I hired Apollo Euro Quest but got an upgrade to Maui Cascade. As top brands in motorhome rental, the motorhome’s driving capability and equipment was reliable, clean and convenient. During the whole week, I had never experienced any problem with the rig at all.

I was nervous as it was the first time for me to hire the motorhome, however, staffs in Cairns branch were all very kind and professional at both pick up and drop off.

I strongly recommend the branch’s rig and staffs for its superior vehicle status and customer service. I hope I have another opportunity of visiting the branch again.

The staff were very friendly and the van was (nearly) perfect. A great way to explore far North Queensland!

We had a lovely holiday just following our nose and staying at the most gorgeous locations.

Would not recommend. We were given a poorly maintained and damaged vehicle which was not clean and stunk inside. The bed was very uncomfortable and overall experience didn’t come close to meeting our expectations. Considering the rates Apollo charges to hire these vehicles we expected much more.

We found Apollo in Cairns very east to deal with. An efficient and professional organisation. Responsive to our needs with good communication.

Die Abholung des Campers in Cairns war angenehm und ging ohne Wartezeit, die Rückgabe ebenso. Das Personal war sehr freundlich. Wir bekamen eine ausführliche Einführung in die wichtigsten Funktionen des Campers. Auf Anfrage erhielten wir auch eine zusätzliche Decke und Kissen. Einziger Minuspunkt: der Griff des Kühlschranks war etwas defekt; das wurde zunächst wieder befestigt, war aber nach kurzer Zeit wieder defekt. Sonst alles bestens.

Quick and efficient check-in and return procedures. Van clean and full of equipment. We had a fault on the first day, but we returned vehicle and was fixed promptly and without fuss.

Feedback on Our Campervan Holiday Experience:
The overall experience was great and we had a memorable campervan holiday trip. However, we would like to share the following feedback for improvement:
The staff member (an oriental lady whom we met on 2nd May during vehicle collection) appeared impatient and did not provide a proper handover of the vehicle. She repeatedly mentioned that she had other customers to attend to, although there were no other physical customers waiting at that time. Her body language and attitude did not reflect good customer service standards. This feedback is shared in the hope that she can improve her future interactions with Apollo Motorhome customers, as first impressions are very important to any company.
The campervan was quite shaky, noisy, and vibrated a lot during the journey. Unfortunately, this affected the overall comfort and smoothness of the ride.
On a positive note, we returned the vehicle on 11th May and met a very friendly staff member. This was commendable and made the return process comfortable and pleasant for us.

The induction of the vehicle handling was perfect by the team in Cainrs, specially Aylin, who explained every section and every tip to have a good trip. One of the lower gates didn't lock and they fixed it on site. Everything worked perfectly, excepting the main door lock to the house. It had a lock icon open and close, but you could still open it from outside even when locked. Even beign Australia, we felt uncomfortable letting valuable stuff inside knowing the door could be open easily. Apparently it's a problem of that door in specific because I Googled and it should lock completely. The other issue we had it was that the bed clothing had a strong smell to humidity, and we had to wash everything again because we couldn't stand the smell while sleeping. Everything else worked fine, the trip was flawless, we had a very good family holidays and had heaps of fun. The drop off was very quick, the offices is very nice to wait while they check the vehicle. The only issue was that at the facility in Sydney, there is not public transport in the area, so we were resigned to pay for an Uber to get to the Hotel or to the closest train station. Very good service, I would recommend it. Everything was very easy and clear to follow and we could focus on enjoying.

Lenny and the team were incredibly friendly and welcoming. Lenny took us through all aspects of the RV and was very patient with all of our questions. Nothing was too much trouble. We didn’t get his name but the technician that fixed a small issue was a great guy too. We’re excited for our 6 week trip in Australia. (Cairns Location).
