Hi, I recently completed an 8-week Internal Medicine/Family Medicine clerkship in Brooklyn with Ace.md.com during Feb- April 2018

The physicians I was shadowing were very professional and I learnt a lot during these rotations. They even let me take a couple of days off to study for my CS exam. Overall, an excellent experience - I was provided an outstanding LOR and learned a lot. The accommodation suggested by Jon was excellent. It was in a very safe and easily accessible area of Brooklyn.

ACE was excellent from the beginning. I was feeling insecure about the company, if it was true, if I could trust it, if I would have a good clerkship ... anyway, innumerable doubts. Jon had a lot of patience with me, and got all my doubts in the best way, from putting me in touch with students who had already passed through the rotation, as helping me with any issues I had during rotation. I am from Brazil, and I stayed 4 weeks in NY. I was really surprised, the stage was better than I imagined. Dr. V was extremely attentive and made me feel at home every day in his clinic. He always brought clinical cases to discuss, helped us with our patients and provided a very pleasant work environment, both with his sympathy and incredible staff, as well as a new and well equipped clinic. Will I go back for a rotation with ACE? I really hope so! I highly recommend it!

I had applied for hands on electives through ACE in the month of August 2017 , i didn't get the visa though. The coordinater of ACE had been friendly and the service was satisfying i believe if it had been university hospital electives instead of seperate clinical electives then it would be great as you know for IMG it is a big visa issue which was with me otherwise all is fine. Thanks

My name is Timi. I'm Nigerian. I applied through ACE for an elective placement late 2017. Inspite of the short notice, with the help of the clinical coordinator assigned to me, I was able to get an elective placement in the Cardiology department at Atlanta Medical Center. I was so satisfied with the elective at AMC that I decided to apply for another one in general surgery at Providence hospital, Washington DC immediately after.
ACE is legitimate. The programs are genuine and the doctors, real. Through ACE I've been afforded a great learning opportunity I didn't even realize was available for me.

This is my 3rd and possibly best rotation I had. Organizing the elective was easy and quick, the company helps you select the best doctor and location to complete almost any rotation you would like. Very experienced and talented doctors to learn from, and plenty of clinical exposure for inpatient and outpatient. Also price is not bad compared to other companies out there. Already planning my next elective

American Clinical Experience gave me something that most of my colleagues back home would never experience; and that is to experience what practicing medicine in the United States is like. The process from beginning to end was easy and quick. When I decided what specialty I wanted, and where, the rest was very straightforward. The training on the other had, was tough, and of course that's what made it fun and exciting. The diversity of patients that I got to see and take history from helped me build a background on what signs and symptoms to expect from each unique illness. I would recommend this service to anyone asking me for any clinical experience.

I had a good experience with ACE. Joe is the first ppl who helped me to get the rotation and LoR. He knew my time is tight and have to do rotation immediately and he made it work. He is really a good guy. My externship with ACE is in Brooklyn and during the rotation, I told to many students who refer from other agent companies. ACE is the cheapest and it won't ask you lots of document and the process is fast. ACE is the best. I will recommend doing at least 1-month rotation with him. If you wanna do a rotation through an agent, I think you can trust this.

Ace Md, was my first attempt at gaining hands on experience. It was both an exhilarating leap of faith forward as well as giant step out of my comfort zone. Not knowing the extent of what I would be indulging myself with and to how much clinical experience I would gain when signing up, I can say it caught me by surprise.

The smooth transition from being a student in my medical school to being able to start clinical work with ease without any cumbersome and unnecessary hurdles was delightful to say the least. You go to the website, follow the instructions and start you work at a timespan suitable for you. As a medical student, I had many ideas of what clinical work I I wanted to do but never had a real jump start at how I go about it. The doctors I had the time to work with kept a good balance between professionalism and sociability with the students, while being able to take time for both the patients and students individually.

In the end, I learned more going out than I'd ever hoped going in and would be willing to go through ACE in the future
