Utterly inflexible. An error had been made in my booking, which involved a small house move, a separate booking to move a car, and another to move a motorbike.
Apparently it's not possible to put a motorbike on a vehicle that has been booked to move a car.
Are you really taking the utter piss?!
So I sucked up the 500 odd quid I'd paid and cancelled the whole move.
These guys have great presales, and awful postsales. Maybe one day they'll realise the two are connected. I doubt it though.
Very disappointed. Sucked up the 500 quid and gave the business to another vendor.
Would never use it recommend.

After picking up a bed for me my brother gave him wine and said can you give that to my sister for her birthday he said yes. well I didn’t get it then I rang the company to ask about it. They said he didn’t take it can they have evidence so yes I sent them evidence from a house camera and it still is being reviewed what a joke I know it a bottle of 20 pound wine but that’s not the point I don’t like being stolen from they are liers and thefts I will never use them again.
Avoid .. absolutely pathetic. Worst service never use
If I could give this company zero stars, I would. The driver refused to knock on the door or ring the bell, then sat outside for 20 minutes before calling me. During the call, he was extremely rude, hung up on me twice, and then falsely blamed me to cover his own lack of professionalism.
To make matters worse, he refused to collect all of the agreed items and would only take one item despite the collection being clearly arranged in advance. The entire experience was unprofessional, incompetent, and a complete waste of both my time and money.
I have now contacted Trading Standards and formally reported the company. I strongly recommend finding a professional service elsewhere and avoiding this circus entirely.

Absolutely horrible- forcing to charge…
Absolutely horrible- forcing to charge twice the amount on the day of moving. They will NOT categorically charge u what you were quoted and on the moving day u can’t really cancel too. Horrible experience. Run a mile away.
Very disappointing experience
Very disappointing experience with AnyVan . Easily the most stressful move we’ve ever had.
We paid nearly £2,000 expecting a professional service, but the pickup time was wrong, causing serious delays that stopped us delivering important equipment to its destination. Items we had already declared and paid for were missing from the driver’s list, leading to extra charges, and the driver even suggested paying him directly instead of through the company.
Only two movers came for a third-floor move, so my partner had to help carry heavy items despite us paying for a full service.
To make things worse, the company has handled the complaint badly and takes far too long to reply to emails.
Lastly, we were told that we weren’t the first costumers experiencing all above..
Terrible experience with money grabbing…
Terrible experience with a money grabbing company. They’re attempting to charge me over £200 for a job that was not done and left me in a lurch. I wouldn’t use them again and a company like this shouldn’t be allowed to trade.

"Karl was fantastic. The levels they went to in order to protect the bike in transit was second to none. They took time and care off loading the bike both were on top of their game. Super efficient professional struck up excellent rapport I could not fault them just the exact opposite 10/10 what great guys. A massive thank you to you and the team and a humongous pat on the back to Karl and his colleague. Excellent work guys
Do not use Anyvan
Do not use Anyvan! They significantlydamaged the property on moving out possessions. They dented and scratched the stove (also broke the door), washing machine and fridge. Wardrobe paintwork scratched alot & lost the key. Ripped my mattress, stained my divan base, left dirty hand prints over my soft furnishings. They also failed to remove all the items that I was quoted for. Also upon confirming to progress they then duplicated all possessions so charged me double and when I asked for a refund they didn't refund 50% but 30%. Overall a truly appalling service, a very upsetting experience.
Anyvan needs to insure all departments work from same protocols
Anyvan seemed to tick the boxes: a few items to be taken across the city, with me as passenger in the van. Unusual, but with insurance paid, possible. All started well, even had an offer of an earlier collection, if wanted. As it was, driver arrived prompt on time slot but without a trolley. Next, they load up using inhouse trolley, while i come to join them. Consternation: they've gone. A Keystone Kops situation. Not funny. i need to be at the delivery. Fortunately, the driver turns round, collects me. The despatcher says passengers aren't allowed... ??? on the driver's head, i travel, except not direct to delivery but some miles in the opposite direction to delivery to another customer. Finally we arrive at my designated destination. Had i not been there confusion would have reigned. Driver excellent company, sensible, practical and deserves a bonus. Anyvan? Needs to join the dots to keep the driver informed, and, the customer happy. Would i use them again? No idea. Simply, customer perhaps has to ask more questions & each department needs to be working from same script. Here, customer paid insurance though nearly put the consignment in trouble.
I booked AnyVan weeks before my moving…
I booked AnyVan weeks before my moving date. The week before my moving date the driver cancelled. I had to then tender for a new driver the quotes were double and triple the original price i was paying, I couldn't afford this and couldn't go with AnyVan's substitutes. Up until this occurring AnyVan were so pleasant to deal with, so helpful with finding me a driver. But as soon as the driver cancelled and I asked for my deposit to be returned they were extremely hostile. My account manager Dillon was too busy to take my calls. After numerous emails and calls and a report to CPCC, I was promised a refund on November 23rd. It is now December 8th and still no refund.
This company was the worst choice of…
This company was the worst choice of movers anyone could make. They deceive you and stress you and then you don’t hear anything back when you try to reach out to them. I was paid to have a window of 1-4pm on a Sunday and the movers showed up after 9pm!!! They said it was because the office overbooks jobs and then everyone is delayed from the start of the day. So you end up paying extra and they show up over 4 hours late
The move was a desaster - the company doesn't care of any loss or damages
The move was a desaster. Even with a premium package, the company treats its customers like shit.
- I was forced to pay additional money (GBP 480) to get my mattress as otherwise they would have left it downstairs
- They lost or gotten my soundbar stolen but they said they delivered it (no soundbard was shown in any of the pictures they showed me) and they don't want to pay for it
- They force you to sign immediately a paper that you have received everything (but everything is in the boxes so it is clearly to screw customers...otherwise the movers would have to stay couple hours until you unpack everything
- They have caused damage but still are not coming back with any solutions
This is the worst experience I ever had in such poor servicing and client service.
I would never recommend this company to anybody.
Excellent service from Anyvan
I was very happy with the service I received from AnyVan. They transported my car for me from Teesside to Cheshire and the whole experience was efficient and stress free. I wouldn’t hesitate to use this company again or recommend them to anyone else.

I just want to extend my huge thank you to anyvan staff JAMES and JESSIE, they are very professional, on time from pick up to delivery, very fast and both of them always smile while doing their work.
Booked anyvan for 4th time and have no issues.
Prior to the booking I have discussed…
Prior to the booking I have discussed with the customer service and have given the dimension of the wardrobe 1.2 m which is written in the booking and I said it was heavy and I also said no lift and 6 th floor ! That’s also included in the booking in my email .
At the time of the booking I also confirmed if for any reason if the job cannot be completed will I receive refund and I was reassured that I will since I never used the company before and wanted to be sure .
The wardrobe was not taken down and not delivered as per booking and payment.
The drivers refused to carry it as they deemed it was too heavy . I have booked the service correctly as advised .
I have asked my bank for charge back and I am opening investigation against company .
They refuse to refund me for a job that they haven’t fulfil and wasted my time .

First time user
I have never used the company before but on enquiry found the company very competitive. The only complaint I would have is that on the company web site there is not an "Any other comments" section which I would have found useful. Probably an age problem with me.
However I found Florin & his mate excellent, they communicated well with us turned up on time were courteous thoughtful & helpful. No complaints at all.
I need to move something else in the future and will use them again.
