This is an educational trip designed to help fourth-grade students understand the development of California’s capital.
This is an educational trip meant to broaden the children’s knowledge and experiences. The focus should be on the children. In addition to choosing the right destinations, the educational content needs to be rich and engaging.
Since museums usually offer guided tours, I believe it would be best to follow a docent or guide for explanations. If everything is left as free time, and we as parents are not very familiar with the historical background, it reduces the value of making such a long trip with the children.
The tour guide should also strengthen their overall introduction to the itinerary—especially highlighting the key features of the natural history museum. Given the limited time, it’s impossible to see everything. If we are informed in advance about the main exhibits or sections worth prioritizing, it would save a lot of time and help us make the most of the visit.

A Fun & Well-Organized Tour
They really had every single minute organized for my daughter's class trip to the Sacramento state capital sites and historic gold rush country. It was very memorable and educational for the kids. Our tour guide, Laura, did a wonderful job.

As a parent who did not attend
As a parent who did not attend, I really appreciated all of the planning and care that went into the security and details of this trip. From night monitoring at the hotel to having additional activities planned when they needed to pivot in the agenda. It was clear that World Strides has experience in providing large groups of kids with a safe but fun experience.

My WorldStrides trip to Washington
My WorldStrides trip to Washington, D.C. was life-changing because I got to experience history and culture in a way I never had before. One of my favorite moments was visiting the Basilica! It was so beautiful and peaceful, and it really made an impression on me. Seeing all the detail and learning about its meaning was something I’ll never forget. I also loved visiting the monuments and seeing them in person, especially at night, because it made everything feel so real and powerful. Spending time with my classmates made it even more special, and I created memories I’ll always cherish. This trip helped me grow more confident and appreciate learning outside of the classroom.

VERY expensive and not great quailty.
I wish my school would not partner with this company. The trips are super expensive for what you get, I could have DIY'd for 50% of the cost and had 50% better experience. They seemed to nickel and dime everything, but a simple trip to DC cost of $3K, where did all the money go? And then they will SPAM you for the rest of your life for more money.

$2100 is ridiculous! There are about 100 students in the class and less than 25 kids went. It was way too expensive!!
