I went on the Vet Visions project to Zimbabwe! I had Alex as my host Vet who showed us around Zimbabwe! Alex was amazing! She was very knowledgeable and introduced all ten of us to the culture and educational aspects of veterinary medicine in Zimbabwe and elsewhere.
I felt very safe during the whole trip! Everyone was so friendly and welcoming and I will definitely miss this place!

Genie was absolutely amazing. This was my first international experience and she did a great job making me comfortable in a new place. I loved every moment of this trip along with all the memories and experience I gained.

An amazing hands on experience with an amazing vet team. Great for vet students who are keen on getting more surgery time. You also learn to apply medicine in an adaptable environment with rather scarce resources.

WWV’s provided excellent service and an amazing adventure. The living arrangements were a bit rougher than expected but everything was clean and safe. This experience was mainly animal husbandry and no clinical experience. But there is daily hands on experience with baboons, ostrich, pigs and monkeys. You will also interact with zebras, giraffes and antelope to name a few. If hands on animal experience and an African adventure then this will be it! The excursions advertised such as Victoria Falls and Hwange National park are several hours (8+) by bus and/or air flight. However, Matopos is close (under an hour) and worth the visit and can see rhinos up close!

That was a fabulous experience. A life time trip.
The project is really well organized, the place is amazing, the people who work there are all very helpful and pleasant.
I thank you Worldwide Vets for giving me this chance.
The pre departure information were accurate and helped me to arrange everything top.
Also non riding activities were a lot of fun.
That place and their animals are surrounded by a love aura.
Sadly I couldn't see a leopard, as they are very rare to spot, but you can't have everything!!
I recommend this project to any animal and horse lovers. The long trip was well worthy.

I have traveled through Worldwide Vets 2 times now in the past 2 years and I cannot recommend them enough! Last year I attended the Kruger Vet Project which was absolutely life changing to me, such an amazing experience. A few weeks ago I got back from the Thailand Asian Elephant Vet Clinic and had another amazing experience and got the experience a whole new culture. I have full intentions to travel through this program again in the near future, and I am already excited for my next adventure!

I did the "Southern Zanzibar Vet Clinic" project for a week and it was a really great experience. Good communication with WWV before my trip, and well taken care of by clinic owner Dr Abdi and his team during my time there. All logistics worked without any issues at all, travels, pick-up etc. Despite me only spending a week with the team on site, I still had time to see and learn interesting cases and contribute with spay/neuter work. The accommodation is nice and close to the beach and restaurants as well.

Incredible week with Thrive in Zimbabwe (The Zim!)….amazing lodging, so much good food, the best guides, incredible activities! My favourite excursion was the morning we visited the elephant sanctuary, and got to feed the elephants! Also really appreciated learning about the dog anti-poaching team….

We set off to have an adventure and step out of our comfort zone and as older volunteers the Kruger Wildlife Project exceeded all of our expectations. From booking with Bailey , collection at the airport and daily wildlife experiences we had an absolute blast. Everyone was so friendly and helpful. Jurie, Beryl and Angie deserve special mention for making every day very special. A trip of a lifetime without doubt. And we’re in our 60’s!!

I attended the WWVets Thailand project. it was an amazing experience for students to embrace the Thai culture whilst also getting involved in medical and surgical cases. i would highly recommend this experience to both clinical and non-clinical vet students.

Worldwide Vets does incredible work supporting animals worldwide. Even from Canada, I can see the impact of their efforts in wildlife rescue and veterinary outreach. Their dedication to improving animal welfare is inspiring, and they make it easy to support their mission.

upon arrival to resQ- I had to pinch myself to see if this new adventure was real or not!! from the get-go of my arrival to this beautiful compound, I was greeted with nothing but kindness, smiles and warmth. shomit made sure I was comfortable in ever aspect, ever moment of my stay!! I had the unbelievable experience of my lifetime: working with wildlife I had only seen in zoos and in movies!!
I was afforded the opportunities to work hands-on with leopards, birds, owls, snakes to name a few! these images have been imprinted in my memory box for the rest of my life. the doctors and para-vets are so well educated and were able to pass on their skills and knowledge to me! I would not hesitate to be afforded another opportunity to come back to resQ in Pune, India again!! I treasure this opportunity!
the reason for 4 stars: the food. I had a really hard time adjusting to the diet BUT, again, I was taken care of with salads, sandwiches, pasta etc. to accommodate my 'american' tastes!
again, thank you for the opportunity of a lifetime. I am truly blessed.

I had the most wonderful time in Thailand with the Rescue Paws team. The team is full of passion for saving animals’ lives and improving their welfare to the best of their ability. They are extremely friendly and patient. The veterinarians and nurses were always willing to teach us medical knowledge and share Thai culture with us. I am very grateful to have worked with this amazing team — truly the best time of 2025!

I loved volunteering at rescue paws. The people were so kind and welcoming. It was a life experience I will always remember! Dr. Cooky & Dr. Aum are absolutely amazing and I learned so much from them.

Best experience ever! I finally got the hands-on experience in surgical procedures (neutering + spaying) I was looking for. The entire JCT-team is very nice and helpful. I had a great surgeon accompanying me in every step of the surgical procedures. This experience also gave me the confidence I needed for the future.

I volunteered at Resq , Pune and it was an amazing experience. The wildlife exposure is quite hands on and the Resq team is so amazing and supportive ❤️

Booking was very easy and the support available from the team was excellent.
We were looked after so well by the team at Imire Rhino Conservation. It was like you were part of the family and nothing was too much trouble. The activities were well planned and you felt like you were really helping the community and the conservation of the animals. Saving up to come back.

I had a wonderful experience with WWV! I did the Kruger Wildlife Project :) They organized all so well and I felt well looked after!The booking was quite easy and the experience itself with Volunteer in Africa was wonderful! We worked with antelopes, buffalo, giraffes and rhinos. Kruger itself we visited one day. The work was in some private reserves around Kruger - in greater Kruger. So don't expect to live or work inside the Kruger national park even if it's called Kruger wildlife/vet project...just that you know. <3

I had the absolute best time at the Zanzibar clinic, absorbing all the local culture and treating pets across the whole island. It truly is an amazing place to be and such an amazing team there. So many great things to do on your day off and everywhere we went we felt safe. Highly recommend volunteering here! I was not ready to come home.
