card with a $19.95 " membership fee" that was never mentioned before. It scares me that they have my credit card number. I will notify my bank. I emailed them about the fee and was told that it is nonrefundable. Stay away.

No communication I bought something on the eBay store and it's been a headache ever since I don't recommend no communication they're just a terrible company

Terrible experience. Order is 2 weeks late, no reply to the mails and customer helpline doesn't pick up the call. Tracking details havn't been updated.

Extremely profesional for a household brand like woodland. I don't think I have ever had such a bad experience - even small homegrown brands are more active.

Fraud. They sell damaged products online and there is no way that they respond to mail. Trust me you will loos your money if you buy this product. I have lost my money already. If asked I can give you photos of the product the time I recorded the product and the time I mailed them regarding this

If you’re in the U.S., be aware that you may pay high customs fees and duties. I paid $90 in total fees for shorts that didn’t fit, $30 in customs fees. Returning them costs an additional $20, and they only offer a 10% discount if you choose to keep the shorts instead. RIP OFF

I bought a t-shirt online from Woodland. When I received it, I came to know that the fabric is polyester instead of cotton. I tried to return but for 20 days they didn't respond to my mail and also their customer care number was of no use as no representative receives, only prerecorded voice messages keep running. After 20 days they called me and shamelessly informed that due to technical glitch they couldn't return picked up the product and requested to drop the product at nearby it's physical store. After depositing the product I am waiting for the refund for last 14 days since dropping the product to the physical store. But these shameless company has no ethics and better to Avoid Woodland products. Soon I am going to file case in consumer court.

Ordered 02 shoes online on 28 July, one shoe received at 03:00pm and it was perfectly fine, second pair received at 05:44 pm on 01/08/2026 delivery made by Delhivery, opened the parcel and found an old, different design dirty worn out shoes, immediately informed and showed it to delivery agent, he made me speak to his office and they gave me the pickup point, Woodland store, Durgakund Varanasi, store manager told me to write an online complain as they have lot of complaint against their Delivery partner, they never had done so, my complaint was denied out rightly on the reason that I had no video of unboxing ( unfortunately till date I never had done so ) and they sent me a a clip where shoe was getting packed, with no face seen nor being handed over to anyone, Approached Delhivery, they took back the shoe but no refund or the shoe was returned, Never buy from Woodland, worst customer support, as an Army officer I am truly shocked and disappointed, I lodged my complain to the nearest police station, Woodland Store, Durgakund manger Mr Umesh was summoned to the police station with CCTV footage, in no time I have received an written apology and the money is refunded into my account. Bloody thieves

Extremely disappointed with Woodland. There was a time when this brand meant durability, but now their quality has become completely poor. My shoes ruined within months as the sole cracked and crumbled, and customer care casually blamed it on "wear and tear." If Woodland continues with this careless attitude and substandard material, no one will buy their shoes anymore. Today, competing brands are offering much better quality, comfort, and service at great prices. Woodland is surviving only on its past reputation, which won't last long. Think twice before wasting your hard-earned money here!

“Absolutely terrible experience with Woodland. I returned the product long ago and they are still holding my money without any proper refund update. Customer support keeps sending the same copy-paste reply saying ‘refund is in process’ but nothing actually happens. This feels completely unprofessional and irresponsible. Customers should not have to beg for their own money back. Very disappointing service and zero accountability. I will never shop from this brand again and would strongly warn others to stay careful before ordering from them.”

For me most Comfortable foot wear and most trusted brand..

Shame on the brand, Shopping through it’s app is a scam. They send you roadside product with their level. They are cheater, no return option in app, No customer support. Bought 2 forma shoes together, stating leather shoe but 1 pair shoes look plastic shoe which you must have seen sold by railways station vendor. Customer support doesn’t tak the call, they will keep you waiting for more than hours.

DO NOT ORDER ONLINE. THERE IS NO CUSTOMER SUPPORT FOR ANYTHING. THEY DONT RESPOND TO EMAIL NOR DO THEY PICKUP PHONE

I bought a shoe on regular price from online store on Aug 3rd. When it was more than 5 days and I still didn't receive the shoe, I followed up with customer support. Firstly their customer support phone is a joke. They never pick up the phone. I tried hours after hours calling and they will play the same message "we are busy serving other customers" lol. I don't think woodland has that many customers in the first place.

Next I tried writing email and to the customer support and I got a response back the next day. They said the shoe is not on stock and so it will take sometime to deliver. As I was in a hurry and I don't live in that address where my shoe is supposed to be delivered I cancelled the order and then nightmare started.

It's been more than 15 days still I didn't recive the refund. I ridiculous that a simple refund in 2025 is taking so long. After numerous followup with customer support they ghosted me and I am not sure if I would get the refund back.

This is pretty sad that once a great brand like Woodland is scamming their customers. No wonder they closing the every stores in Kolkata.

Later when I search in Google I can see that other customers also faced similar issue and sites like Trustpilot, mouthshut, Redit is full of posts like this.

I am really surprised how a brand like Woodland is able to pull off this scam for so many years now. This thing should be escalated so that more and more people know about this.

I recently purchased a pair of shoes from Woodland's online store, and the experience has been nothing short of frustrating. Despite repeated emails and multiple attempts to contact their customer care by phone, I’ve received no response whatsoever. Their customer service is shockingly slow, unresponsive, and unprofessional. It feels like they’re doing everything possible to avoid handling returns.

For a brand like Woodland, this level of service is unacceptable. I expected better. I regret this purchase and would strongly discourage others from ordering through their online platform unless you’re absolutely sure you won’t need support.
