John was highly recommended to us as we wanted someone reliable, trustworthy and would do a great job.

John and his team exceeded all of our expectations. Their work is very professional and of the highest standard. They worked through the hottest week of the year to date and started extremely early in the morning.

If you are thinking of getting a new Driveway, you need to look no further.

We approached John at Acre Driveways and one other company to quote a resin gravel driveway (412sq m2. Both recommended block paving instead due to the slope of drive.

Acre Driveways' thorough quote did come in more expensive and their timeline to carry out the job was longer but it is a small family run business and I generally got a good feel from him. It was a risk but definitely a risk worth taking - I could not be more pleased.

Acre Driveways don't use subcontractors and they have their own equipment. They turned up on time, were lovely to deal with, worked very hard and finished earlier than expected. They also had to deal with an electric gate and worked alongside our gate company as it needed to be disconnected and re-connected (which John did). Very pleased with the quality of work and the day after completion, was efficiently sent the 10 yr Brett Block Paving Guarantee.

Whilst his quote was a little higher, he stuck to the quote even though he had to pay for additional items out of his own pocket.

I am having more works done later this year and will happily use Acre Driveways again (without looking elsewhere) and recommend every time.

We found John and his business via a Facebook Ad.
Asked him to come over to see the garden we were dealing with. He made an appointment to visit at the next weekend. Arriving promptly.
John Snr is a lovely man, he looked at the best ways for us to achieve what we wanted. We had part of a vision, but when we talked though he made some very sensible and creative suggestions , giving us confidence.
He quoted within a couple of days of the visit.
He also made clear that they were booking atleast 8-12 weeks out which gave us time.
Quote was reasonable.
Installation days - Team arrived promptly each morning by 730-8am, they made use of our driveway, making sure they put boards down to protect the flooring.
They worked solidly until mid afternoon (very hot July weeks), cleaning up after themselves each day.
They have good suppliers that deliver on time, and to be honest made special efforts where I may have not ordered enough of something. Where I needed them to adjust my design, they really made every effort to accomodate. Also when they couldnt they were straightforward and honest.

Garden transformed. We were so very happy to have experience a really high quality of service. Exactly what you need when you are spending such a large value of savings.
They put up a Pergola, Laid new patio, new Beds, raised beds.
They also recycled some of our tiles to avoid wasteage and extra expense.
They removed the waste having cut out walls, and vegetation.
They worked very hard. No Slacking at all.

6 months later I called them back to put in an extra pathway, using up the spare tiles. They were able to squeeze us in just before Christmas week, and their annual holiday. It showed us that they care about their customers

They were hard working, totally respectful of our property and our neighbours. They even put finishing touches which we didn’t even ask for… perfection. We were looking to replace our old tarmac drive and front doorstep with new block paving and Acre Driveways had been recommended to us by people locally. John provided some helpful suggestions when we were scoping out the job and he and his team arrived promptly on site and worked hard to complete the job in two days. The processes for removing waste and delivering materials to site all worked very efficiently and the site was left clean and tidy at the end. Some minor adjustments needed to be made during the process but we were very pleased with the final results.

John and his team made a brilliant job of levelling out our pathway paving slabs which had sunk and become trip hazards. Top notch job and tidied up thoroughly once the job was completed.

John( Acre drive) came and assessed our front garden.very professional.gave us all the information we needed.

John and the team from Acre Driveways laid a new 30m2 patio at our home . Absolutely fantastic. We are extremely pleased with the result . What a transformation !!! The whole process from the quote stage right through to the end was done professionally . Our garden and driveway were left clean ,with all rubbish and packaging removed each day . This was the second job with Acre and I booked in August we were told the earliest date that they could do the job was the 3rd of Nov. At 8am on the 3rd of Nov the team arrived setup their equipment, all the materials were delivered over the next 2 days they installed the new pathway and step to the house as promised. On completion they left the site clean and tidy and removed all the rubbish. Everyone who has seen the outcome has been very impressed.
