these people took my $500 and after 5 Mo. nothing was done, then the Number and email for Rayan Lamar, who was supposed to proofread my book was no longer a working number. I sent my book (215 pages) along with one of a kind original pictures and News Articles to NY. Now I cant get them back. At 80 years old its too late for me to start my Memoirs over.

I signed two contracts with Writers of United States to publish first one book than they convinced me to publish 5 more. I paid $8,399 total. I wired money to a place called Digital Nest Studio, Jamaica, NY. It's been 15 months and no book in sight. None of the phone numbers are working and none of the "friendly" staff are reachable. I don't even know if Monica Brooks and Jason Anderson are real people. They would not show their faces when we had zoom conferences. The straw that broke the camels back was when they wanted to turn my book into a Netflix animated movie for $26.000.

It seemed the initial relationship was good, they presented a project plan. In the first week they did the deliverables, which were minimal. Each week they kept slipping. The work they did was minimal and not very good. Then they started ghosting me, calls to the various numbers would never go through. Emails were never returned. They completely missed all the deadlines and have disappeared.

Be very cautious of their sales approach and their initial start up, if you sign. This is a scam.

URGENT FRAUD REPORT – Scam by Writers of USA

I am writing to formally report Writers of USA as a fraudulent company.

In April 2025, I signed a contract with them for a marketing service package originally priced at $8,999 USD. Shortly after, they falsely claimed that the scope of services had expanded and demanded an additional $1,000 USD, bringing the total to $9,999 USD.

After I paid the full amount, all representatives from the company suddenly disappeared. Communication ceased entirely, and I was unable to receive any of the promised services. Throughout the process, they kept switching contact persons, and when I requested direct answers, they responded dismissively, saying their supervisors would not handle “minor” matters because they were a “large company.”

This company is clearly a scam operation, and I want to warn others not to fall victim to the same scheme.

This company is full of shit. They burned me for 300 bucks and never send me the rest of my chapters I paid for Monica Brooks is a liar and the company is a rip off. The office always changes addresses. The company you can’t find on BBB website. They act like they are European but sound Indian. If I ever get a chance I’m calling all ppl who was ripped off I’m Bebob from Philly 267-861-1878. I even befriended a guy from the Midwest and this company burned him out of 3500$ bucks. I told them I don’t want to deal with you guys no more and now she never send me my copies I paid 300 bucks for, I’m keep call her phone and I’m putting all her information online. Don’t use this company and the reviews are full of shit beware don’t send them no freaking money. I’m from the hood and I knew n my heart something was up when the marketing lady called me saying I need to put up 4,000. First she sounded as if she was from Europe and then sounding like a dot Hindu Indian. Like I would like to see this company n jail. They are ripping off hard working mf ppl. Completely bogus. This site, this "company" is an elaborate scam. They presented what sounded like a VERY convincing proposal for publishing my book and never delivered on ANYTHING they promised. After quoting a price of $7995 they quickly acted to attempt to acquire payments for that quote within moments. I was dealing with a guy who had an Indian accent giving the name of Nick Williams who suddenly presented a woman with a heavier Indian accent calling herself Olivia (reportedly the Distribution Manager). Over less than an hour these two used high pressure sales to convince me they were legitimate, including offering 700 printed copies "at no charge" as part of their "commitment" to the project of publishing and distribution. Without permitting me to leave the conversation they insisted on soliciting payment from me and were able to get two payments of $1998 (one from my checking account, one from a credit card) totaling $3996 before I could get off the phone. There was a predictable change in the name of the company sucking the money from us, CREATIVE AGENCY. Just prior to my sending them an additional $3998 by wire transfer another publisher jumped in and provided verifiable information that these people are a huge interstate scam. They had NO intention of delivering anything they promised. The internet is full of negative information and the BBB declares them a bonafide scam. The Independent Book Publishers Association list this site as "pure fraud". My bank would not credit the money back, and my credit card could not protect me. Nick and Olivia refused to acknowledge any issues or to return or refund ANY of our money. Thank God another publisher helped protect a much larger financial disaster. We are now in the early stages of reporting this and preferring charges through the FBI and with assistance from the Attorney General's offices in Georgia and California. This is a mess but we will continue our efforts to recover the stolen $3996 and attain federal indictments for interstate fraud and use of the internet in fraudulent activity. BEWARE - YOU ARE AT RISK!!!

I would never publish a book through this company ever. My experience with this company was absolutely horrific. Then they called me and pretended to be Amazon and offered me an advertising package and charged $1,500 to my credit card. I didn't find out it was them until I got my statement.

They are all fake! they use all fake names: Jay JOnas, Jordan Smith, Brad Finnegan, Trevor Holmes, Fred Briggs..... they are all from India, have a very thick accent and they do write all the positive reviews so you can trust them and give them money...they will never complete the job!! Do not trust them.... they are scams! They tell you that Brad was pulled off the project and fired and now it's the same story with Trevor...how convenient....

Writers of USA is a scam definitley DO NOT use their services i paid $3500 and it has taken them months to get anything done and they really havent done anything besides make me a shotty book cover. Do yourself a favor and hire another company
