I was taken!
In 2020 my late mother purchased a new HVAC system from AC Warehouse = Comfortmaker PHM4. She passed a few years ago and I moved into the home. I was thinking great! New AC should last for years if not decades.
Fast forward to a month ago when the AC she bought and I literally just paid off the loan takes a major crap. I call AC warehouse for a look. I'm told that so many parts went bad it would be better to get a new unit. Apparently mom's unit only had a 5 year warranty and it was now 5 years 6 months old.
UGH!!! Really after only 5 years?
I was told my mother bought a really cheap unit and they don't last very long. I was then suggested and convinced to replace the entire unit to the tune of $8700.00 wow.

The install was great (why 2 stars), however when it was all said and done and I go out to look at the work AC Warehouse did....I'M STUNNED TO SEE THEY SOLD ME THE SAME UNIT THAT JUST DIED AFTER 5 YEARS.

BAD BAD BAD business practice.

We have an annual maintenance contract with AC Warehouse, and are SO happy with them and their prompt and quality service! It wasn’t the usual “wham-bam we’re done see you in a year” service. Patrick did a thorough cleaning of the entire unit - complete with many supporting photos in the Service Checklist we received upon completion of his work. For the most part, the only photo I had a clue about was the dirty-to-clean air filter that was changed. (Yes, it was time, and I had the replacement ready to go - but the photo evidenced just how important changing the filter regularly is.) I have no clue what all Patrick did - but his super documentation was detailed and informative.
