Crooks
Crooks who will hopefully lose all their ill gotten gains when HMRC & class actions strips them of it and gives it back to the wronged businesses. Would avoid at all costs, and recommend business is taken elsewhere. Shame on Zoe and her team.

Avoid this company at all costs. I'd give them a zero star rating if it was possible!
Unbeknown to us, they filed expenses claims that both my husband and i allegedly weren’t entitled too.We put our trust in this company and they took advantage. The took fees plus 20% commission, now we have to pay it all back to HMRC.

Beware! 1000’s of us have been left out of pocket
My husband chose this ‘professional’ accountancy company to act on his behalf but has now been told by HMRC the claim was incorrect and he now has to repay back the money he was told by Apostle he was entitled to! He has also lost the 20% fee Apostle charged for acting on his behalf.

Complete unprofessional crooks
Complete unprofessional crooks. As a PAYE taxpayer I was advised I could claim tax relief from HMRC. I personally received just under £2800 minus 20% for Apostle professional services. Now HMRC have requested all claimed moneys as aparantley I'm not entitled to, my accountant (Apostle) even to this day won't accept liability. How unprofessional and wreckless can an accountant be..... AVOID AVOID AVOID you have been warned!

Avoid at all costs, or it will cost you!
This company has mislead and lied to people, telling us we can claim for expenses when we can’t. I luckily only owe £697, but my husbands is likely to be much more than that. Steer clear if you know what’s good for you. We can’t afford this! I agree with others 1 star is too much for this company!

AVOID!
This company has made over 1,000 claims to HMRC on behalf of hardworking people that have now proved to be incorrect. HMRC are writng to people across the country to claim money back, including the 20% + VAT that this company took as a fee. People have also had their tax codes reduced because of the claims made and now have to pay HMRC the full refund amount, the money taken by Apostle, interest and any under payments due to the tax code. The statement made by Apostle through their solictor is incorrect. The 1,000+ people can not all be wrong. We all have the same story although most of us have never met. We all have evidence to prove our case. Please DO NOT use this company.

PLEASE STAY AWAY! This company has submitted hundreds if not thousands of tax returns falsely. They take 25% commission and claim against anything and everything with no proof of receipt or client validation.Also how can I be entitled to these claims when I am a PAYE?? HMRC are now penalising Apostle clients for incorrect claims made on their behalf. Apostle getting away Scot free because of disclaimer, it is utterly disgusting! You will end up in financial turmoil if you get involved with Apostle / A for Accounting or any of the other names they attempt to trade under and as we speak they have opened another business ! She claims it was all above board but like watchdog said on tv “they no longer of that service” I wonder why hey!! Because you know it’s fraud!!!Please for your own sake avoid at all costs.

1 star is too much for this company they dont deserve any, claimed expenses on my behalf they claimed for loads of things i wasnt entitled to and i didnt know what they claimed for and still dont charge me 20% of which was over inflated im now left with a hefty hmrc bill do not touch them with a barge pole

Total rip off
Claimed money I wasn’t entitle too, … now I lost thousands but as as long as it made them millionaires I guess it dosnt matter…. Watchdog…. The news and mps in parliament…. If you don’t believe look it up …..

Not great.
Not great. Over £4500 owed to HMRC. No breakdown of expenses despite numerous requests. 24% paid to this company. Claimed during the process to be HMRC compliant and they would deal with any compliance checks. This hasn’t proved to be true.

Don’t bother engaging them - you will be the loser
Apostle were engaged to claim allowable expenses on my behalf. Unbeknown to me they claimed expenses for things that I’m not entitled to. They claimed a 20% fee - inflated by their unethical behaviour. I’m now left with a hefty repayment to HMRC included their fees & interest
Avoid this company like the plague. Bordering on criminal behaviour.

Another one of Apostle’s victims here. Large HMRC bill along with a large number of colleagues of mine - claiming for things I couldn’t and shouldn’t claim for and covering it up so she got the 20%

My partner David is another victim of…
My partner David is another victim of this company. We are now paying back nearly £4000 plus interest and over £1000 of this inc interest is the fee that Apostle have pocketed and we have to repay. We NEVER had a "breakdown" as Apostle keep claiming in public statements.

NOTHING BUT BAD NEWS, AVOID AT ALL COSTS
I am suffering with a huge payback bill from HMRC due to this company's unethical business conduct. You may have seen them in BBC news and/or on Watchdog, having left their clients in debt and sticking them with the bill from HMRC, which includes interest. Despite their claims, this company never asked for any receipts. Only ID, bank details and my P60. They never asked for details about my job, only the title, date and company. They seemed to fill in the blanks however they saw profitable to them. The forms they filled in on my behalf included no breakdown, and they will not provide a breakdown to any of their clients which goes against another part of their defense statement to Watchdog. They are incredibly contradictory - do not trust them. They took full advantage of anyone who had never done this before, which included myself, so they can try to blame us for this error. And now the people are fighting back with evidence, they are trying to blame HMRC! They clearly can't see past the end of their nose! They have been called out by other accountants who cannot believe they have done this. They have been unprofessional and unethical. They are not a helpful service AT ALL. The complete opposite. They have caused me nothing but worry and stress. Avoid, avoid, avoid.

AVOID
AVOID! Falsely made claims then justify it by claiming they did nothing wrong. If so, why did HMRC revoke ALL claims made from 2016 onwards? Paid you to do a job as a professional but you didn’t, now you won’t even admit your error.
At the very least you should be shut down and never allowed to practice again. Best scenario, you develop a conscience and pay our fees back!

Company that falsely claim back…
Company that falsely claim back tax from HMRC take 20% +vat and leave you to pay back the amount does not return calls or emails. Zoe Goodchild now running INNOVATE ACCOUNTANCY 7 BELL YARD LONDON WC2A 2JR , I would not use this either.
