The other day I received the best help looking for a new car from Cheyenne I think she said her name was, she knew so much about cars, unfortunately I didn’t buy a car because I didn’t find any there I was really in love with but if I was to go back I would definitely recommend Cheyenne, she was so lovely and patient, she seemed like she really cared about helping me find the right car for me and my family’s needs.
Extremely rude, terrible customer service
Went into Alan Mance Holden to simply ask if they had any time to look at my vehicle after issues that were created by a mechanic at a different service centre. Before I’d even explained my issues he said “short answer-no”. I asked if I could please explain the issues I was having as even if I did have to wait for a service to be completed I was going to need my car looked at. He listened to what I had to say but was very rude in telling me he couldn’t look at my car for the next two weeks, I asked if they had a possibility to hold the car there until they were able to look at it, because I didn’t want to drive it around with the issues it was having, to which he said “look around, we have no space, no where to keep it”. I completely understand that they had no time or space and I would have been happy to wait for a service and book my vehicle in when there was availability, however this was the rudest man I have probably ever spoken to in a customer service position and he didn’t even offer to book me in at a later date. Absolute awful customer service, I don’t know if it’s a lack of respect to women but after reading their Google reviews I’m glad he didn’t book me in. I’m still struggling to find a reliable service centre for my Holden but just from this experience I can assure this place would not be the one.

Took my 2019 Ram Laramie there due to a lifter ticking in engine . Got the runaround for 5 weeks about getting parts. Then the service man said this is too hard and cancelled the repair of my car. The whole Ram structure is so dodgy.
Holden trax
I bought a 2017 holden trax new.
I had a problem with the water vessel leaking and had to come back the following week to have it fixed,they gave me a large bottle of coolant to keep topping it up with,which I returned.
They say they replaced the water tank but charged me $60 for coolant put onto the tank.which was an outrageous price to pay.now the same problem has happened and I have told th e m I will be bringing my own coolant which for a large bottle us around $15.What a rip off.so once again another day of sitting around for ages without even a sorry this has happened.

Do not buy from here. Purchased a car from their Melton office. Put down my holding deposit, settled the full price of the car and now almost three weeks later still have not received my deposit refunded. First told it would be a bank cheque, later told it would be a bank transfer. Happy to take your money in a heartbeat ... not so happy to give it back.

I recently signed a contract to purchase a second hand vehicle from Alan Mance Motors, at 435 Barkly St, Footscray. The salesman, Anthony Jones, was extremely professional and honest in his appraisal of the vehicle being purchased. He gave me ample time to inspect the vehicle and make my phone calls in coming to my decision to buy, without any pressure at all. The contract was signed, subject to a satisfactory Redbook Inspection report. 30 minutes later, part way home, I realised I had not seen the AWD decal (All Wheel Drive) on the vehicle. A phone call to Anthony, determined the vehicle had been mistakenly advertised as AWD. This resulted in an immediate “no fuss/ no drama” cancellation of the contract along with a profuse apology. My deposit was immediately credited into my account, along with $50 extra as compensation to cover my fuel costs. I could not fault the Alan Mance Holden dealership in the way it handled the mistake. Anthony Jones has restored my faith in car salesmen. I believe Anthony to be a genuine “good bloke” and would recommend him to anyone looking for a vehicle.
Sealed the deal with confidence
We initially visited Footscray Allan Mance & built solid trust with the team however kept our options open only to return to ask more questions once again as we searched for the best deal , the team never made us feel pressured to make a sale , only offered us great advice and knowledgeable facts , upon returning a 3rd time we sealed our deal and once again we were blown away with all the extras offered and amazing customer service thanks Ahmed, Gabrielle, Aj and Peter a team effort to reach an excellent result !

Put a deposit of $1000 down on a second hand car.then cancel contract within the cooling of period in three days .allowed, sent EMail gave them my details so they can refund the balance , four times i have made contact with AlanMance they assured me the refund would be in by the23-6-20 yet still haven't received my refund , their service is Pathetic, how many other customers had this experience.?
Worst service ever
Hi. Alan mance service is one of the worst service I experienced. None of the staffs are professional. I can't believe a country like Australia have this kind of service provider. In my 4th visit for the pre delivery check failure still they can't rectify the issue. Today I waited 4 hours, then the service person saying your ar will start to do shortly. He promised when you come at 10.30, it takes only 1.5 hr. I dropped the car at 9.45am even at 1.30 they not touched. Absolutely ridiculous service staff and management. No control on anything.

I PURCHASE A SECONDHAND HOLDEN CAPTIVA FROM THEM ON THE 11/07/17 SINCE I HAVE HAD THE CAR HAVE HAD NOTHING BUT TROUBLE WITH IT . I EVEN ASKED FOR MY MONEY BACK AFTER ONLY OWNING THE CAR FOR 3 WEEKS AND I WAS LAUGHED AT . THE WINDSCREEN LEAKED WATER INTO THE CAR ,THE DASH, THE DOOR ,THE ROOF LINING BUT THEY CHANGED THAT BUT DIDN'T CHECK ANYTHING ELSE. SO THE DASH LIGHTS STARTED FLASHING ON AND OFF TO THE POINT I HAD TO STOP THE CAR WAIT 10 AND START IT AGAIN HOPING IT WOULD STOP .THERE IS MUCH MORE THAT WENT WRONG WITH THIS CAR .I AM ON A PENSION BECAUSE OF MY BACK AND OTHER REASONS ....NOW I AM WALKING THANK YOU ALAN MANCE YOU ARE GREAT (NOT)

Integrity and reliability and courtesy is their DNA and has filtered down originally from Alan Mance himself through the the management team and service team, and the philosophy continues with current principal Phillip Mance.
I’ve been dealing with the Mance team over 30 years, maybe more lost count. Holden, Nissan, Mitsubishi.
Every car I’ve bought for business use, private use and extended family use has always been a pleasurable and stress free transaction, and whenever car problems have occurred “after sale” they’ve always looked after the issue and solved it one way or another.
Never disappointed, always appreciated.

Ordered a new HSV SportsCat from Alan Mance.
Whilst the sales man is a gentleman and he knows their products well. I have to say very disappointed with their post sales customer support. Just terrible.
Prior to the sale, they took care of things which changing the stickers etc.
Post sales the Car came with a dent on the door, and a TPMS warning, which they did fix so that was good so happy with that.
Issue: However they damaged the nice AP Racing Calipers when they swapped the wheels as part of the purchase and the sales man tried to flip it off as a stone chip from just driving home 10kms way.
I'm sorry I've done years of automotive painting and that chip on a powder coated caliper was caused when they swapped the wheels they have hit the edge of the caliper and damaged it in doing do.
Instead of swapping the caliper from one of their demo cars they decided as the sales man said no, which I find very wrong to say no to a customer especially when they have caused the damaged, they opted to have it repaired.
The repair job was terrible and the car now has an ABS fault which I have to go back again to fix.
There was also missing parts for the loop plug for the rear tonne lid and also the hard lid has missing paint and has been tried to be touched up.
There are other things with build quality with the car but honestly I cannot be bothered with this dealership anymore as they just don’t want to hear from you post sales even if there has been damage caused by them on a new car.

We came yesterday to look at purchasing a BRAND NEW Acadia , we left totally unsatisfied the customer service just wasn’t there at all . We left very disappointed to say the least , now I know why the shop is dead .

I bumped into Anthony while waiting who stopped and made sure everything else with the car was ok and that I was happy with it, which even 5 months on I very much am.
