Popup after popup after some time busy on this browser. Every time this popup regarding a Premium account, I switched to a better browser already. Because NSA is tracking Aloha for a long time now.
Just get NordVPN for a done job if you gonna pay for it anyways. It isn't a US product!

They have taken payment for Premium subscription which I've had for years. Today, without notice, all premium services have been disabled without notice. Spoke to the support team who are zero help. Have told me to "cancel your existing subscription and set up a new one". The new subscription is £5 per month more than I'm paying and theyve completely missed the point that I've already paid.
Look for an alternative because this is clearly a scam to force long term customers to pay more. I'd rather pay someone else than be extorted
Edit for response.
I haven’t had access to an android device for years, so this “update” makes no sense. I’m also using the same log in details as I did previously. Should it really be the consumer who has to jump through hoops to retain the service or should the provider link the payment to the log in details and not the device? It’s 2026

Works fine, can't give 5 stars because there are other that I like more.
I have been using the Aloha browser on my Android phones for 3 years now and it has always run smoothly with no issues. I got the premium version at a bargain price as they often offer it discounted. It is very user friendly and simple to use. Downloads files pretty quick and has the same stringent privacy and security measures as most VPN browser competitors. However, the desktop version for pc's and laptops is not so user friendly and some features require you to find them. Also browsing on desktop is limited to offering only web and image results and doesn't offer other sources such as videos, news, shopping, forums etc. I would rate the Android version 5 out of 5 stars, but the desktop version 2.75 stars out of 5. 4 out of 5 stars overall.
An update to my earlier review. Nov '25.
Having used the Aloha browsers supposed free VPN, whilst it works fine in the short term, if you want to use it for longer periods you will find it constantly dropping out and prompting you to pay for premium service which once again here in the UK we get ripped off price wise. Premium outside UK is $7.99 per month which is £6.08 UK. But if you join in UK you are charged £7.99 per month which is $10.50.
You get an option to refuse premium but will find downloads that previously took 15 to 20 seconds are now taking 5 minutes plus to complete.
It seems nothing is truly free these days.
I recently downloaded the Aloha browser mainly for the built in VPN due to certain restrictions in force here in the UK.
The browser seems fast and reliable, that is until you turn the VPN on and performance drops off a cliff.
Using Google chrome browser via BT's fibre 500mb Bband I get download speeds averaging 462 Mbps which I've just checked. I did the same check using Aloha and it came back with 550 and 491 Mbps download speed with all tests being carried out via Which? speed test web page.
With the Aloha browsers VPN turned on, download speeds dropped drastically to 40,32 and finally 26 Mbps over 3 tests. A huge drop off in performance.
I have also noticed that the VPN turns itself off after maybe a minute of inactivity and needs to be repeatedly switched back on.
So it seems as a general browser, Aloha is no different to all the other browsers but the built in VPN is a massive performance reducer. Something to maybe be aware of.

La app es mucho mejor en el movil, en pc es una copia literal de google chrome. pero en movil me encanto!!!!!

A totally lying scam of a company, period. Nothing is private and you are spied on every single search you do with this browser, and if you think differently, above actual proof and facts, then this is the kind of useless zombie the new world order wants. The search engines are US, so track your every single keystroke you make in the browser and send it direct to NSA prism.
Anything in the world with Google or US company near it is tracking you across the world, like the one click buttons on the search page for american companies like Amazon, youtube etc, and yet you seem to think this is NOT happening on this browser, how ignorant, arrogant, gullible and naive people really and truly are across the world.

Great browser! The most convenient built-in VPN
I have used Aloha Browser recently for its VPN service. Everything worked perfectly fine, smooth, and woth zero delays
Using Aloha for several years. Absolutely happy with VPN functionality
Default due to the VPN and AdBlock, paid sub is cheaper than any VPN out there, downloading videos is a killer feature
No obvious kill switch for VPN, so I asked. Eventually I was emailed that I should just go to settings and choose "Always on." Two problems with that. First, "Always on" does not imply browser or anything else is OFF! So, privacy is out the window. By the way, Aloha VPN does cut out. Second, there is NO setting for anything but the (non) choice of servers. Their support obfuscates as much as the other VPNs do. Without a reliable VPN, the Aloha browser is worthless.
I have used Aloha Browser for years. And still frequently using it.
Absolute rubbish. Slow to download anything, VPN constantly disconnects and if that's not frustrating enough, YOU also get timed out. The truth is, this was a good browser back in the day, unfortunately, today it should rest in peace.
great and I like the function of downloading vedios
The best one to secure your data while browsing the web, the android version is great
It's an unbelievably private browser ever made
Aloha Browser is a great app. It provides a free VPN service that stops the government or your internet provider from monitoring what you are searching. The UI is sleek and stylish, it is customisable too so you can make your browser look how you want it to look. There are plenty of settings that allow you to fine tune your experience. Aloha Browser also provides news on your homepage and allows you to set fingerprint and passcode locks on private tabs and downloads. All in all a great browser with an excellent VPN service.
