I worked for woolcool in the factory/ warehouse for 2 days back in 2022. Unfortunately, due to personal circumstances at the time, I couldn't go back the following week and continue working there. I found Wayne, the warehouse manager, extremely welcoming; he was great with the warehouse team and was continually praising the hard work of the staff, keeping their spirits up. The company really seemed to value their staff, and overall seemed pleasant to work for - the fact they've been making their environmentally-friendly wool packaging for 15 years proves they have an excellent product. The only thing I would suggest is possibly considering shorter shifts. Maybe consider the choice of 6 or 12 hour shifts 3 days a week, rather than 12 hour shifts only. Maybe even 8 hour shifts (8am until 4pm or 8am until 4.30pm).
I understand the shifts are either Sunday, Monday, Tuesday or Wednesday, Thursday and Friday, so just 3 days at 37.5 hours. To offer 6 or 8 hour shifts as an option would encourage employees to stay with the company for longer as the working day would be shorter, especially when you're on the production line all day.
