Very professional plumber, fitted my new shower, great tidy work would highly recommend.

The plumbers arrived on time and did an excellent job quickly and efficiently. They left everything clean and tidy. When I needed them to come back, because I had forgotten to request something extra, they came the very following morning. Excellent customer service and work carried out with attention to detail. I could highly recommend this firm.

James quickly identified and fixed the issue with my bathroom basin tap. Clearly a very experienced plumber and was polite, professional, and efficient. All done very quickly and at a reasonable cost.

p.s. Matt told me to tell the office that I only wanted him to do all the repairs. When I called to get the promised update, I was told that he had told the office that I had requested that he do the jobs. I wonder why ? ? ? ? ?

Had a leaky bathtub Nathan came round really professional did a great job all sorted no more leak and tidied up after himself! would highly recommend!

We needed an emergency plumber yesterday as our shower was leaking into the hall.
Within half hour Matthew arrived. He assessed what was needed and went to collect a replacement shower tray. He came back with Ben and removed the existing cracked shower tray and found the boards underneath were rotten. They went and purchased new ones, fitted them and then replaced the tray and enclosure and sealed everything.
They vacuumed the work area and left everything clean and tidy.
Excellent job and very greatful for their speedy response. Cheerful and friendly team Thank you.

What an absolute professional service!! The supervisor, James came out and assessed the job within an hour of my call to them. Gave me a very competitive price, saving an absolute fortune! He ordered the parts while still with me and called his team in right away to get leak fixed. He even made me a cup of tea in my own home!! The lads turned up in no time at all and they got right down to job. All done in couple of hours from start to finish!! The lads left, and James tidied up and made me another cup of tea!!! Superb, so friendly, efficient and professional. Would recommend them to anyone!!! AND, you must ask James to make the tea!! Best cup ever!!

All the engineers (5 of them) who have been involved in our plumbing work have been professional and worked with pride. (Aiming to "do a job to the standard they would want in their own home"). They have all checked that we are happy with what they have done at each stage.
I would have given the company a 5 had it not been for the slight lack of communication. Customers need to be kept informed e.g. if the engineers are held up /going to be late. Waiting in is no fun.
Otherwise very happy with the work, would use the company again and recommend them.

James from 2nd City recently quoted me £336.00 (inc VAT) to replace a syphon and handle kit in my toilet cistern. I was suspicious as it seemed a simple repair so got a second quote that was £70-80 max. I also have suspicions about one of two further quotes James gave me (for over £1,000) as my second opinion diagnosed a different, much less serious problem that needs little if any attention. I was surprised to be charged £65+VAT for the visit which was effectively giving me a bit of advice and quoting me for these 3 jobs. I will not be using 2nd City and am suspicious about all the 5 star reviews on here.

We had a leak from the main bathroom into our living room below. James the engineer quickly located the problem, which was a cracked seal on our shower. The problem was fixed within the hour and all at a very reasonable cost. Very polite customer service on the phone, friendly service by the engineer himself.

Fabulous job done by 2nd city. Excellent workmanship by Dan and Adam who fitted my central heating system. Tidy workers who never even stopped for a cuppa, very highly recommend.

Absolutely fantastic job done by Adam, Dan and James. Removal of old boiler and radiators and installation of complete new system, all carried out in a single day. They were all really professional and polite and it was a joy to have them in the property. Excellent value and impeccable work. I would have no hesitation in recommending them for any plumbing and heating work.

Mom, 87 years old, disabled, requiring 24 hour care. Needed her downstairs toilet, which had come loose at the base to be fixed. Mom can only use ground floor facilities. James the supervisor ! decided that a complete new toilet system was required. He advised that traditional style toilets were no longer available and were only made in white, as Mom has a champagne suite. A picture was sent, by James of the toilet from a showroom which is identical to the Selco catalogue approximate cost £120 inc. James charged Mom £882.30 for extremely amateurish work. The toilet is unusable by Mom, damage to paint work, plasterboard etc. Avoid them at all costs.

Hello I had Mitchel Connor to come fix my boiler and my taps and they did an amazing job the young boy was very charming and polite to my family Mitchel was very fast and very good at job and got my house working again tankyou for your help second city.

We have had our annual boiler service by 2nd City this morning. James (the supervisor) carried out this work in an efficient and professional manner. We have had James, to carry out this work, a number of times before and have always been pleased with the thoroughness of his service. He is also friendly and polite, and does not make any mess. We would recommend him and would always welcome him to carry out our annual service.
