Wordier vocabulary…
All the cards in the Wordier vocabulary pack were different and the meanings were explained very well, with pictures. Also the Wordier book contained a lot of questions that were really useful as it helped my child learn new words and understand their usage.

Fantastic flashcards
Highly recommend the Wordier flashcards. My daughter found them much more engaging than other flashcards, loving the photos in particular. A great discussion tool. She bounced out of her recent 11 plus exam, chuffed that words she had learnt using these cards had come up.

Fantastic value for money.
The weekly live sessions are greatly helping my 9-year old son. He remains engaged throughout the hour and still remembers the vocabulary he learnt weeks ago. The format is effective for knowledge retention and my son particularly likes the contest at the end. Thank you!

Thank you for taking the time to leave a review, Anon. We aim for every child to enjoy our classes so I’m very sorry to hear that was not the case here.
As much as I would like to have the children's microphones on, our early class trials revealed that this didn’t work too well. We found that one or two children would either monopolise the conversation or would take a very long time to state their answer, which was frustrating and boring for the other students. Therefore, we switched to using the chat function to allow all children to participate freely and the lesson to flow more smoothly.
Although microphones are muted, we ask questions and encourage the children to respond throughout the class as we want to interact with them. We aim to answer questions and to give personalised feedback, acknowledgement or praise to every child during the sessions, regardless of the number of children present.
If you don’t mind, I’d like to hear more about your experience so that we can figure out exactly what went wrong. I will therefore reach out to you personally and, in the meantime, will issue a refund for the remainder of the course.

Go Fish vocab game a big hit!
Excellent set of resources to help my children improve their vocabulary. My daughters especially enjoy the Go Fish game - it's frequently requested in our house and a fun way to learn synonyms.

The product is great
The product is great. However, not enough postage was paid so we had to pay charges. Also some instructions could help for those who haven’t played, certain card games before.
Update as issues have been resolved between us and wordier review been changed to reflect this.

Thank you very much for your feedback. I'm so sorry to hear that you experienced some disappointment with your purchase.
Unfortunately, we were informed a few days ago that a couple of our orders had incurred extra charges. We had folded the envelopes a little differently than usual, which caused some packages to exceed the Royal Mail dimensions for that parcel size. I shall issue a refund for the extra postage charges to you immediately. Please accept my apologies for the inconvenience caused.
