My Kindle Direct Publishing account was terminated in early December, and my attempts to appeal the decision were denied. I was devastated - I believed my self-publishing career was over since nobody I contacted had ever heard of anyone getting a terminated KDP account reinstated.

I came across Amazon Sellers Attorney, and I wasn't too optimistic because almost all of their (raving) testimonials had to do with FBA or seller accounts. I had nothing to lose, though - the royalties that KDP was hanging onto were more than the attorney fees.

Waste of money. We ended up resolving the problem on our own by submitting invoices to Amazon while "Amazon Sellers Attorney" was still struggling to get their act together and create the appeals.

They kept transferring our case around to various people and were very slow to respond or do anything. They did not follow our directions and did not address our questions.

They gave the impression that, because their fee is non-refundable, they don't feel they have an obligation to do a good job.

We want our money back.

My KDP was removed and deleted because I was told I went against their policies.
