organization at the start , were not ready for our camper no chains we had to go and waste our time purchasing snow chains

We hired an Apollo Euro Tourer from THL for a 2 1/2 week trip around the South Island. We had an amazing time and the van was great. We did figure things out as we went around but we wished we had asked more questions about the van when we collected it. The staff did go through things but it was very brief and not really instructional. It was pretty easy to figure out though to be fair.
The van never missed a beat and was easy to drive after some settling in on the first day. About my only wish was that it didn’t have a bike rack on the back- we were never going to use it and it just obstructed our view from the lounge and bed area but otherwise loved it.
Just to let people know there is a pantry (which we were never told about) at THL where you can pick up left over foods from previous campers, this was really handy for salt and pepper and kitchen paper and cling wrap and saved us buying a load of stuff, then we just left it for the next lot of campers.

the experiences during pick up and drop off are seamless and we satisfied with the services. Especially amazed with new branch in Queesntown. Truly amazing view with Remarkables in background

Fantastic support and level of details offered

As a first-time motorhome user, it was a great experience from the beginning. As the days went by, we became more comfortable and really enjoyed the experience. It was exciting to drive the motorhome and explore New Zealand, making our trip even more memorable.

The staff were great, friendly, and helpful, especially during the pick-up process. As first-time users, there were some parts of the motorhome that were not fully explained to us during pick-up. Since we had no previous experience, we also didn't know exactly what questions to ask or what we needed to know.

Fortunately, it was very helpful that Maui provides instructional videos online. Whenever we were unsure about something, we could refer to the videos, which made it much easier for us to understand how to operate and use the motorhome.

Returning the motorhome was also very smooth and hassle-free. A special thanks to Anne for making the return process so easy and pleasant.

We also really appreciated the comfortable waiting area and the complimentary freebies provided. These little touches made the overall experience even better.

Overall, it was a fantastic experience, and we are very happy with our first motorhome adventure. We would definitely consider using Maui again. Looking forward to being back very soon!

Caravan was fine except really should have an electrical outlet available on the counter.

Given we have week plus did think you were bing tight with proving single dish wash detergent and single roll of toilet paper.

We booked the LDV campervan with the rooftop tent. While check-in was smooth and the van was generally in good condition, we ran into a safety issue right after leaving the depot: the rooftop tent wasn't properly secured and popped open while driving. We had to pull over on the pavement to try and secure it before returning to the branch to get it properly sorted.

We had a fantastic experience with Apollo Motorhome Holidays! From the easy booking process and airport pick-up to the friendly service and clear instructions when collecting the campervan, everything was smooth and stress-free.
The campervan was clean, comfortable and well equipped with everything we needed, including sheets, towels and cooking utensils. Returning the van was just as quick and easy, with a convenient transfer back to the airport.
The whole process was excellent from start to finish. Friendly staff, great service and a wonderful campervan experience. We would definitely recommend Apollo and use them again!

Everything was smooth from pick up the campervan to drop off, the staffs are very kind and they will explain everything you need to know. Their campervans was all maintained and clean as well. We had it for four days and we don't get any problem with it, make our holiday more fun and enjoyable. Thankyou! We will definetely recommend you guys to our friends and family. Will go back again soon!

We had a very good experience. This is our second time renting campervan from Apollo. However this time the van given to us had issues which we had to face during our stay. I would request to please check the vehicle before.

Really great motorhome, relatively new and clean. Also the staff at the counter is really polite and helpful. Definetely will recommend Apollo for your next adventure.

We received good services when collect & return of vehicle. Very detail introduction and demo on how to function the vechicle.

La verdad es que la experiencia fue completamente satisfactoria, partiendo por la ubicación del local, muy cerca del aeropuerto. El personal, sobre todo las chilenas, todas encantadoras, excelente atención. Luego tuvimos un recorrido fantástico, sin inconvenientes en la motorhome, todo funcionó bien. Gracias Felicitaciones!

A fun way to explore - convenience and flexibility for our itinerary was great!

Pick up of the van was effortless and we loved the idea of a pantry to gather basics before the trip. Staff were helpful and knowledgable

The staff were very friendly and helpful, both for pickup and drop off. The share cupboard is a terrific idea, it allowed us to take additional items, free of charge that other campers had left on completion of their respective trips. We also donated items that we had left over after ours.

We hired a 6 berth motorhome in Queenstown for 4 adults for a week. Waited an hour for them to do a service on the vehicle. The suspension in the rear was non-existent, making it extremely uncomfortable for the rear passengers (bitumen roads felt like corrugations). Seat cushions had no support at all, including the rear bed area. The noise from everything rattling was deafening. The rear side door was extremely hard to close and even opened on one occasion while driving. Overall, nearly $4000 down the drain.
If you're still keen to hire a motorhome, my advice is to limit yourself to 2 adults per motorhome (they're very cramped) and take minimal luggage as there is nowhere to store suitcases (we were in the north island the previous week, so had 3 large suitcases)

The staff at both Queenstown & Christchurch were great to deal with. The van itself was very comfortable and the whole process from booking to pick up and drop off were very easy to follow. We did have a few minor issues with the van, the radio and the heater, however these did not detract from our overall experience
