BEWARE - The site is easy enough to use so it is user friendly if you are familiar with the 1099 process. It would be helpful to have some written instructions presented on the site as a welcome page or something like that. The price was good as well. The problem is that the MISC forms were processed incorrectly and when I contacted the company about it was told that they had reviewed and found that no refund would be issued. Tried to email them about it and have had no response. I've requested a refund through the site and in the email and still have a balance. So now will spend more time and money to correct those 1099 MISC forms that the 1099online system glitched and they refuse to even acknowledge my requests.

Very good interface. Users that don't understand what a 1099 is should get the help of a professional. We have zero issues filing and issueing 1099s. Zero complaints from our payees. Accurate, fast and very cheap. We've relied on this service for years at this point. Again, if you don't fully understand what's required - and there's no shame in that: no one can know everything - get professional help. Don't blame the system. Really: get some help. Cheaper than making the mistake.

They issued a 1099 with a company name that is VERY common. No information is given to contact the company. The 1099 could not be opened. 1099online refuses to do anything about it. So I have a random 1099 issued in my name from a company I do not know anything about and they refuse to help.

I spent well over an hour on their site only to discover at the end (when I issued my order to file my forms) that they charge for the service.
to boot, I cannot find any option on their site to delete my account.

Do not trust this company. They wont mail out the 1099 and they will lie and tell you that it is your fault even tho you have confirmations and reference number and paid them for the service. IRS really should look into this.

I have used this website for many years and I have never had any issues. Very affordable especially if you opt for paperless delivery.

I am an independent bookkeeper, and I process 1099 for numerous clients. All small businesses. Have never had a problem with their processing any forms.

The site turned out to be not safe. It seems I lost all the work done.. and the money of course.

The Bulk Upload does not work all 1099 misc was filed incorrectly. I had to go in and refile each and every one and had to reissue a payment. The automated calling center automatically hangs up on you. If I do not receive a refund I will be contacting the BBB soon and I would recommend all reviewers to do the same.

I have used them for 3 years now, and I so appreciate that I don't have to rekey the clients info, or the subcontractors each year. And they offer to snail mail and/or email. Keep on keeping on!

It's been over 15 days since I submitted my 1099s and it still says "processing" so I'll never know if my 1099s reached their recipients before the deadline. I truly regret using this company. Never again. I plan on writing the IRS about this company's certification.

1099Online.com is the Walmart of 1099 Submission. Their Customer Service is as pleasant as a Monday visit to the DMV, their Bulk importation files always have an issue and the 1099’s sometimes don’t even print with all the fields previously inputted. Like Walmart, enter (or submit) at your own risk, cross your fingers and try to sacrifice a chicken to the gods because you’ll probably end up losing your money or submitting “incomplete or incorrect” forms if you don’t.

we used 1099online service, no update from them even after 20 days of filing 1099 status says submitted to IRS, no other updates, it is very strange 1099 online processing takes more than couple of days, I used intuit online, they update the status in 1 day.
