Rubbish company

Rubbish company, delivered my sofa and told me that one of the recliner sofa missing a wire so won’t work, someone will be contact me the next day to arrange exchange and ask me sign the paper as the office already closed, the next day got no call at all, email them and they said that I already signed the paper and accept the product need to contact dfs directly

WD Transport DO NOT USE

I wrote a review last week so this is a follow on from that. I’m totally disgusted with the outcome and the person who wrote the reply , Samantha Roger’s Customer Service Team Leader.

How condescending is this! I wrote back to this person and asked them to reread my email again and please reply. Never heard a word back from her.
Disgusting service all round.

I'm sorry to hear you'd had a stressful delivery experience but I'm sorry that DFS had not informed us to deliver/ install the eaziglides on the sofa so you will need to reach out to DFS directly.

The order wasn't booked in for Thursday 26th as it was only a request so I'm afraid you didn’t understand that it wasn’t guaranteed date.

Treat elderly and disabled people in the most despicable way

Worst company ever! Don’t know why companies like DFS use them. They have treated my elderly parents one of which is disabled in the most disgraceful, degrading way ever. Firstly they were going to drop off my parents new bed last week they gave a time between 9-5, my dad got my mum ready then stripped their bed, emptied their old bed and got it all ready for delivery. They waited all day for the delivery but we heard nothing from them. By 8:30pm my mum started getting tired so my dad made up the room again so she could go to bed. At 9:45pm they got a call to say can the bed be delivered in 30mins (10:15pm!) my dad said no as my mum was in bed, they were really rude and kept insisting that they needed to deliver tonight. We kept saying no as my mums disabled and was in bed. Eventually they gave in and said someone would call back to rearrange another delivery time. There was no apology at all! The next day a really rude woman called to rearrange delivery, my parents have a Portuguese surname (as we are of Portuguese descent but are not Portuguese!) the woman kept insisting my parents spoke to her in Portuguese, my mum kept telling her we can’t speak Portuguese the woman started getting angry with my mum as she wouldn’t converse in Portuguese! By this point my mum and dad were getting extremely upset and frustrated and told her we will call DFS and rearrange it with them. My sister called DFS and rearranged delivery, she reconfirmed with DFS that the delivery men would assemble the new men and help my dad move the old bed. Today they turned up again with the bed. The men were really angry with my parents as the old bed was there. My dad said if you could just help me lift the mattress off, he would do the divan bit himself (he’s over 70yrs old!) they’re refused to help and just sat in their van as we tried to get hold of DFS again. By this time my sister called and spoke to the van drivers and begged them to help my 70+yr old dad to move the mattress, they said they would have to get permission from their head office. By this point my dad got frustrated and with great difficulty moved off the super king size mattress on his own and started taking apart the divan. When he looked outside the van drivers had just driven off!! No warning or anything. They knew my dad was doing all that on his own and they just left him struggling and drove off with their bed. If they said they couldn’t wait there’s no way my dad would have risked his health moving it! These people are a bunch of cowboys, any company who uses them are obviously looking for cheap, useless labour! Also get people who can speak English in your head office rather than getting them to have a go at YOUR customers for not speaking Portuguese!!! Absolutely disgusting and shameful behaviour by everyone who works at this company!

5 star service from me!

I ordered two 2-seater sofas from DFS. I couldn’t make the first delivery slot given but jumped at the second which was scheduled only days later.
There was tracking available which was fun to watch how far they had travelled that day! The crew of the two sweetest gentlemen called 30 mins before to let me know they were coming along. I didn’t catch their names because they were too focused on getting the job done :D
They were cautious of moving through my home, was very polite and nice to be around and they were clearly very proud of the end result!
I adore my new sofas and just apologise it landed on a day with so much rain!!

Really excellent delivery of my items…

Really excellent delivery of my items yesterday. The team who delivered called me beforehand when 30 mins away. Ever so polite, courteous and gave great tips for furniture placement. I have to say that I was a tad nervous after reading the reviews on here for my Nick Scali delivery but everything was brilliant. Thank you

Good experience

Reading some of these reviews I wondered if i had a different company. I had my sofa (DFS) delivered by MacXavier and Berlin and they were so helpful and friendly. They rang to tell me 30 mins away and were there on the dot . Nothing was too much for them and I would give them 5 stars anytime.

Shocking company

Shocking company, DFS told me when I purchased my sofa they do weekend delivery ws refused to deliver on weekend they are rude and u helpful. They were meant to assemble the sofa which they didn’t do properly and fit easiglides which they thre on table and didn’t fit absolute cowboys why dfs still use them is beyond me

Non delivery...waste of time and money

They said they tried to deliver and we weren't in, which was not true. The door bell didn't go off and my partner was in all day waiting, after taking time off work.

We are now without a sofa, £129 down for a non delivery. No phone call even attempted to say that they were at the door. There were lights on etc, so it was obvious we were in.

I am so shocked at reading reviews from people on here as iv just had the most amazing experience from this company this morning!

Text me at the beginning of the week to book a delivery date in. Then i had follow up texts. Text this morning which i was able to watch where the delivery man were to track my order. Then i also had a phone call half an hour before to say i was next for delivery.

Josh and Jordan were so respectful and polite when delivering my sofas.
Unpacked everything, poped them into place where i wanted them and took all the packaging away. But what stuck out the most was i liked how they checked all over the sofas to make sure everything was okay before leaving.
Amazing experience with this company and would highly recommend them to anyone!

AVOID AT ALL COSTS!!!!

Unfortunately, I had the dubious "pleasure" of working for WS Transportation in Baginton. The fleet of Class 2 trucks is quite old, many things don't work, and the interior is a complete mess. Nobody keeps up with the fuel and AdBlue. The most important thing for this company is money and that the goods are delivered, no matter how. And this two-faced Ryan, who calls himself a transport manager, first assures you to call him if there are any problems, then stabs you in the back, deducting your entire day's wages for allegedly delivering a pallet to the wrong place, even though the address on the POD was correct! I was going to refer the matter to ACAS and report this company to the DVSA, but I don't want to waste my time and energy on this group of cowboys calling themselves a "transport company." Avoid them at all costs!

Good delivery

From reading other reviews I was extremely concerned about the delivery of my DFS sofa but thankfully it was a smooth process. The two delivery drivers were polite and have good customer service. They ensure I was happy with my sofa before leaving and so far no complaints. Great delivery with no issues

1 star because 0 isn’t available, this company delivered my sofa today and they just made everything so difficult just bringing it into the house, then after they had gone I found they had pulled my internet router wiring straight out the back of the router when it didn’t need to be moved leaving my house with no internet and all my security cameras not working called them up straight away and they point blank refused it was them and said they will investigate with their driver and we all know how that’s going to go…as it goes if you order anything and it’s coming by this outfit I would probably reconsider

Don’t deliver when supposed to

Don’t trust this company they lie where delivery is concerned. Was expecting delivery today between 11.15 and 14.15. They say they didn’t get instructions from company they were delivering on behalf of (Fabb Furniture) and company who the order is coming from Fab Furniture say they had instructed them. Absolutely disgusting. Have been charged a delivery fee but not received goods.

Totally appalling service

Totally appalling service. Disgusting behaviour my one member of the delivery team who decided to clean out his nose by placing a finger on one nostril and blowing the gunge out of the opposite side,then using his hand to remove and flick what was left hanging from his nose. Then delivering the goods without cleaning his hands. Unhelpful regarding the furniture it being correct and just saying contact DFS. This was after being called a liar by their delivery arrangements agent who cancelled the first delivery insisting it was not a confirmed delivery when it had been confirmed by another if their agents. And for this appalling service I was charged £129. And you want me to recommend your company. The only recommendation from me is to Stear clear or WS Transportation

PRODUCT and PROPERTY DAMAGED

After delivery I'm left with a damaged property. It was reported 1 hours after delivery and it took delivery company over a month to contact the customer. (After chasing the retail) They never answered a phone call (o2 voice message all the time) There is no bookings slots available, and product + property was damaged. The outcome of the investigation damaged is that the POD was signed and some nonsense about the pictures provided looking like two different floorings. I still have no idea how they used the tools I provided on request, as I left them alone in my living room and came back after they finished. When I came back, I received the POD to sign before I checked everything. I did it as I thought it was the only proof that it had been delivered, but it was also stating that there was no damage to the property but there was..

Very poor service. Property damage

Very poor service, very poor communication, and very poor customer service.
I ordered the sofa from DFS, and unfortunately, it was delivered by this company. The delivery personnel damaged my sofa, did not install it correctly, and damaged my property (flooring). After waiting and chasing DFS for a month, they finally responded to me via email stating the photos provided look like two different floorings and the proof of delivery has been signed. The company is trying to use the signed proof of delivery as a defense, but it is not legally binding. I am able to prove there was no damage before the delivery. I will inform everyone I know about this unprofessional company, and I am forced to take legal action
